  • Most people cook this dish using pork, shrimps and chicharon, I don't. I use tinapa flakes and bitter melon leaves instead
    INGREDIENTS:
    1 1/2 cups monggo (mung beans)
    1/3 cup flaked smoked scad (tinapang galunggong)
    1 big tomato sliced or chopped
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    1/2 cup chopped onions
    1 to 2 pieces Knorr chicken cubes
    salt or fish sauce to taste
    bitter melon leaves (amlay or dahon ng ampalaya)
    canola or vegetable oil for sauteeing
    water
