- Daniel Simmons, who has a passion for running, just graduated from American Fork High.
That passion has helped Simmons to become one of Utah's greatest high school distance runners. He broke a dozen state records, as well as several national marks and signed to run for BYU - after he serves a church mission.
"He's a generational talent - for sure," said BYU track and field coach Ed Eyestone.
Simmons talks about his career and how he's so close to breaking the four-minute mile, and how his faith affects everything in his life. Спорт
I feel the Spirit every time I hear him talk. Some day he will be a great motivational speaker. He has the voice to do it, and the personality to also be a great coach!
First time hearing of this guy. Amazing. I hope he has just as much success, or more, as many of his BYU alumni.
I bet he could’ve broken 4 at NBNO, but they moved the 3200 because of rain so he had to do both within 12 hours. Still he’s had an amazing high school career
Does anybody know where he will be serving his mission?

@@cybertruckman634it isn’t for everyone but it is for many. Each person gets to decide for him or herself. That’s the beauty of it all. So for many, God and the Church of Jeses Christ of Latter-day Saints is what it states. For others it isn’t.
CES letter!
Went through it. Not impressed.
@@tylerahlstrom4553 of course you’re not impressed! It doesn’t confirm your bias that the church is what it claims to be
Take your hate somewhere else. If you're not celebrating this incredible athlete, stay away.
