Great video, I love the 6 light mod. One thing that would have been even nicer is if he had done a video after buffing the lenses like he said he did but with halogen bulbs (would have to be newer, they loose output as they age) and then do this comparison. You could then see a direct difference at the same time. I admit, these doo look good especially with reflector lenses at that, I found that led bulbs in general, while they have a great light output up close, the actual throw distance of the beam was A LOT less then that of a halogen. I used to find also, while driving in snow or rain that the led's made it harder to see as the excess light would reflect and illuminate the precipitation. Still, I've been contemplating trying a set of these for what they cost just to see if have the same issues now that I have projector lenses.
On my 06 sierra just installed new led highs and lows and the left one doesnt seem as bright but also have always had this problem with last leds do you know what it could be ?
The chip I have linked in the description should work for 03-07 Classico gm truck including tahoes/Yukons. Check out the fuse box configuration in the Amazon description to verify and/or the QA.
Hello bro , quick question by any chance do you have the link where you bought the fog lights I am really interested in getting a pair they look like their super bright 🙌🏻 thank you , hope you can get back to me
Hey bud, it's been a long time since I instead the LED in the fog light housing. So check this out. GM calls for a H10 bulb size for the 03-06 chevy pick up truck on the fog lights. What I did was used a 9005 LED bulb instead. At first when I put them in, the bulb sit loose in the housing until I took of the o-ring that came with the LED bulb and replaced it with the the o-ring from the factory H10 bulb. What I would advise you to do is first test it out with a regular halogen 9005 bulb. If it fits great, proceed with the LED bulb. I think this is the LED bulb I used. www.amazon.com/Fahren-Headlight-Headlights-Conversion-Waterproof/dp/B07NPMMNR3/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?keywords=fahren+9005+led&qid=1673815495&s=automotive&sr=1-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFDMDA5NkxSV0tNM08mZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA4NzQ0ODBKV0pOQVRHWlNGMkomZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMDM0MTc1MDNLMFFCVzRFVjRJMksmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
Hey bud, I was able to place the bulb in at about 15-20 degree angle into the housing and then turn it to lock in place in the vertical position. If you are having trouble try to rotate the bulb and try with the next set of tabs on the bulb and see if it fits. Ultimately, if you still can’t get the bulb in the vertical position, I believe there are some screws which you can take off on the back of the headlight housing that will allow you to rotate the plate with the tab opening. Turn it so that when you slide in the bulb and twist, it lines up in the vertical position.
Hi James, I adjust the headlights by turning the screw, thats really the only adjustment I made. There’s a few videos on YT on how to do that. I’ll link one below. Besides that, I just made sure that the long side of the bulb was vertical (as mentioned in the video). Now I will say that I have the all on 6 mod so that makes a big difference. Without it, low beams and fogs turn off when you flip on the high means. I also have LEDs on the fogs and that tends to go shine more light than the low beams (I was able to fit a 9005 bulb with a slight modification). I usually always turn on the dogs with the low beams. ruclips.net/video/yyOn86Uz05k/видео.html
@@jamessomething5065 yes, refer to 5min mark in the video. Idk if that’s really going to make a difference. I will say that on the low beam side, there is a cover inside of the headlight that somewhat covers up the bulb compared to the high beam side that doesn’t have that (and also fogs).

The best! Haha I enjoyed this video a lot.
How are the 9005? Are they still working 2 years later?
Yes absolutely are. actually all of them, fog lights, low beams and high beams, they are all fahren leds .

GREAT VIDEO
i tried putting on both the low beam and high beam on my camry and man was it a fuqin pain
Would the chip mod work on other gm trucks such as Tahoe and Yukons?

Great for blinding

Hey there! Are you interested in Chevy lighting set sponsorship?
You should sponsor me I’ll do a review and everything
I have a TikTok with about 1.3k followers
How did you adjust them? I bought the same lights as you but my low beams don’t seem to be as bright and neither are my highs. I have a 04 avalanche.

@@LosSS I bought the all 6 mode same as you. Do you mean by vertical as in the led at 12/6 instead of 9/3?

@@LosSS okay thank you!
Glad u adjusted your lights. A lot of these idiots that drive trucks just put them on and drive and blind the shit out of people on the road
I was enjoying the video until you turn your high beam LED on 😎🫣
haha, its crazy how bright it is when all 6 led bulbs on. Works great for when I'm on some of these back roads.
Would u recommend them ? Are they still working good Any other brands u have tried as good as this Brightness
@@nolannsautodetail5468 yes I would recommend this brand. An alternative would be Auxbeam, but so far I like these more.
@@LosSS Thank you so much for quick response. Happy thanks giving. :)
