My strat for this fight, is deinonycus and a single magmasaur. Magmasaur taunts the dragon and the flying nasties, while the deino's bleeds it down the dragon :D

I believe it was what happened. He plays on a pvp server technically, so do i and my Magma can hurt everything i own.

Think you know this but thought I would mention it just in case. The Magmasaur is the only creature with a taunt that I know of in ARK so you could focus the dragon's fire on you and just concentrating on healing your personal mount. Great video as usual :)

Great vid Syntac. How about taking on the scorched or crystal isles dragon with an army of space dolphins? I don’t know if it’s possible but it sure would be fun to watch. ✌🏼
Now THAT would be a fun one! The dolphins wouldn't use the saddles without a rider tho, so it would have to be with others 😔
Would take a team, I'd think. Same for using Bloodstalkers vs the Broodmother. Only viable as a sniper squad that moves around and uses high DPS guns to take her out. Might be as painful and useless as using Rock Golems against the Rock Golem boss or bloodstalkers vs Moeder.
A fun bit of trivia for the Dragon's A.I.: he seeks the "largest" tame in terms of risk. You can walk him around the arena by being on a Yuty but using smaller tames that are mutated and leveled for damage. He'll continue to try to attack you instead of the horde at his feet.
Astros are considered fliers and aren’t allowed in boss fights without mods

Hey Syntac. Tip for breeding magma's > use a wyvern to breathe fire on them until they pop out an egg. No lava required!

Once you get all your armies made. I imagine you'll go with R Gigas this time. You should take a massive army of all your boss creatures, your Tek Rexes, X Spinos, X Deinonsuchus', and fight the Gamma King Titan. I would love to see your Mutated army in full glory.
You should kill the Crystal Isles Wyvern Queen using something crazy!
Like maybe Argventavis, they can heal from the small wyverns so I feel like it might be possible.
But anything to do with Crystal Isles boss would be cool, there's so few videos out there with people doing that boss I feel.

How about: fighting Fenris ?
You get a freezing protection when you charge the searing spit. I know they charge slower when you are in cold temperatures, but it could be an interesting challenge for you Syntac !

Hello ,
A fun little challenge could be to stealth through the tek cave with shadowmanes. You can activate the female stealth ability and it will stay active(until they run out of stam) and you don't need to be mounted. Afterward you can use the male buff for speed boost which will help stealth by faster. Really nice for getting past gigas. Although if you breed the shadowmanes enough you don't need to even bother with stealth. Still it's one of the times I really got to appreciate the female group stealth ability.

When lost Island comes out you should take the sinomacrops into the broodmother arena. Since they supposedly will be buffed against insects, plus it acts as a free glide suit.

I've used Carnos on official against Alpha Megapithecus. Very easy. Other dinos I think would be fun but just haven't got around too are Thorny Dragons and Terror Birds and Hyenas. Hyenas would be real interesting with pack buff and harvesting corpse heal.

I believe you can breed the magmasaurs in the tek propagator so that you don't need the lava. Might be something worth looking into for the future so you don't have to deal with the annoying quirks of magma lizard breeding

No LAVA needed, just turn on breeding, and repeatedly blow fire on them, from a decent stamina Fire Wyvern until the breed is complete.
That sounds like far more effort than just going to some lava

Just for anyone wondering the best way to do it is get like 5 people on deinonychus that have at least 11000 health 400 Melee damage then get in the fight and pin it’s feet (the dragon) avoid the fire balls and full send no matter what if you need them because wilds are not good enough hit me up

Hey syntac, i know this may be a bit annoying but its a cool little trick i discovered thanks to an arktuber by the name of kiddas. You can actually breed magmasaurs without needing to be in lava, it may take longer but all you need is two high stam fire wyverns and constantly have them use their breath attack until one runs out of stam then you quickly hop on to the next fire wyvern, rinse and repeat till an egg is out. Im not sure if this has been patched yet or not but feel free to give it a try if you'd like.
That sounds way more inconvenient than dealing with the dumb de-loading mechanics lol

You can breed them using a fire wyvern with decent stam. Every 3-5 seconds use your fire attack on the female while breeding is active next to the male of your choice. No lava required.
Maybe name it Vulcan, after the Roman god of fire - including the fire of volcanoes, deserts, metalworking and the forge!

Also I think the reason why they didn’t do very much damage to the dragon was that they all were so big and couldn’t all get hit markers on the dragon because they were held back by the others

Your magmasaur was killed by main bish, definitely was cool to see haven't tried it myself but I knew it was gonna be a slaughter when I saw the magmasaur pile on the summoning terminal
You can get much better saddle BPs (or at least you could) by defeating the Sarco missions on Gen 1, I got an almost maxed out BP that costs about the same thing as yours (maybe 20% more materials), but with 250%-ish crafting skill, I can max it out... great "find" though! :)
It might be a bit late but you can breed magmasaurus on every map if you use a fire wyvern to set them on fire ;)
