    Seek alternative means before this kind of medical interventions. If it's diet related why not just begin the journey of reducing your intake of food. I'm a prime example in 2017 I was 105. I begun the journey of reducing my weight. I started by having light meals every morning, lunch and dinner. I got into an exercise regime, began running short distances... Built it with time to long distances! Today I'm 76kgs I only have 2 meals. One light meal mid morning and another meal mid afternoon. In short let's explore other options before this.

    This is just another advert for an unnecessary surgical procedure a short cut to weight loss rather than go through the challenge of self discipline towards a lifestyle change. This is crazy. Please lets avoid this I"m also overweight from a sedentary lifestyle in a cold country but now Im working towards weight loss through a more active lifestyle and less eating. No surgery is risk free and it has no guarantee for side effects.

    Great work letting people see the inside of the programme. But it makes me feel so lucky because I swim for weight loss. I know that not everyone can get into the pool and swim as they want. I recommend those who can to learn swimming and use it for weight loss and forgo such programmes. Again disciplined walking 30 or 40 minutes a day can help a lot too. Good luck to all those looking into managing their weight for better health.

    the woman's courage to address her weight loss concerns is so inspiring. i've battled with work-related stress-induced weight gain for a long time. it's been a struggle to take care of myself while juggling a demanding career. Aspect Health has been a game-changer for me. i've learned stress-management techniques and made customized dietary adjustments that have not only helped me shed excess weight but also find a renewed sense of balance.

    Great to see that Caroline is taking a step towards a healthier weight goal. I hope this won't influence people to consider this as the first option. surgery should ideally be an option for only the morbidly obese. The likes we see in the US who can barely walk. If you can walk, you can loose weight naturally via diet control and exercise. Loosing weight too fast via surgery can also result in saggy skin. Which will then also require surgery to remove.

    Is it possible to do this and somehow target the stomach area?

    • @nairobibariatric
      @nairobibariatric  4 месяца назад +1

      Hey Donatio , it's important to note that the primary purpose of the gastric balloon is to help with overall weight loss rather than targeting a specific area, such as the stomach.
      The gastric balloon works by occupying space in the stomach, which makes people feel full more quickly and reduces their food intake. This leads to weight loss over the duration of the treatment. While it can contribute to a reduction in abdominal fat, the effects are generally more systemic rather than focused solely on the stomach area. Learn more: www.nairobibariatric.co.ke
