Sometimes the truth just doesn’t tell the whole story as with Arataki Itto. Let’s try and understand why he just needs to boost himself up even when its not necessary! And I’m also willing to bet that many of us do this too… it’s more common than you think!

Takuya kept himself chained to the past and tradition and did not want to move forward. Whereas Itto is moving forward and creating a new image for the Oni. He probably dislikes all the labeling too. That being Blue, you have to be this...and Red has to be that. He says so himself that they just paint their horns different colors (oh...is that why he's wearing mostly purple/violet???? Blue + Red ...white and black are neutral colors).
Itto had amazing line in the story that threw a cow right in the face of Takuya who kept on self-victimizing : "Sacrificing yourself is one way to escape your fate, but the only one you'll be setting free is yourself."

This is really cool it does make a lot of sense about itto's character. Also i think a video on the traveller would be cool. I know u already did one but im talking about how they are atarting to feel more and more used as time goes on. They didnt gain anything from going to inazuma they were just roped into it. And as u always keep saying in your videos that hopefully the traveler would be the one to help the people with their problems( bennet, kaeya, childe etc) what about their own?
