I watched your first video in 2015, right after i decided that I would start taking art seriously instead of endlessly copying doodle pages off Pinterest in my moleskine book. Your videos motivated me to keep practicing. Since then, you continue to inspire me. Fast forward to now, i applied to art schools last year, and i am waiting to get started in this industry.
A 7 minute video could prompt someone's 7 year art journey. Your personality is contagious, and your art is so inspiring.
One day, i hope to have one of your works framed in my place, bought with my own earnings from an art career.

You can just study anatomy and coöor theory throughly for a month and then do it with watercolor and you will be surprised how much one can achieve with a month of focused practice, you wont get as good as he is now though

I always loved his artworks .The way it flows along the page. I have come across beautiful artworks by others but I always felts that there is a soul in his works.That end music is always beautiful.I know it's the same but I crave for it . I started doing watercolor a few weeks ago now and I've done 15 watercolor paintings I think so far. I was struggling with it too but I think I got the general idea down after I attempted to just flat out copy this particular painting. I uploaded it to my DeviantArt, which I made a few days ago now.
Actually, one of the first watercolor tutorials I seen was kelogsloops a few weeks ago but I didn't actually look at his other videos or channel 'til a few days ago and found out he made amazing artwork too.
After a long long time, we get a new video. This is special!

Thank you for your awesome painting upload! And thank you for saying to make more art because it's been more than 5 months seen I have last painted something. I lost my motivation to paint anything. Even though I get motivated, I can't seem to lay down my imaginary art into a blank paper. Even though I did, I would just never go back to it. And overall just feel very loss on making art. you have no idea how comforting it is to hear an artist post their first piece around the end of February. More often than not, artists will get immersed into their art as soon as the year kicks in and it can make amateur artists like me feel bad for not creating enough
Might I just say how pleasing it is to watch your vids, hope to get to see you paint more wonderful pieces in the future... god so inspiring!
A few years late from when you posted this video, but your comment of making original characters and their backstories reminded me of how much I also liked doing that. I found that a really enjoyable way to do this, while also spending time with friends is table top RPGs, like D&D. Maybe you've participated before, but if you haven't I really, REALLY recommend you take a look. Maybe participate in a one-shot. It is also a very nice source of inspiration.
And, of course, your art is beautiful.

Character art is definitely something that has personally kept my passion in art. To be able to portray a character a certain way, or a certain scene and have the viewer *feel* that in some way? I love that. I’ve just recently gotten into water colors and this is definitely making me want to get more confident with making detailed works with water color! I cannot wait to see some more stuff

I've been watching your videos for 5 years now. your watercolor paintings have influenced me ever since! When I started watching your videos I really wanted to make paintings like you. I think now I have a slightly different taste in what I like to create but your work is still incredibly inspiring for me. I'm trying to get a Bachelors in Art, that is hoping I can successfully land an art scholarship and admission to the college! Your paintings and sketchbook videos made me fall in love with art again, especially when I was scared of not being able to make a living. Thank you for posting and sharing your art.
