- In this video we installed a set of Fahren L.E.D headlights from Amazon also installed a leveling kit to bring the front end up and solve the terrible visibility problems with these body style trucks. Huge difference and big improvement, highly recommended the l.e.d. headlight upgrade. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. Thanks for watching.

Wish we coulda seen you actually place the bulbs in lol
Huge difference. I have a 2014 and I get alot of folks flashing their lights at me, thinking that I'm on high beam when I'm not. I'm also running the fog lamps. My truck is leveled out so that may be why. Thanks for the video.
Hey man, I actually swapped for led headlights. There’s a little hole right behind the headlight housing, ccw to raise beam cut off, and cw to lower beam cutoff. Adjusted so that I don’t shine directly at driver, just enough to get the hotspot in my lane.
?? How they do in the rain !??
Pretty good
Big difference between LED, I also need some bodywork done soon...I will try and get with you.
Sounds good buddy
Those headlight assemblies are the wrong ones for that truck. If it's a real High Country. It should have projector headlights. Proper headlight alignment is also key. The LT and work trucks have those headlights in them. And the 2016+ trucks are hid for the LT and full LED for the ltz and high country trucks.
Yes. I figured out that it had been wrecked before actually. Whatever shop did it last stuck those crap ones in it
Is this "upgrade" to LED bulbs and the lift kit going to blind drivers headed in the opposite direction?
Probably
@@bpbrestorations2093 🤣🤣 I drive around with my hand hovering over the fog light switch at night just wanting to blind someone bc people always bright light me when I’m on low beams
Great video. I'm replacing my 2014 Silverado's headlights with Fahren Termitors. I found your video looking for tutorials on replacing mine. I'm feeling slightly silly that I didn't think about the fact that I have 2 sets of bulbs. To clarify, did you use Forscher H11s for low and high or the HB3s for high?
H11 low hb3 high I'm pretty certain
@@bpbrestorations2093 OK. Thank you.
Any issues with anything overheating inside the casing? The chip thing or the fan not being able to breathe?
So far so good
I put the Terminator leds from Fahren in my buddy's 2014 Silverado and he said he lost his auto lights option? Any ideas why? Actually it was his DRLs he just told me.
No, I have not heard of that one yet.
@@bpbrestorations2093 it was his DRLs he said. Not the auto lights. Either way...not happy about it.
I just know that their higher watts leds can't work with daytime light
Great video! I just recently put these in my 2014 Chevy Silverado but having issues the low beams will just completely shut off any ideas on what the issue could be? No flickering no warning lights or error codes they just shut off.
Pretty sure you have a bad set of low beams. Maybe contact the Manufacturer for a replacement
how do you know which led is low beam and high beam?
H11/h9/h8 low beam, hb3/9005 high beams each bulb will be clearly marked.
Just added these to my 2014 sierra. Caused my engine light to come on. Any thoughts on why?
Did you take out the airbox to put them in? Or unplug anything extra like the MAF? Or did you take the grill out and remove headlights that way?
@@bpbrestorations2093 I removed the air box and unplugged the sensor attached to the air box. Could unplugging that sensor trigger the engine light?
@@brettbodechon2970 yes, that's more than likely what done it. It may reset on its own or may need a scanner to do it. But should reset after a couple days of normal driving.
