Holy s#*& mate, you’re a Godsend. I was told by my medical supply store that only they could change my bipap level, and only with a prescription from my doctor. After having a setting of 24/18 (!!!) for six months my stomach is toast. Finally got them to change it to 18/14 but still too high. Aerophagia is killing my enthusiasm for this, and all else too, if I’m honest. But now I have control. And hope. Thank you!!!
Watched your video last night and lowered my max pressure. This is the first night in a year of pap therapy where I haven't woken up extremely bloated and gassy. Seriously, thank you so much I was this close to giving up.
THANK YOU! I needed just a tiny bit more pressure. I kept waking up feeling like I was suffocating. I shouldn't have to send it back to make such a simple thing.
I don’t know who you are but thank you so much for this video. I received my Luna 3 last Thursday and have been unable to sleep through the night with it because the pressure settings were too high. I couldn’t find anything in my manual about adjusting it and was on the verge of ordering a new mask. I followed the settings you recommended and got my leak down to 15.4 L/min from 46 L/min. I was able to use it for 7.1 hours with a P95 rating of 8.5 (have mine limited to 15 per your suggestion) and my AIH dropped to 1.5 from 23 without a cpap. This is the first day I’ve woken up in over 15 years and not been exhausted. I can’t even put into words how much better I feel and I wouldn’t have been able to figure it out without this video. THANK YOU!!!
Great Video. I find it extremely helpful more helpful than the techs in the company where I purchased the machine as well as the doctor himself. Thank You very much. You are the best!
So much this. The techs who sent me my machine and even my nurses at my pulmonary doctor were practically useless. No one was willing to help me so I had to take matters into my own hands and found this video and was FINALLY able to get my leak down to 15.4 L down from 46 and my AIH fell to 1.5 from 23. I have to dial in the settings a little more but this video was a game changer.
Thank you so much!!! Have been struggling with the settings the machine came with it's nice to know I can play around with the settings to find what works for me. You're the best!
Absolutely brilliant! I recently got the Tap Pap mask to try, but I felt like I couldn't breathe properly with how low the minimum pressure was. Used this video to increase the minimum pressure a bit and now it feels great. Thank you!
I just received mine and the entire four hours that I used it I felt like I was suffocating. Laboring to breath. My previous Devilbiss cpap is set at 15. I switched back to it for the rest of the night and slept just fine. After checking the report on the Luna G3, its auto setting pressure listed 8 and AHI 1.2. Glad that I can bump up the minimum pressure myself now instead of being held hostage by the doctors availability. I've used a cpap for 30 years and have always had severe apnea. The auto setting didn't work for me as I would have expected it to.

Hi Peter, the WiFi Module is an optional extra apparently and it's if you wanted to connect to a healthcare provider who has a cloud platform to review your data. I would advise against this and just use the PAPlink app to view your data or the Bmc SD card software for PC. Cheers
@@CPAPReviews ok I don't need to use it after I thank you very much I just bought a USB memory stick for SD card on eBay maybe might come today thank you very much
It enables a physician to grant the user to move the pressure within 2cm of the set value. IE - Physician sets patient on 10cm, when Manual P is set to 2cm, the patient can increase or decrease pressure from that set 10cm by that level. You don't need to worry about it mate as you're already in the Physician menu hahaha
I’m dealing with the same thing. I hope to have this issue resolved. My Luna G3 does not give me the option to change the Mode. In fact it’s not even a row to scroll through in the clinician menu. This leaves me stuck on a fixed pressure. It would be a big deal if I could select between CPAP and AutoCPAP but again, I cannot on mine.
Hi , i have this one since September and it was working fine but now in winter the Air coming out of the mask is cold even when humidifier is on 5. I am using the hybernite ROC 2300 to prevent water build up in the tube but still the air coming out is cold. How can i fix this? ( the weird thing is that after couple of hrs of use, the water chamber is very hot but the air is cold)
Hi there, check out part 1. ruclips.net/video/UmP3VDwH9bk/видео.html You need to change the heated tube option from auto and set a high value for the heated tube. The water chamber has nothing to do with the air temp, only the amount of moisture / water (humidity) in the air. Best wishes. Nick

Hmmm that's a good one Peter, I'm not sure about the wifi with this unit. I will have a look into it and see what I can find. Cheers
@@CPAPReviews thank you, i'm in australia
Hi Peter, the WiFi Module is an optional extra apparently and it's if you wanted to connect to a healthcare provider who has a cloud platform to review your data. I would advise against this and just use the PAPlink app to view your data or the Bmc SD card software for PC. Cheers
@@CPAPReviews ok I don't need to use it after I thank you very much I just bought a USB memory stick for SD card on eBay maybe might come today thank you very much
G'day, does the mask seal test work for nasal pillow type masks?
Yes
I have an issue where this device is pulsating when blowing out air. Anyone else having this?
When in CPAP mode what does Manual P 0.0cmH2O mean? What does it do as I am now on fixed pressure.
@@CPAPReviews Thanks Nick, I now understand. Cheers mate
Excelent
I can't get it to ramp properly. Very disappointed. The pressure is so high that I can't use the machine for the required 4 hours anight.
Also, in the settings menu it shows that " Heated Tube is unconnected".
Hi there, check out part 1. ruclips.net/video/UmP3VDwH9bk/видео.html
You need to change the heated tube option from auto and set a high value for the heated tube. The water chamber has nothing to do with the air temp, only the amount of moisture / water (humidity) in the air. Best wishes. Nick
@@CPAPReviews do u mean the option after humidifier? If so, mine says "heated tube unconnected"
