ok im not sure we need to go that far..... shauns the GOAT. this guys super helpful and makes it amazingly concise and really helped with biology, but shaun got my grade from a low 5 to an 8, 1 mark off a 9 in 2 months with physics. i will always stay loyal to him.

I remember sitting the GCSE exams in 2011, completely unaware of the maths sections that would be required. I feel as though my teacher didn't quite prepare us for the exams, as most of the class (highest group in science!) got fairly rubbish results on the higher papers. Now, I have to resit the exams to get into university! For anyone that may want to get into dentistry or medicine, universities will look at your Biology and Chemistry GCSEs even if you got A or A* at A level. It's very annoying.

Just remember guys, in paper chromatography, often what's used is ethanol to separate ink rather than water but both cna be used!

I have never felt so useless and dumb in my life till after watching this video. I am a grade 7,8 and 9 student in year 10 and I have been revising but wanted to watch a quick summary. @@car4367 id rate it as pretty poor, however, it helps if i get a sheet of paper and write down notes on the video, because writing helps me remain focused on the information given to me, and i can then use these notes later to revise

@@Tj-dn4nq I had a triple science one so it may be different- but REVISE THE PERIODIC TABLE!! It will definitely help! Revise half equations, standard form and any important practical lessons (eg distillation and crystallisation) honestly that’s all I can remember! Sorry! I hope it helps!

When talking about atoms wanting to get a full outer shell, what do we use instead of want?
It's the 'want' bit we don't write. Instead, something like they require a full outer shell, or rather when they bond, it is always to achieve a full outer shell.

in the y11 mocks chemistry was my worst science, and even though i got a 9 in biology and a 7 in physics, my overall grade was a 66 because i only got a 4/5 (don’t remember which) in chemistry. hoping i can bring my chem grade up to a 7 this time around !!

How is this going to benefit me in the real world?
Your exams are just a big IQ test, except the subjects that you'll work in
U need money, and how do you get money? You get it through a job. The amount of money you earn depends on what job you get (if its really good or really bad). In order to get a good job you will need to have gotten a good score on your gcses and alevels. Depressing but that's the only way.
These are useful in chemistry unlike english literature anf english gcse
