Loved your view on the new commentary duo. They very fact you can leave this option on without being annoyed after a few hours is a huge accomplishment. Got the game early again for Series X and absolutely love it.
Pinpoint pitching looks like a nightmare. I skipped last year and thought this had replaced my pure analog pitching. I love pitching and I can't use anything else but analog.
4:30 Pinpoint pitching was in last year's game too. Looks like you are doing it wrong. You are supposed to move the right stick down at just the right moment and place the ball icon inside of the shrinking circle. You aren't doing that and so that's why all your pitches are "late". In last year's game, once you got the hang of pinpoint pitching, it was much more precise and effective than the traditional meter based pitching.
@@XboxEra Sure thing, and thanks for the review. I look forward to playing this even though I wish they would focus more on franchise and less on Diamond Dynasty. But that's a problem with all sports games these days. At least the graphics got an upgrade.
It's rich in options for every mode... microtransactions are just the way of online gaming these days , it's annoying, greedy , and kinda unfair after already having paid so much for the game , but just don't but anything else or very little and just don't let it get to you... I still like to play offline as well , so I don't care about less game modes / features offline... and even online , I'm just gonna Play some baseball, either I win or lose...
Its a great game .....but same game pretty much ....I played an entire season with braves 2021 ...no sims,, on ps5 ....now I'm playing on gamepass on series x ....there are very minor changes ...if you never played 21 you wouldn't even notice da difference ...I wouldn't pay for 2022 if you hve 21 ...if you hve game pass is the best way to go
I disagree. I think pulse pitching is horrible. I wish they would use the pulse pitching like they did in the MLB 2K series but I can't do it on MLB The Show so I always use meter pitching.
@@oldschooldogy316. The pulse mechanic works a lot like a game called “Child of Eden” on Xbox 360. Around the time The Show introduced the pulse pitching mechanic, I was playing the SHIT out of Child of Eden, so it was a natural fit for me. If I had to use another method, it would be the meter.
Upgrade in graphics? Nope. Major changes to the two most played modes, RTTS and Franchise? Not hardly. Any changes to RTTS and Franchise? Not really. I haven't seen anything. More annoying RTTS videos that people skip? Sure. Focus on pay to play DD and other PTP modes? You betcha. Commentary? Brand new, a real amazing feature for the majority of us that turn it off as we set up the game. March to October improved? Never played, don't care about it. But that's what SDS said they're focusing on now. Competition from other game developers? None. Aha. There you go. No competition. That means "Screw you, fans. We'll do what we want and blame no new features in RTTS and Franchise" on not having good suggestions from our fans. Which they actually said in their videos.

Pin point pitching is easy to learn and a lot of fun when they release better pitchers you will be able to locate where ever you want.

You can easily flip cards instead of spending money on the game. Last year i had every card in the game and I spent only about $50 total on packs.
