    This is what a documentary should be like... Where u have the viewers glued to the screen - the editing, narration and learning imbibed is so heartwarming.... We feel a deep sense of pride and can connect, knowing that we have this beautiful piece of land to call our own in our Nagaland. Kudos to the production team for rolling out our beautiful side of nature.

    The ZELIANGRONG TRIBE must protect this intangible forest- the only National Park in Nagaland. Why I'm saying the Zeliangrong tribe is that the next flashpoint of Conflict from encroachers is coming in the NTANGKI forest and the adjoining areas. The NAGA must uphold and protect this forest at any cost. No amount of disinformation from the Sumi tribe to disregard the ORIGINAL LAND Donors - Buisumpuikam will materialize. They have the audacity to claim our land and it is near to the point of total CIVIL WAR in Nagaland that will create a Manipur Situation. Be mindful.
    Small correction - it's NTANGKI FOREST not INTANGKI

      @@atsonaga5520 bro, a dangerous conflicts is brewing now. It is just a matter of time when the civil war will happen. I don't know when but it's coming. Everything we have progressed in achieving Naga Unity (despite its imperfections) will be lost. Our socio-economic development will be hampered in the incoming tribal wars. Our patience is also running out among the Zeliangrong people. Every nook and corner of our people knows now. Our patience has been tested. Our restraint has been tested. I don't know how much longer we can tolerate this. I wish we could prevent it before it's too late. But I know, the Sumi tribe will abuse their power through the backing of UGs, politicians and bureaucrats. With it, there will be a complete breakdown of law and order in our state. Like the Manipur crisis, there will be a vertical split in Nagaland. Those who support the rights of Zeliangrong people and those who don't. And plz remember, many Naga tribes have grievances against the Sumi when it comes to land. Thus, Nagaland will see a dark period. I hope that the Sumi tribe will be wise enough to know what's ahead of them if their attitude doesn't change.

      Sup tribe arm themselves up in defence. We cannot allow Sumi tribe laga countinued threatens and gundaness. Naga nationalism koi kene they were only interested in land grabbing. Naga nationalism toh tai khan para hijack kurise deh. Their leaders are totally sold out and with no principles. That's why they are against NSCN IM because their leadership failed. Manipur like situation is likely to happen at this rate. I wonder K.K Sema nearly led us to a civil war. Ao, Lotha and Angami should arm themselves up in defence because Sumi tribe is the problem. Period

      @putiimsong1563 Месяц назад

      Bro without any bias can you please give me a summary of the situation. The zeliangrong, sumi, NSCN, ZUF etc what is up with all these.

    • @black__monk400
      @black__monk400 Месяц назад +2

      @@putiimsong1563 your question has to be answered on silos basis.
      The Zeliangrong and Sumi conflict has to do with Sumi claiming some portion of land of Peren district and Chumoukedima as their own. Historically, a village - Kiyevi was allowed to establish by the blessings of Dunki-Lamhai village( Zeliangrong landowner donated some land to Sumi) Now, it has mushroomed to 5 sumi villages in Peren district that threatened and challenges the Zeliangrong tribe. It is causing imbalances in the authority of Zeliangrong people that will cause alot of conflicts in the years to come. However, the real persons who have settled in Kiyevi village migrated back to Dimapur areas. New comers have started to challenge the authority of Land donors...so basically this is the reason conflict has started. Their misleading claims were that the British gave them to settle in the village which is contrary to the vows taken by their ancestors.
      The ZUF is an armed group of the Zeliangrong tribe to oppose NSCN-IM authority over Zeliangrong land and people. ZUF was formed realising the impracticality of Naga Independence from India. Zeliangrong population favours an INTEGRATION OF LAND to Nagaland state or creates a new Union Territory. However, violence can never solve any pending issues. Through democratic process, it can be achieved. Zeliangrong Homeland Demand ( formed by Rani Gaidinliu ) movement was started before it was kept in abeyance due to multiple appeals from the Naga organisations to let the Naga UGs lead the struggle for Nagaland Cause taking the Zeliangrong grievances with it. Since Zeliangrong tribe are split into three states - Assam, Manipur and Nagaland, the yearning for One - Administrative was long echoed by us. So, we are waiting for the Naga issue to either solve our problem along with the Naga issue or we will carve our own path.
      As you know, practically every UGs have back down from Sovereignty to mere Autonomy. Naga peoples are facing multiple challenges ranging from multiple taxation, disarrayed Naga Cause, lack of development and progress etc.
      Nagas are in perpetual mode of violence and conflicts rather than focusing on socio-economic progress that will be a better solution. The peace in Nagaland is fragile as the Nagas are always in conflict mode within the Naga family.
      @zyanblake3518 your tribe can try dude 😎 let's see how much determination your tribe got..... I'm telling you, once the Zeliangrong resolves to fight, it is the day Sumi will back down. We know your thinking and behaviour. Kindly don't ignore these facts - Zeliangrong people are tolerating your imbecile tribe. We are not afraid FYI....it is just a matter of time before it explodes. When it explodes, don't blame us with agony. Your tribe will really regret it. Mark my words. The Zeliangrong Patriots will avenge the fallen soldiers

    It was a great pleasure to watch and proud to have a national park in our state, but the authority must take utmost care and take into confidence the surrounding villages for the protection of the forest, job must also be provided to this vilagers, so that they give much importance for safeguarding the existing forest, it is pertenent to mention that some villagers in collaboration with outsiders help in hunting the wildlife which I had observed personally, because the gullible villagers does not realise the imp. Of wild animals, but rely on the hunters for meagre cash or kind, so the deptt. must create more awareness or seminars for this poor and ignorant villagers. Besides no new village's should be allowed to be establish near the park, and the boundaries should be clearly marked before it is too late.

      Call me pessimistic, but I feel like in 20-30 years, this National park will disappear from Nagaland. Khatam bye bye tata goodbye!
      I base this on the simple fact of "Nagas being Nagas." Despite being a small populated state, we have this endless appetite for encroaching on lands that really shouldn’t be touched, like this sanctuary. Pure greed. And let’s be real, it’s already happening. Our beloved government will do nothing about it, just watch.
      I share your idea about educating the nearby villagers on the importance of preserving the sanctuary and clearly marking its boundaries. But I have a feeling the village heads are more interested in something else, like waiting for the next round of village funds, perhaps lol
      In short, I'd say Nagaland is hopeless.

    The only national park in Nagaland it is a great asset to us nagas we should take full care of it! The govt can do much better by introducing tourism in intangki in the form of sight seeing and safari programmes which will generate great revenue and the funds can be used for further protection and maintenance of the park. Also conservation of the flora and fauna is the bedrock of intangki to prosper so we the nagas need to understand and realize the importance of preserving them even though our ancestors have been foraging the wild for their survival due to lack of resources which are easily accessible to us today! It's a high time each Naga realize the importance of preserving nature!

    Ntangki usually mispronounced and mispelled by first writers as Intangki. Some tribes can't pronounce N word instead pronouncing it as IN and thus, this small mispronounciation led to providing false information instead of real name. Official error made humans to believe the incorrect as Correct. We are so obedient to the official declaration and doesn't care about our true self. We are being dictated by official declaration/laws/terms, etc. If my name is misspelled by govt. in any official order, I should change it and it should be corrected. Likewise, officially it's been corrected in many instances but only the little knowledge walas still using it as Intangki, little knowledge is dangerous.

    This is my first time seeing the Park through your visual documentation. How many months/years did it take?
    To provide proper context to the National Park, data such as species-animals and plants-the number of endangered species, the number of poachers detected during hunting season, and other relevant data would be helpful.
    While policymakers discuss hunting rehabilitation programs for surrounding villages, we don’t get to know how the villagers respond to such programs.

      It took almost 4 years and yes it's time telling story of the park also first time for Chief minister to see Intanki National Park in visual medium.
      As of now, concern department had executed Tiger census in the park. So I'm hoping that department will come out with such detail data collections for both common and endangered species of birds and animals for the state.
      There are so many issues remain unsolved although department is putting their best to protect our national park.
