- Hey everyone today we picked up our 2024 Yamaha SRX Sidewinder LE EPS 137, taking delivery from Argyll Motorsports in Edmonton, Alberta. Super stoked to get this thing out on the trails in the next few months and see how the Boosted Genesis 998 engine feels.
We'll be throwing on some added Yamaha mods to this sled shortly, so make sure to see that video coming up next week on the channel. The Black & Gold on this sled looks unreal in person!
Stay tuned for more riding videos this season! Lots more to come so make sure to subscribe, and hit that notification bell. Thanks for watching!

Cat And Yamaha have had the Best retro graphic schemes on their sled the last 10 years. This one is one of the BEST! I still love the 2014 - 2017 El Tigre retro graphics. And the SRX from the last 5 years or so as well. Enjoy your Sled!! Pray for snow year in and around Edmonton and all of Alberta,
No snow here yet... and it's december now. Hopefully I'll get out riding? 😂
My older brother had a 1980, same paint scheme.. I luv that color
She’s sharp!! Love my 23 SRX. Let it snow
That sled looks almost too nice to ride what a nice colour combo and scheme. Can’t wait to see how it runs for you this season.
Will update with more videos coming shortly! Thanks man.
That’s the best looking paint scheme I’ve seen on this sled and I love the blue one. I wonder how they can top this with the final SRX ? Maybe the Kenny Roberts Yamaha Racing Yellow
Agreed haha, I like the blue one as well!
They should make the last one look like the 1976/ 77 SRX 440 oval racer. That’s the real legendary SRX. True story- A guy found a leftover 76 440 SRX in Canada 20 years ago , bought it, tuned it up and brought it to the biggest grass drag in my area. He proceeded to stomp every stock sled including new 800 twins . After winning most of the stock money and trophies he was told by track manager: Thanks for coming now never come back here again. The true SRX oval racers were flat track weapons capable of beating up on machines much bigger than a 440. The only 440 sleds capable of running with them were either a 1977 Cat Z 440 or a 1976 Mercury 440. Both also oval racers. Not trail sleds.
Sweet Sled! You're going to have some fun for a long time! Yamaha's last!!!!
That's the sexiest looking sled on snow.enjoy and ride safe, those boosted sleds can get you in trouble faster than you can blink.
Thank you! I've got videos coming this week on it so stay tuned..
Awesome!!! Brings back the look of the 80. Damn shame Yami is getting out of the business. Only 3 brands left? Prices are only going to go up. Unfortunately. Awesome video.
Thanks! I've got more coming this week so make sure to see those!
Freaking awesome and it sounds mean too. 👍
Thank you! Make sure to subscribe we got more videos coming on it!
1980 SRX paint scheme
An aggressive track would look amazing on there
Would look pretty wicked with a taller lug track, possibly would do that later on for light off trail riding.
@@DECKONReither way its gorgeous and I’m envious while I’m on an 06 nytro
The whole point of the SRX is to reduce drag with the lower lug profile.
Looks dope
Thanks! More videos coming shortly on it.
Too bad yamaha is getting out of the snowmobile business.
Track looks like a supermarket conveyor belt🤣
What a machine! I assume that is a custom paint job?
Factory Paint Job! This snowmobile comes from the factory to resemble the 1980 Yamaha SRX 440 in the same metallic gold and black colors.
Get some clear protective film and put it over that tunnel. You won’t regret doing it
Great idea, did mention that as well. Might do some protective film on this sled!
The boost will eat that in the trails 🎉
On a racetrack, a boost would lap it. You need a light machine there. On regular trails, keeping your skis on the ground is king. Heavy front end Yamahas have outperformed everything on the trails since the early 2000's. You can keep more power on going through corners and they have better power to weight ratio in a straight line. I do prefer to ride Polaris or Skidoo these days because wheelies are just fun as hell. But no, they definitely don't get you around a trail faster. You can't keep the damn skis on the ground trying to keep up to a Yamaha.
It's abig old wenner in the trails
i remember being that excited to pick up my sidewinder. wow what a mistake that was. wish someone had warned me that it would be the worst sled id ever own. i feel sorry for u bro
No need to feel sorry when all you see is the tail lights. 😀
