    I’ve learnt loads from watching bundy’s videos, helped me loads as i worked on our T20. Great knowledge and easy to understand. It’s interesting to see an industrial Massey project as I being work on a 50B myself.
    This does look exactly like a 135

      I tell her that all of the time, lol. How lucky can one person get! I think she will nick it but that will get me the MF148 back. Picked up the Fordson Dexta yesterday.

    That's a great plan to do a 'getting it working' series rather than a full shiny paint redo. More of us out here want to buy an old tractor to do work projects, shows with fancy paint are fun but there's work to do. I bought a 'parts tractor' and actually got it running until the three point quit, the valve actuator cross-pin under the pump fell out, water in the system when I got it must have corroded the cotter key wire. That's all back together and I'm working on the top link draft spring reassembly (to put a new boot up there!). Looking forward to your latest project. Since you're coming around to spring, maybe you can run this tractor into a series like a couple of big channels "can we get fence row finds working again to farm with?" Lot's of new homesteader viewers out there. Fix, plow, plant corn, cultivate, harvest.

      There is a repair playlist now but We dont farm here apart from slashing the paddocks and keeping the place tidy. Ill see what I can get up to though.

    I have the 135 with the diesel Perkins. Looks exactly like that but red and silver. Looking forward to seeing you fix it up. I have a lot of leaks on mine also I need to fix

      They are very similar indeed, the industrial had a speedometer in some cases and no pressure control in the hydraulics.

    That is a peach of a MF Lance, if it was me I would leave the paint and logos as original. The patina and quality of that paint is as good as you will ever find. 17:06

    I used to see those MF20 tractors at road construction sites.
    They were mostly hooked up to a PTO mechanical broom and most times be surrounded by a cloud of dust.
    I see from 'Tractor Data' there was an earlier model - MF2135. I have never seen one or photo of one in Aust.
    Just wondering has anyone seen one here. I see photos of them in the UK & the US.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Год назад

      I have not seen the 2135 over here either, they had a very nice colour scheme not just the black and yellow of the MF20.

    What did the industrial Massey offer that the 135 did not. They seem very similar so why would you have bought the industrial not the agricultural. What job could the industrial have done that the 135 could not. Good video's by the way, looking forward to the fixing.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Год назад +1

      The industrial didnt have pressure control in the hudraulics but apart from that Im not sure. I wonder if it was a price thing or lack of supply of the 135. Not really sure.

    Hey Lance, I have a 135 with power steering pump fitted but the 2 rams on the front axle have been removed. Is the steering column on a power steering tractor different from one on a normal steering tractor? I'm wondering if mine has had a replacement steering column fitted because it doesn't have the valve fitted to it under the dashboard like yours has. I know where there's a pair of steering rams but I'm wondering if I need to find a power steering column too. Best wishes from England. Peter.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Год назад +1

      Same steering box but the column needs the valve. you can buy the parts to fit the valve.

  • @grantwtk

    Is there any way to convert it to an up exhaust instead of a down exhaust? I was raking hay with my 135 and hay underneath plugged by the muffler and caught fire. After a mad scramble I extinguished the flames and saved the tractor. But it was a close call.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Год назад +1

      Yes you just buy the exhaust elbow for the vertical exhaust and purchase a vertical muffler. Not an expensive exersise really.

    • @jvin248
      @jvin248 Год назад +1

      Get a flapper valve for the top of it plus put a can over it as backup. Upward exhausts get rain in them and ruin tractors too!

    Lance, are you aware of a source for an aftermarket diesel injector for the early style indirect injected 3.152 Perkins? My local here wants 100.00 u.s. to bench test 1 injector.

    • @BundyBearsShed
      @BundyBearsShed  Год назад +1

      For $100 you could buy your own tester. Im not sure about a whole injector but I think nozzles are available.

    • @subterfusion4005
      @subterfusion4005 Год назад +1

      Thanks I did replace the injector nozzles. Still get a raw fuel odor and smoke till she warms up. Need to check cylinder compression as well. Thanks for all the videos you are a great help to all of us cheap old bastards.
