It’s hard for you guys to imagine how big these guys were in the uk in the 90s, they changed music culture and even infused a bit of politics, they were MASSIVE, never off the news and music tv. What a time it was😀😀
They were voted the band of the 90s
I miss 1995
Amzing great english band. Couple of years earler The Wildhearts great rovk n roll band should be all over these reaction channels
@@letthetruthdothetalking5218 every single member was Irish, not a drop of English blood in them. "We had the music. From my point of view you have to try that bit harder being Irish, you’ve got to dig deep because everything revolves around England. My mates, the lads that were English had everything on a plate.” - Liam Gallagher
@@chriswhamilton true they are irish
Maine Road was the home of Manchester City football team, which is the team that Liam and Noel support
And as a United fan, it was so hard to go to that ground but watching Oasis at their best there in the 90s was amazing
Saw Springsteen there and its huge!
@@martinotoole9959 well it was until they demolished it in 2003. Seen a few gigs at the etihad but the acoustics are terrible
@@steamwillrise your right, but you make the best of it on the night. Or go to the Albert hall and see the band there if your connected enough to get a ticket. Sometimes you have to settle for what you get Kev!
@@steamwillrise Kev my apologies. I stand corrected. I saw the boss at the etihad stadium.
Liam actually found that umbro track suit backstage right before he went on and stole it lol
Didn't know this, always loved when he points at the logo, suppose he was saying "this is mine now"
Iconic.
I've still got mine 25years later, bought about 3 weeks after the gig in a leeds sports shop 👍
@@benjaminlewington6627 it goes for a lot of money online
@@masonmennell8514 really ? They reissued them last year thro pretty green, but with the pg logo I saw a guy in one last month so I dug mine out and wore it haha
Honestly guys the supersonic documentary is a must watch. Will answer so many questions and show just how big oasis really were in the 90s and early 2000s over here in the U.K. the need for them to get back together just grows every year
come on feel the noize from this gig was insane
Yes!!!
Definitely agree, sure did feel the noize!!!
Absolutely
and noddy was there to see it!
not as good as slade's original though.
I like how everyone who is discovering / watching an Oasis live top period is amazed in the first place by Liam's voice or attitude, he's the man, the last rock'n'roll legendary frontman, no doubt. Let's not forget that he was like 23 or 24 at this gig, and they were totally unknown a bit more than 2 years before it !
Theres just so many more of their songs you haven't heard that are absolutely amazing, yous are in for a treat over the next few months!
Got a minibus with 12 mates and headed down to Manchester from Glasgow for this gig. Brilliant gig...from what I remember. 🍺
The whole gig is amazing.
React to cast no shadow maine road 96! Probably their best live perfomance!
It's just like going to heaven that version
i second that
Could not agree more!!
Love your reactions mates! by the way Liam from 1994 - 2000 was untouchable. Best rock singer and people still consider him the greatest frontman in music history. Luckily today his voice is back on point again after 2005 - 2013 period (he had Hashimoto's disease, so he suffered lot during that period). But trust me, never saw oasis because they split too soon, but I saw Liam 6 times (3 times in Italy and 3 times in UK) during his solo tour and 5 times Noel's High Flying Birds and they are still incredible. Some advices that you should follow (just for your happiness :D)
- GMEX 1997 Stay Young
- GMEX 1997 Don't Go Away (best ever live performance)
- Maine Road 1996 Cast no Shadow
- Watch the Oasis Documentary
- Champagne Supernova documentary version (in the movie, they explain that Liam was so great, that they needed just one take for like 8 songs of the 10 on the album What's the Story? Morning Glory
Hope that could help you, stay safe mates, best wishes from Italy! :)
I’ve heard this many times and Liam’s voice still gives me goosebumps… wow
Oasis - Round Are Way - Live from the White Room. You’ll love it!
Yes!!!! Liam off his nut!! What a performance by the lads this is
Good to be free from the White room is also just as good
Yeah their harmonising when wrapping the song up was always so good, Columbia, Slide Away, Some Might Say, Be Here Now, and so on and so on
This is one of the most iconic live Oasis performances. Liam sounds incredible as does Noel on the backing vocals. So much attitude and passion with a mega crowd too. Great reaction guys! Would love to see you react to Don't Go Away at GMEX 1997. One of Liam's best ever vocals, full of emotion!
This show is the one I’d want to see y’all react to. Maine Road night 2 baby!
Liam took that tracksuit from the football changing rooms from the stadium before the concert
i was at this concert right in the front section, it was crazy but so much fun!
Swamp Song Maine Road 1st Night! (if possible along with Acquiesce).
dude, back in 1995 they became my favorite band, I picked up a guitar and wanted to be Noel Gallagher, I don't sub very quickly to reaction channels usually because I just find one song I like and I didn't care much for the reaction, but I really enjoy you guys. I subbed after about 2 minutes into the video. I enjoy that you have some musical knowledge and appreciation on a level some reactors that are TOO far out of their element don't have the insight to react to. You all are just cool genuine people, keep doing your thing, I'm going to go watch 3 or 4 more Oasis reactions from you guys.
What a gig and what a performance.
I’ve watched your channel from the start & I love it, I’m kind of jealous of you listening to this for the first time , I love this band to this day and they just blew my head off as a teenager, I was lucky to get tickets for 4 gigs . Still listen to them all the time , they changed a generation in Great Britain 🇬🇧. Keep up the good work
This night is burnt in my memory forever, I even had Liam give me a cheeky grin & wink acknowledging the spliff in my lips........EPIC !!!!
If you wanna see a wild crowd at an Oasis gig, look at "Turn Up The Sun" from The City Of Manchester Stadium. So wild the gig had to be stopped because the safety barrier broke!
11:47 this is so true, his melodies are collectively sung by thousands at soccer games.
No other band had a bigger impact in the 90’s than Oasis. What’s amazing is that this is only around 2 years after they signed their first record deal. Playing to a full capacity crowd at the home ground of the football team they’ve supported all their lives. They must have felt invincible at this point.
Just subscribed recently enjoying the Oasis live reactions!! You guys should also check out Liams Solo material... a good place to start would be "For What It's Worth". OR “Why Me, Why Not” Another band idea to react to would maybe be Augustana... lookin forward to more vids!
This song is their first ever U.K No.1 Single and one of the best songs Noel ever wrote, both lyrically and musically! He said he knew it would be No.1 as soon as he wrote it!
Watch 'Whatever' from this gig and you'll see how they piss each other off.
On this day (24th April) 26 years ago, Some Might Say was released as a single
Liam's umbro training top was one he found at the man city stadium and he nicked it to wear for the show!
Maine Road was the Man City home ground stadium, now Man City's ground is Etihad Stadium, which was first called City of Manchester Stadium before being renamed Etihad, Oasis did a great set of gigs there in 2005 which I was at, check them out please when you get chance they were great. Cheers in advance and thanks again for all your reactions! Lovin how mad for it you're becoming!
Great tune one of my favourites love the lyrics to this tune
Please react to The Swamp Song and Aquiesce from this same gig
This is the best ever performance of their best song.
Liam threw a pork pie and Noel in Paris and that was it, 2009, a dark day. Luckily got my last gig in at Wembley stadium a few weeks before
Love pork pie !!
I would have kept the hat!
Listen to the Stone Roses. One of the biggest influences on Oasis. Going to one of their gigs was the reason Oasis formed a band
Although maybe not a band to listen to live 😅
you guys should hear rockin' chair live in bournemouth, it'll blow you away
Love this song. Also happy to see your channel grow fast
Before the gig liam went on the mooch in the players changing room and found the top he is wearing on stage
Subbed from dublin ireland loving oasis content
Together they were brilliant.
Now solo, they’re both amazing 🤩
Live Forever at Maine Road is awesome
React to Don’t Go Away at Gmex 97 or to Rockin’ Chair
React to shock of the lightning by oasis, the drumming in that song is awesome.
Come on feel the noise live at maine Road 96. Its a cover of a song by Slade
Awsome reaction guys glad you liked it
This was the one. Cheers boys
Daniel is finding out why we love Oasis! He's becoming a fan in real time. Liam's vocals back then were spot on and the whole band was tight. The gigs were epic! Huge crowds jumping up and down and incredible energy from the band. I was lucky enough to catch them at Earls Court in 95" (incredible gig!) and then i caught them in the States a couple times. Biblical band! What a sound they had. Come on, Daniel.......tell me these guys aren't GREAT! I have that Union Jack guitar, btw.......it's an Epiphone Sheraton. Do "Columbia" live from 2001 in Scotland. Another epic tune!
Mid 90's produced good music.. Oasis.. but there was also Blur.. Supergrass. There was also the house/rave scene going on which lead DJ's becoming household names. There was still room for old school metal bands like AC/DC to ply their trade. For some reason I keep reverting back to Noel and Paul Weller rather than the achievements of Oasis as a band
Maine Road best oasis gig ever. You should react to its integrity
You guess need to watch the supersonic documentary. 10/10 incredible watch. Also do rock and roll star, hello, stay Young, headshrinker, let’s all make believe, I am the walrus. The list goes on and on and on
Alright guys don’t normally go for these “react to” videos but really enjoyed that! Well done
Check Out Nothing Lasts Forever By Echo And The Bunnymen, See If You Can Spot Liam's Backing Vocals.
I didn t know if you guys know but after 1999 the oasis line up is a bit different, 1991 till 1999 it was Liam, Noel,Bonehead,Guigsy,Alan-Tony but after that Bonehead and guigsy left and was replaced by Gem Archer and Andy bell. So if you react to anything after 1999 the band will look different
Yeah I agree I love PRS's, got a few in my collection too hehe
The ego's made this whole thing what it was. The best song writer of a generation with the best vocalist of a generation and brothers. The tension made it what it was. I'm so pleased I was there for it. Big love to you guys and remember "it's great to be a blue"
Oasis - Step out - Live @ Wembley 2000
When you go to one of their gigs everyone there knows every word to every song, and we sing every word with them. I went to six gigs including Finsbury park, mk bowl and stadium of light Sunderland. I miss the 90s, such an amazing time.
They’ve both mentioned running into each other at Man City games. They’ve also both been asked, in interviews, about visiting their mom’s house. They give the same answer: “If he’s there, he’s there”.
That is a Manchester City Umbro top , the football club stadium they are playing in . Iconic
Didn’t he steal it back stage 😂😂
Fun fact: 2.5 million people applied for tickets for the two Nebworth gigs they did in '96. They only played 2 nights, but could have filled it 10 nights running.
Guys do Tears by the Stone Roses. John Squire on the guitar will blow you away. Its because of this band that Noel formed Oasis.
Love spreads
Best thing about this gig is that R liam done it in a stolen sweater
5:34 Lmao liam's like " which one of you lucky fuckers is next??" When he was taking a close look at the very front row 😂
Use should react to oasis funny moments they where just proper lads why so many people loved and related to them
My favourite song of all time
!!!!YOU GOTTA DO THIS ONE Fade Away Live from NY 1994!!!!!! You wont be disappointed i guarantee it!!!..
React to Whatever or Live Forever acoustic versions at Mtv Most Wanted 94!
Guys please check out a scottish singer songwriter called Gerry Cinnamon, a few songs to look into is Discoland (Live version)/ Belter (Live version)/ Ghost/ Where We're Going/ Sun Queen. He is really big in the UK & famous for singing in his own accent & still operating without a record label doing it all himself...Legend. A bit of insight to the word "Belter" which is a song title is just a scottish slang term to describe something or someone as amazing or beautiful..... enjoy lads
One of my personal favourite Oasis tracks. A superb song!
Nothing wrong with 90s music some real treasure to be found .
what is wrong with what I said that nobody replies. ah well such is life ❤.
You work for your fathers company? what's his company do?
Yeah my dad stopped talking to his brother years ago as did most of our family but fortunately they now talk
When I saw oasis live was always more like a football crowd than music crowd atmosphere rowdy wise
The Kinks were a sixties band founded by the brothers Ray and Dave Davies. They were similar feuding siblings and were arrested for trying to kill each other on stage at one performance. The conviction meant they weren't allowed into the US so they remained a purely British band...
I love you guys defo dan ... I’m sat here Saturday night watching you guys ....lol love ya
When you guys get a chance Checkout (Beady Eye.) They came about after the Oasis split and was fronted by Liam G.
Headshrinker- cliffs pavilion rock n roll star cliffs pavilion.
decided on the day that i couldn't miss this, set off with just enough money for the train ticket, dodgy ticket and a bottle of vodka! Best concert of my life, i also met my wife of 20 years at Knebworth, but this was better.
I’m sure I am a walrus was performed at this gig with the bootleg Beatles if so you want to see that next
I am loving these oasis videos! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen them. Liam was on a uk chat show recently and said he would reform the oasis for a cool 100 million. He said he only said that because he knew it would never happen!. They were absolutely huge in the uk and on track to be even bigger, but egos got in the way . Such a shame.
About time boys.
Please lads do little by little at the city of Manchester stadium. Its my favourite song of all time. If you love masterplan you will love this.
I was absolutely heartbroken when they split up. So good watching these back
LIVE FOREVER MTV 1994
Love to see you're digging Oasis! Please react to Oasis- Slide Away (Chicago 98), The Verve- Bittersweet Symphony (Glastonbury 2008), The Who- Baba O'Riley (Shepperton Studios)
people that watch a reaction video & moan about people reacting to the video - gotta love 'em
I heard you guys are getting married. I had no idea I thought you were just like best buddies!
🌈 *CONGRATULATIONS!!!* 🌈
Yeah I'm not surprised he's gobbing on stage, I'd be honking up lugies like that if I sang the way he does, must really muller the throat 😂
Been watching a few of your oasis / noel vids and I'm absolutely buzzing. Love that you've picked up on the Liam and Noel harmonies, there's no greater sound on this planet than those two going at it. Apologies if you've had this recommended or you've done it already, but can you please watch the Stand By Me 'acoustic by the pool' version. Harmonies in full effect. Keep up the good work ✊🏻
Just searched, can see you've done it. On the list 😂👍🏻
do '(It's Good) To Be Free' next
It’s bang average
you have to check the lyrics to this song, i love them
Bring it on Down (Live in Chicago 94) next please! ruclips.net/video/yheH2YMO70Y/видео.html
This was our 2nd Oasis gig (Me and 4 of my mates). Our first was at the Tivoli in Buckley 1994 the same week that Definitely maybe was released. Footage of that is hard to find but it is worth digging out for very early angry Liam.
ruclips.net/video/6qqCU0BzsTs/видео.html&ab_channel=OasisMediaArchive Here's some footage from that gig. Someone in the crowd had just thrown a pint glass at Liam sio he stormed off for a while before getting on with the gig. Evan Dando was also there completely wasted.
Let's hear you play some oasis on that PRS acoustic 👍
Favourite song ever!
Can you guys not do music videos? If you can, Falling Down!! Another great one is Don't Go Away from G Mex 97
"Fade away" is worth a listen
Main road is Man city ground! Liam is wearing his famous umbro tracksuit....pale blue..?...Man city colours. Thier home turf. Loving the trip . Love you guys. 🏴🦄
I went to a Liam Gallagher concert in 2018, it was f**king amazing
