i may inform you guys the fact that Pupeteer can (only) heal 0.25 dmg too tho it's a bit useless since he can only use his puppet like twice kiting Joseph
@bea You can do the same thing even at the start of the game. If you hear magical sparkle sounds, that's a Geisha. If you hear iron crushing sounds, it's a Smiley. If you hear the rocks moving against the ground, it's Sculptor. I'm not sure about this one but sometimes I can hear my injured teammates. However, because I can only hear them only when they're close to me, I can't tell how this will be useful.

I would like to add another tip: If Mercenary gets 1 hit, enters the delayed hit period, and Camera World is activated during this period (after Mercenary receives half damage, before he receives full hit), do not heal him in real world. The moment Camera World is activated, he will be considered as at half-health and this will be his mirror image's health. Healing him in the real world will make his real self's health 0.25 damage, while his mirror is still at 0.5. Damage projection after the Camera World collapses will make Mercenary's health 0.375 damage and make him one-shot the entire game. To deal with this, you can wait until the next Camera World activation to do the (0.25+0.75)/2 = 0.5 trick, since this time Mercenary's mirror will be at 0.75 damage. Some variation: - Camera World is activated before Mercenary's delayed hit reaches 0.5: His mirror will be at full health, so healing his real self does not do much, as no damage projection will occur. Deal with this situation just like above. - Camera World is activated after Mercenary's delayed hit reaches 0.5, but during the Camera World, someone is chaired: Generally, since Mercenary is currently injured, he should not be the one going to rescue, but you can trade off his knockdown with cipher rush. Heal his real self to 0.25 damage. Thanks to his delayed effect, he won't be one-shot (though he'll still undergo delayed knockdown once being hit) and can go for the rescue. If his Tide Turner wasn't used yet, he can bodyblock to prevent a double knockdown (since he'll be knocked down anyway after 20 seconds of Tide Turner). Doing this can save some time healing Mercenary as his health is "reset" (from unhealable 0.75/0.25 to healable 1)

Their average (you can kinda estimate) will be the final health after Camera World collapses. If you think this average can become 0.5 by healing the real one, heal them. If not, leave them.

Joseph is one of the OP Hunters if used by Pros. Not only it's complicated to go up against him, he can counter cipher rush and also hit Survs indirectly by going to the Camera World. This grandpa is insane to go up against if you are not careful.
Hes op in low tier and low tier only solely because low tiers cant kite (which is normal, thats why they are stuck in like mammoth) and counter him. He relies on luck and gets eaten alive some matches in higher tiers even if the photo is good.
I agree more folks need to know how to handle Jo’s healing but I hardly think rank has anything to do with it. Seeing as many are smurf accounts and it’s typical for beginners to not know. Some don’t even play rank but it doesn’t mean they don’t know how to do this. It’s merely a matter of learning and communication and practice. Nice vid btw. Explained it in a simple way so beginners probably can get a better understanding. I remember how confusing he used to be for me when he was still new. as a photo main i know this trick as survivor but some survivors even at griffin tier don’t know this!! i asked for a heal from this priest, i already interrupted the healing progress when it’s at 90% but she came to me and healed me again fully! 😭 and then i stuck with 25% damage

I played Identity V for a while, but never paid attention to my gaming strategy (which I don’t have at all. And, with all those years of playing, I look like a new player). If youre a rescuer (or any other character! but its a strategy so rescuers cant rescue) and photo hits you just one time in photoworld and then searches for someone else you could go into photoworld and heal your clone so it has only 25% left and after photoworld ends you will have something around 10% which will definitely allow you to rescue! Saw this a lot with cordis in griffin and some didnt know how important it is to heal themselves up when this happens. Also to every low tier perfumer: you can perfume back your damage when photoworld ends, as long as youre not chaired you will end up with 100% health again :) Perfume like 3 sec before photoworld ends and then back after it collapses. Its important cause she hardcounters him only at full health!

it depends a lot, if at that time when the photoworld has just opened and someone got knocked down in the real world and the whole team are in bad state then you have no other choices than to fully heal whoever can be healed to the point they can take 1 hit from joseph. Well if u choose to save 51% or to sacrifice that teammate then just take your time.
the amount of randoms I've met that don't know this and end up spamming "thank you" to me when I don't heal them cause I know they'll still be one shot is ridiculous.

As photo main, I try to avoid using my cameras when someone (who I am not chasing, for whatever reason) is at 75% damage purely to not give them the opportunity to heal fully. Of course, this has the downside of me getting cipher rushed, but they'll still be a one hit even if they pop the last cipher, Detention or no Detention.
@@postivelove2370 Yeah, but only on my good days xD I'm no pro by a long stretch, but I'm definitely not the worst. Most of the time, it depends on the team if I decide to take the risk or not. For example, I wouldn't even dream of *not* using my cameras against a team with someone like TME, Mech or Prisoner. When I do decide to take the risk, I don't waste time camping chairs and move around as much as I can instead. I started using a up-down build on Joseph with Teleport, so not moving and applying pressure is not really an option for me. And besides, what's scarier than a hunter that *doesn't* camp? Faking confidence is my favorite hunter skill.

Everytime I play as Jojo I see people doing it the correct way and even coming up with strategies that destroy my gameplay. However, when I'm playing surv, they just yeet all their knowledge out of the window 😭 decode next to cameras, try to do loops, even going into the photo world to run around. It's the Jojo curse.
I always try to do the heal .75 damage during photo world one but either my teammates just run away, get healed and go for rescue immediately, or the hunter hits/chairs the mirror image of the surv I am healing and my efforts are wasted ;-;
Also Barmaid can heal 0.25

If the priestess is 75, you heal her fully so that she is 25 and when photo world ends, she becomes 50 again. This way u can fully heal her.
Sometimes it’s useful to heal people even if they’re at 75% if a mech is on the team or the hunter has panic.
TIP: mercs are pretty useless if they get hit by joseph since it’s still a two hit instant down

you can force them to stop healing you and run. however you cant stop them from healing your mirror

Yes, all perfumer mains should know this. The timing is very important. It’s a very pog move when done correctly to make the photoboi mad.

As photo main, I try to avoid using my cameras when someone (who I am not chasing, for whatever reason) is at 75% damage purely to not give them the opportunity to heal fully. Of course, this has the downside of me getting cipher rushed, but they'll still be a one hit even if they pop the last cipher, Detention or no Detention.
you must be confident enough in your skills to do that then. As a rusty photo main who hasn't played in over a year i'd be scared lmao

Most of the time, it depends on the team if I decide to take the risk or not. For example, I wouldn't even dream of *not* using my cameras against a team with someone like TME, Mech or Prisoner.
When I do decide to take the risk, I don't waste time camping chairs and move around as much as I can instead. I started using a up-down build on Joseph with Teleport, so not moving and applying pressure is not really an option for me.
And besides, what's scarier than a hunter that *doesn't* camp? Faking confidence is my favorite hunter skill.

Some People heal me full when camera world is half fear and then i have heal my camera body and find too
if they are at half health and the camera image is too just heal both the camera image and the real player

Explain to me how I’ve been going this long and didn’t know this. Me earlier: Joseph match but usually plays doc, however, this time I decided to be priest because of lakeside village - screw up #1. Screw up #2 does all the NOT things and still lost. 🤡

YES AND SOMETIMES I DOWN AND THEY HEAL ME TO HALF HEALTH BUT MY MIRROR IMAGE IS DOWN AS WELL AND BY THE TIME PHOTO WORLD IS GONE IM 75% AROUND THERE AND IT PISSES ME OFF SO BAD AND IM LIKE SPAMMING GET AWAY FROM ME ;-;
Everytime I play as Jojo I see people doing it the correct way and even coming up with strategies that destroy my gameplay. However, when I'm playing surv, they just yeet all their knowledge out of the window 😭 decode next to cameras, try to do loops, even going into the photo world to run around. It's the Jojo curse.

I always try to do the heal .75 damage during photo world one but either my teammates just run away, get healed and go for rescue immediately, or the hunter hits/chairs the mirror image of the surv I am healing and my efforts are wasted ;-;
