The Ordinary makes unscented products, so shouldn't that immediately make it 5 stars? Do you expect them to put fragrance in it to make it smell better? Unscented is always better and preferred. I disagree with your judging of "smell" on these products...
Well, in his defense, he never mentioned that smell would affect the functionality of the products and indicate that good smell would be better. I’m sure he only meant to share with the viewers what kind of smell u would expect when buying this product.
Unscentes isn´t always better. This is a social media myth. Fragrance is very well tested in industry. Some people is allergic, but saying fragrance is always irritant is fearmongering. Also. fragrance is one of the most expensive ingredients, thats the main reason The Ordinary avoids it, to keep the final price of the products low.
@@SusuToTheBone not sure where you get your "facts" from, but they are incorrect. In addition, why would anyone want fragrance in something you put on your face? Especially if you are using several products with different scents.
@@SusuToTheBone Yeah, so then dermatologist don't know what they talking about. It's a skin irritant. Research
just bc it's unscented doesn't make it 5 stars lol, just let the guy do what he thinks is right. there's no right and wrong, why would u judge. give the products scents 5 stars yourself!
Niacinamide has honestly saved my skin. My skin used to be red and inflamed,a lot of pimples both with a white head and under the skin as well as my forehead was covered I mean covered in tiny bumps you couldn’t see unless in the sun and it would get so itchy. My pores were very large and I would get alot of seabum coming out especially on my chin and blackheads. My skin was very dry and acne prone. My skin now is almost perfectly clear with very little texture and no where near as dry. My forehead doesn’t have those bumps either 😁 It’s so interesting to here people don’t have the same affect
That sounds amazing. Do you know how long it took for you to see the first results?
😢
After a months of giving birth i tried also using niacinamide as i gorktba lot of break outs during pregnancy after 2-3 months using i sa the result, really menimize tge pores and the texture of my skin
Same hereee. It gives good result in my skin.
you described me lol, what is your routine?
I love your videos!!! Very educational and i enjoyed very much. I wanted to ask you what do you think about the ordinary Glycolid Acid? I've been using it for a few weeks but i haven't seen any result yet...i heard that glycolic acid is good for acne scars and dark spots so i just wonder what's your opinion on the product?
Thank you so so much Doctor for your generous heart ♥️ I am so so appreciate everything you share to us we all love it 😍 A man A man A man god bless you all
I LOVE♥ the smell of their products. It is somehow natural. I dont like typical smell of drugstore products. The Ordinary saved my life, because I have sensitive skin and I can pick ingredients I need.
I started using Primark’s niacinamide at 10% with zinc and hyaluronic acid serum and my skin looks and feels so good. I have The Ordinary’s brand in my cabinet but since it doesn’t have the hyaluronic acid, I find it a bit irritating so I have to use it with a face cream with HA in it at night. Based upon your explanation of what the caffeine serum does, I am definitely going to get some. Thanks 😊
My skin doesnt like niacinamide.I get major breakout and skin irritation. Now im using Glycolic Acid and Retino 1% In Squaline alternately every other day.I use AHA+BHA peeling solution once a week. After 5 months of this regimen continously,im proud to say im acne free,my deep rolling/pitted scar reduced by 60%,my skin smooth, bright and glowing. Its completely change my skin thus my appereance.
So happy to hear that Dr recommend the Caffeine + EGCG for face as well🥳 If something can put under your eyes, you can put it on your face too and usually formulation for under eyes is gentler
have you tried it? does it work for your eyes? bcs some people said it doesn’t work
@@nurathiahalia2372 i have not tried it.. but from what I know, the caffeine solution only work best for puffiness. Dark eye circles can depends because some people has hereditary dark eyes circles, meaning it's genetics, cannot be fixed by a product. Or dark eye circle because of the cast of shadow due hollowness of bone structure around the eyes also cannot be fixed.
@@TanYuanHeng been using it for 2 months and I can’t tell I don’t even notice if my eyes are puffy but my circles are hereditary a 100% which explains why I still have them
Make up for the rest of my life or until I stop caring
Thank you for this. I would love a video regarding The Ordinary's Vitamin C.
I've been using lots of Ordinary products. They were recommended by another age 50+ youtuber.
I literally just messaged The Ordinary to find a regimen for MY own skin. I hope to hear from them tomorrow.
Your videos came at perfect timing.
Thank you, and be well
Oh wow I wonder if they responded to you. I agree with your statement and that's pretty awesome I would Love to have that opportunity
@@hfrt29 No response. Thanks!
Please make a video on the ordinary retinoid and retinol products 🙏❤️
Thank you! If you haven’t already please review their peptide serums!
Thank you so much Dr Ingky 😊❤️💐🙌
So informative- thank you! Can you review the buffet serum?
love this review!!
I would like a combat between Retinol in Squalane VS Granactive Retinol from The Ordinary
Thank you doc. Very informative
Fabulous video. Thank you.❤
Never mind Dr. , I've found your explanation about Retinol at 5:48 ❤️ TQ! Btw, new subscriber here!😍
Hello Dr. Ingky, Thank you for sharing. You’re informative and helpful. Do you think I can use both the Retinol 1% and Caffeine 5% at the same time?
Hi Dr skynFyx, I love your video, very informative, you explain it very clearly, can you discuss the rest of ordinary products, like Buffet, Matrixyl 10% HA,, Argireline Solution 10% and Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. If i have the right serum for my skin. Thanks
I got the hyaluronic acid and the alpha Arbutin. They worked great for my skin, cleared my acne and gave a glowy look but was making my face darker and gave me dark under eyes. I had to stop.
Great! Your video really helps me find what's suitable for my skin. Very informative
You are welcome
Thank you very much for the nice info..👏👏👏
I guess the Niacinamide serum works differently for everyone but it work wonders for me. I noticed that it helps a lot with my skin texture. I also use it whenever I have pimples so that it'll go away faster since it is a bit drying and I have oily skin back then. Though, my skincare is more moisturizing focus now and I don't have much pimple as before, so using the Niacinamide serum is a bit redundant now haha. I still use it if there's pimples on my face though just not as much as before.
Agreed. It’s important that we always take our skin’s feelings into consideration. It helped treat my oily skin and smoothen my skin texture, but I wouldn’t use it as often now that my skin is less oily, just to avoid the irritation

Dr mention it could not be used for longer term. Yeahh it’s great at first than I used more than 2 years it’s make my skin worse. Than I change the product
It works for me too. I always make sure I was not out of stock because it is THAT important to me.
For a lot it's literally burn the skin and create 'more acne, for me it's doing le that too :/
Dr. Iove your videos especially your honesty uncommon on this platform. I am confused by the term skin doctor are you in fact a dermatologist?
Thank you for the informative video. But I think the Niacinamide works for me. It reduced my acne and removed my blemishes or acne scars. I guess it works for some people. It’s worth the try though.
Hi you used the ordinary niacinamide?
My skin breaks out with squalane products. I prefer TO’s 2% granactive retinoid emulsion, great option for dry-sensitive skin type. I’d like to see your take on the emulsion.
I do use Hydroquinone occasionally mixed with Tretinoin. Alpha Arbutin did nothing for me. I’ve tried Azaelic Acid too for pigmentation, but for me, HQ, used infrequently, only when needed works the best. Always use SPF50
Hi thank you very much for the information that you have given. How do we layering skin care product on our face for combination skin or dry skin.
Doctor pls review all the ordinary serum, mask and cleanser!!!🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
I have to give Niacinamide an 5/5! It gave me such smooth skin, reduced redness, balanced my skin tone, reduced my pore size. I have received so many compliments since starting using it. Definitely depends on the person
Did your skin purge at first when you started? If you did how long and how did you manage them? I'd really love to know.
No, maybe because my skin is not sensitive. You should patch test!
Uv no idea dr how much ur explanation means to us.
Pls give review about the Ordinary Vitamin C & Suspension 23 HA
The caffeine eye serum is great at reducing puffiness (I also love putting it all over my face in the morning), but it also made my dark eye circles worse. After trying quite a few other serums by the ordinary (niacinamide [did nothing] hyaluronic acid [meh] retinol 0.5) their buffet showed the best results (in terms of keeping my skin supple & hydrated all day).
Instead I’ve turned to Niod’s products, also under Deciem - which are amazing! Their eye contour concentrate & CAIS is a life saver.
woah. Is that true? I'm honestly dealing with dark circles, so I'm still looking for a solution.
@@arvocade8346 the product is great...it can't solve the problem of dark circles, but it reduces the appearance of bags and puffiness in that region
Hi Dr.. im using The ordinary products, Gycolic acid 7% tonibg solution, Niacinamide 10%+Zinc1%, Buffet peptide serum,Ascorbic acid 8% Alpha arbutin 2% and Peeling solution.. i got this hyperpigmentation for a decade now but after i use all that products that i mention my pigmentation become lighter been using it for about 6 months.. Is there any products that my hyperpigmentation go away? Thanks alot and more power
Have you been wearing sunscreen too when you are using these products
Hello Dr. Is it advisable to mix arbutin with your daily body cream?
Thank for ur advice
Hi could you please add a comparison of the ordinary retinol in squalene with the ordinary retinol emulsion product - e.g. effectiveness, %, emulsion vs oil?
Hi,what is the best cream , serum ,& toner for Hyperpigmentation? Thank you
I started using the caffeine solution last year and it actually helped lessen the appearance of my dark circles (especially when combined with a brightening under eye cream).
Akiko which brightening cream did u use ..May I ask ..?
I think that stuff sucks
Hi from Italy....I like your's video ...are very interesting!!
I have a question...for oily skin with acne which retinol product you can recommend?
Thank you!!
Ciao! For oily acne prone skin, do try Paula's Choice 1% Retinol or Skinceutical Retinol 1%.
@@Skynfyx Thank you so much!!
Hi doctor, which ordinary retinol best suit oily skin, for night use?
Hi Doc, which ordinary product can I use to clear dark spots caused by acne
Could you pls make review on NIOD?
Thanks Doc. So true about the niacinamide, it made me breakout, and I sadly still have 3 bottles left!! The percentage is far too high!! Such a waste!! Thanks for the information, really enjoy your posts!! 😊👍🏼
Thanks for sharing!!
May i know.. ur skin type?
start with a smaller percentage and buildup , there’s no need to throw it away
Thank you so much for all you education. Our dermatologists don’t have time to educate us on all the skincare products.
You are welcome
Did a niacinamide and zinc serum are better used with a moisturizer after?
Because i noticed for me, i used it alone at base and it's created me like more acne :/ (?)
So did it mean niacinamide isn't for me :(?..
Thanks dr.
Can the ordinary retinol be used under the eyes? For sunken eyes?. And I read that it helps with dark lips . Is it true?

Hello

Niacinamide was revolutionary for my acne prone skin. My skin is better now in every way and so I rate the serum 4.5 out of 5 😍😍 or maybe it's because I am African.
How long does you take to clear your acne prone skin when you use the niacinamide ?🥰
I saw results in 2 weeks
same here, niacinamide and retinol have been my holy grails to clear my skin up. I noticed that my skin is less oily, smoother than lighten up dark spots a lot. I have been using them for the past year. I haven't had any reactions or irritations so I guess I'm just lucky haha
Niacinamide effectiveness for me is 4 out of 5. Lovin' the effect to my skin 😍, anyway thanks for the detailed review though. 👍👍 Keep it up!
I like the ordinary retinol n niacinamide. It actually fix my acne problem

When I'm using the Caffe Solution, the yellow liquid does stain a little on my finger nails. As Im using the product every night, the stain seems like doesn't have chance to go off. Im wondering if the solution is kind real or fake. Can you advise on this? TIA.
1st there are no product in the world to change face by useing overnight.
If u really want to work is it your skin u must be use long time but make sure its authentic.
And authentic product dont work 99% coz they dont use any side effects ingredient.
Only those product work thats have side effects.(dont Forget it)
Doc, can i use the ordinary HA 2% + B5 and alpha arbutin + HA together? And can you suggest what ingredients can be use to get rid tiny bumps or fungal acne?
Since no one else seems to be answering, try using Salicylic acid, preferably in a leave on product like a serum or toner. Also, Hyaluronic acid is okay to use with any product as long as you aren't in a dry environment.
pls review oxithion and nanoMD
I use Thayer’s facial toner of witch hazel and rose petals and splash it on my face.
Hi Doctor, how would I apply the alpha Arbutin with Adapalene Gel? Any response would be appreciated. Thank you

Please review ordinary glycolic acid
Doctor , kulit tidak sekata, product apa yang sesuai ya?
Can retinol treat acne ? Or acne prone skin?
It you can't tolerate oil on your face, don't buy The Ordinary Retinol in Squalane (anhydrous solution). You won't enjoy using it, so compliance will be an issue...waste of money. I have dry skin, but when I used a few drops of it, it felt like applying cooking oil. It didn't feel nice at all. I just mixed it with moisturizer and used it at the back of my hands and neck.
Too bad. I love it. My skin never been better.
Yeah i feel you...but its really effective for my skin...that's why i only apply it during before i sleep cause its make my skin appearance oily...but when i washed my skin in morning i feel my skin is better
dr, the ordinary retinol can be used only for 3 months right? is it okay if we still use it even after 3 month?

Dr. Inky, please make a review of S.H.O. product.
Which product can I see their niacinamide?? Since this one is too high in percentage
Retinol by the ordinary where i can buy the original one??
The niacinamide is always my go to skincare product whenever my skin misbehave. I usually settled with nothing but the ordinary niacinamide for a week then my skin start to behave!
I’ve had amazing results with the niacinamide, and I’m 62 years old. My pores have diminished, and I hardly have any texture at all.
Niacinamide is a great ingredient
How do i buy this product?.. i want to keep it original and not some fake product they claim online?
