- Today we dive into legendary English rock band Oasis. "Rock 'n' Roll Star" is the opening track from their debut studio album DEFINITELY MAYBE released in August 1994. This Live by the Sea version was filmed at Cliffs Pavilion on April 17 1995.
What Do Ya'll Think !?
liam jumping around would look wrong😂 looks way cooler standing still, he dont have to make up for anything by dancing like a fool.
Liam just stands there and still fills the stage
This concert is one of their best (imo). This is Oasis at their raw best.
My favourite song from this concert is Slide Away.
I watched this gig 'Video' over and over when I was teenager in the 90s, great times.
How can you think it’s better if Liam was moving around like an idiot?
Mental that people think Liam needs to move. He’s not a dancing puppet.
I don't really care what that guy has to say. He clearly doesn't know anything about music. In almost every video that he is in, he mentions GnR, I'm sure that's the only band he knows.
What a belter "rock n roll starrrrr" 🇬🇧 👍
"Jake welcome to the party man"
This band in the UK between 95-98 were as big as the Beatles. Songs like this made millions save up to buy a guitar. Great times, this band changed my life and most of my mates, they gave us belief that life is there for the taking. Cant tell you the impact on british culture. They are still the biggest britsih band alive, and they broke up 15 years ago!! In the UK its still OASIS, COLDPLAY and U2
Liam Gallagher is the greatest rock n roll frontman in the entire history of the world✌️🏴
He's too fun to disagree. I love Oasis, and Liam, love Noel too but Liam has that entertainment factor
Certainly a good opening for a debate! He’s no Gary Glitter though!
He's no Freddie
@@jackdelaney3285 He’s superior to Freddie. So true.
No front man is superior to Freddie..
Hot my ticket for the hydro in Glasgow
Liam doing it solo, the full definitely maybe album
Absolutely buzzing, get me a time machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Southend is my home county. That auditorium holds about 1,600 people. That concert was just before they started playing huge venues.
Try ‘bring it all down’ from gleneagales 1994. Another early historic gig
Best opening track on an LP ever
Please react to acquiesce or live forever from Maine road 96 or my big mouth from Knebworth 2nd night next
Or if you want to hear them stripped back listen to the mtv acoustic version of live forever instead
Told you Oasis is better when you react to them live.
The whole point of Oasis is to stand and deliver rock 'n roll music while the crowd goes "Mad fer it"
Mad Manchester City fans as well. Never seen American rock? It’s based on the Beatle’s who were from Liverpool. So called American rock is based on the UK invasion of the 60s and 70s.
All the great bands and tendencies came from the UK no even close in other regions
Liam doesn't need to move to fill a stage 😉
btw the guy with the kiss shirt saying about liam not moving, why do american bands and rap artists all do a forced and fake head bopping? the rappers all wave their hands low and the USA bands jump about. oasis arent just a band of loud electric guitars, head bopping and crowd surfing like every american band. Oasis dont need to do that, cos their melodies are anthems. american bands and rappers seem to put on a fake energy. In rehearsals, i can just imagine them saying "right at the point he plays the lead, the rest of you have to put ur wigs on and jump up and down. Then the next song, do the same thing but only on the bridge. JUST GIVE US A MELODY and you wont need to wear black and grow a daft beard to pretend your a maverick"
He didn't need to move. Let the songs and voice do the talking etc.
Young lads a muppet

I think you guys would buzz of this one as yous seem to prefer the more up tempo Oasis rockers! Love the channel guys 🤟
Oasis "very nice, very nice". Lol. Love em or hate em they are not nice.
So true, Lol. Part of the appeal though
"...sounded very American classic rock..."
My dude, all your American classic rock bands were influenced by Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Two British bands. 😁
What even is this American classic rock sound? To my knowledge, all classic rock has a very similar sound. If not identical
