Where you are and where you want to be and how to figure out what you want. She puts it so simply. What makes you curious? What could you spend hours doing? And now research, build the skill and execute. Ah so simple but then she also explains why it's not so simple because our brain is conditioned to fear unknown risks!

Hi Mel! Thank you for the 5 second rule, it works! I have a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 rule. It is for catatonic, catastrophic, persons. It works too! I do 5 things, in a row. 1- can be picking something up. 2- put it in the garbage, 3- see no1, 4- see no2, 5- so forth. It helps me for house work and starting bigger jobs. 1-5 is wind in your sails when you hit the doldrums. (doldrums is where the is no wind and no waves or current, where ships get stuck) Brushing teeth can be done in 5 steps. This sounds silly but it has gotten me out of doldrums. Then I do 5 times 5. Mel you have helped so many people, you can use my 1-5 rule as the exception to the 5-1 rule.

" Made decisions based upon values over the last two years that put me in a position I never wanted to be in, that changed course for others and myself. Public repercussions happened, people have made remarks to me not knowing my role. Some old relationships were lost, seems a new one was found. Grateful for what I found in all this mess, l a new part of myself, a new journey ahead of me, old relationships that stayed solid and a new one formed. . Loss is sometimes gain as much as it hurts. What I lost had no concern about me or the welfare of others. It was more of an extraction of things and people who needed to be out of my life. Still stings but I will survive, I don't care how, I will. I've never seen what I've see these years and hope I never will again, but every single situation I've grown out of from my past brought me to the knowledge I needed over the last two years. I would go through it all again and still make the same choices I made again.

My experience on 54321. It can be easy and it also can be difficult. Like everything else in life we need to put it into our system. How? I started with all the easy things in my life. 54321 take shower. 54321 eat breakfast. 54321 whatever. Creat a game. The same way I trained my dogs. You know Evan I always highly valued and respected MEN, just the way I have been raised up. But, It's happened that some of them take advantage of my naivety to destroy me. Sometimes, I feel frustrated because I have been growing up learning that MEN were a symbol of strength and protection for women and the vulnerables. what do you want to do what are your dreams you know what I keep thinking and thinking and I don't have any and I'm sad because of that
I don't know what I want I don't know what I like I don't know anything besides taking care of everybody else that's what I know I don't take care of me and I don't know how🥺🙏any advice on how to find yourself?
You know these feelings in my head have been there since I was a kid and now I'm 58 and I'm no different than I was when I was 12 at least not emotionally🥺

What does this message have to do with socioeconomic warfare , covid , and the internet being introduced to the gradual extinction of direct personal interactions free of disinterested recordkeeping and reporting by the media that filter our expressed thoughts ?

You know Evan I always highly valued and respected MEN, just the way I have been raised up. But, It's happened that some of them take advantage of my naivety to destroy me. Sometimes, I feel frustrated because I have been growing up learning that MEN were a symbol of strength and protection for women and the vulnerables. Instead, by my experiences, all my unjustified abuses, bullying, and agonies are coming from some heartless men. This is really confusing to me.
