They are both pretty. I like the color of your mom's table top. Your colors are just as pretty. You would not know that both tables has the same color. I wouldn't believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Great job on both tell your mother I said hello.
The only difference in colors were I used copper and she used gold, otherwise the brown and white were the same, shocking!

THIS is the best video, ever! I have an old (65+ yr) round wooden coffee table that is about 34" diameter. It's been painted many colors over the years. I am definitely inspired to give it new life with this technique!!

I think doing half dirty pour / half white and tilting really gave a great effect! I also love how your Mom went from "I'm not good at this" on the first table to giving advice on the 2nd!! You are such a good teacher and have so much patience, her confidence went up that fast, it was amazing

Metallics tend to take over. Gold, copper and silver have to be used with a light hand. They are beautiful tables!

Hello Michelle's mom, I see where Michelle gets her outgoing personality and confidence. Michelle, I like both of them, but if you want a lighter surface on yours... just mix a clear and a transparent top layer using the same white mica powder. Where it's too dark put the mica white transparent on. Where you like the color, put the clear on. They will flow together to make it look seamless. ❤❤❤

I love both of them. I wish we could have seen how you take care of the drips and then finish the edges.
I let the drips dry, flipped the tables over and sanded them off in the garage with a hand orbital sander till gone. Pretty simple actually.

I didn’t because it’s not going to be seen. But I guess you can even use a sealer of some sort other than resin.

Absolutely! I used stone coat on my counter in the resin room! Worked great!

I don’t know if you’ve painted the table yet, but I recently discovered a spray paint by Rustoleum 2X called Espresso. (I know I’m probably light years behind) It’s so pretty. You should check it out. I think it would look fabulous with that table top! 😊 BTW…they are both gorgeous!

When your resin is too deep in a container the chemical reaction happens to fast and will cure in a minute or two and look like it boiled

I love these tables but have a question if your using wooden tables what primer do you use on table before adding resin
Any primer for wood, my resin room had wood base counters that I primed with primer from Lowe’s.
