    I didn't understand my chemistry teacher the entire year. It's 10 Oct 2021, my chemistry exam worth 60% of my grade is tomorrow. Currently, it is 5.43pm and I'm binge-watching your videos in hopes of passing tomorrow's exam. Wish me luck.

    22:30 for diamond when you draw the lattice, you can observe that as much as you add C atom there will still to add more because we need to full the outer shell, my question , there will be always a terminal C atom with loose bond?
    for example the chain of Alkanes is CH3CH2CH3, you see it is locked with CH3 ,but in Diamond we can not stop adding C because as much as you add there will still loose bonds 😎

    why is it that some elements make different ions e.g iron can be Fe2+ and it can also be Fe3+?

      Transition metals can do that, because their electronic configuration is more complex than groups 1-8 :)
