Worth reacting to this song when they did it on Top of the Pops. TOTP was a hugely popular pop music show over here but they mostly made everyone mime on it, so as Liam's vocals were being pumped out of the speakers for Roll With It, Noel was on stage miming it with Liam pretending to play guitar.
It truly puzzles me how the crowd size surprises you both surely the US concerts must be heaving you have so so many more people than the U.K. to attend them

fucking hell I aint watched vids from Wembley for years.... I was there and it was crazy..... 21 years ago that feels like yesterday, went to the gig at the new Wembley stadium as well with kasabian supporting, it was good but nothing like this one, just standing on the pitch at the old Wembley stadium gave you enough chills alone

you wouldn't believe how hard it was to get tickets to oasis gigs back then, i managed to go to a few wembley arena twice, wembley stadium, milton keynes bowl, earls court (the verve was the support act, finsbury park in the mosh pit and absolutely soaked in beer. also seen noel at wembley arena union chapel ( only 500 people at that gig), and the royal albert hall 3 times

The Famous Oasis V Blur Song that was released on the same day as Blurs Country House. It was a Media Storm frenzy who would get to number 1. Blur came out top with Country house and a great song to react too the Video is awesome. I've never seen anything like ot in pop history it caused uproar between the North of England and the South. It wasn't long after Blur had Cleaned up at the Brit Awards but eventually Damon Albarn started other Project's like With the Gorliaz and Blur faded early 2000s and Oasis carried on for another good 10 years
In British live music culture throwing “beer” around when shit gets crazy is a staple and just part of the experience. I put “beer” in quotations because 9 times out of 10 it’s piss that’s being thrown - people just piss in their beer cups as trying to navigate through the crowds to get to the toilets just isn’t feasible 🍺😎

Doves and Happy Mondays were the support bands ...the gates opened at 4pm and people had been queing outside from 9am. We were in it.

Two things that struck me at my first Oasis gig:-
1. The aura of Liam just stood on the stage, motionless being just fucking biblical.
2. Lots of piss
