I stood next to Liam at a festival a couple of years ago. He was really friendly with everyone who approached him with requests for autographes, selfies or a quick chat.
@@spunkychops1973 Most people who've met him and actually KNOW him describe him as a genuinely nice bloke. He also doesn't have a hypocritical bone in his body. There's no bullshit or double standards.
in the 90s liam was hilarious and often laid back during interviews but into the mid 2000’s he just seemed to be angry 24/7 and most of these clips are from the mid 2000s 😂
Today he is more calm. 2017- and on Liam is a calm, more understandable person IMO.

@@dawnfirth7007 Oh really? Try listening to "Modern Life is Rubbish". Blur were creatively fantastic and created some CLASSICS. I liked Blur a lot (although I favoured Oasis). Of the rivalry, Damon Alburn said "we won the battle but they won the war. They were much more aware of who they were....of their own identity."
Liams accent is super strong, and he doesnt enunciate, so don't feel bad if you don't catch it. Even my mom can't understand him and we live 80 miles from them.

When he is talking to Noel about whether he was singing 'Sally can wait' and is asked what he was singing originally, Liam jokes "Jim'll Fix It". This was an 80's kids tv show in which the now infamous and vile Jimmy Savile made kid's dreams come true. I swear to God! You couldn't write this shit!

It’s all bravado. He’s down to earth and is a bit of a sweetheart these days.

Blur are amazing they just had a rivalry for the top of the charts with Oasis throughout the 90s in the UK. But in general any fan of decent music loved both

@@PJmusic1981 We can argue, but it's a personal preference. Liam's stuff is different in style than Noel's. I love both of them and in my opinion Liam wrote at least as good songs as Noel, just different ones.

When he says "come and visit ya before I blow you up" he means to blow something up as in create a noise, make shit happen, shine a light on it. Like a decent club in the UK someone might say "yeh that club is really blowing up". Thats all he meant. Its a bit like 'kicking off'

you guys should listen to a few Blur songs and then you can start to make an opinion I guess. I would recommend, there's no other way, bang, she's so high, for tomorrow, girls and boys, parklife, country house (which beat roll with it by like 60k copies), stereotypes, the universal, beetlebum and tender. there's probably a few missing but that's all I can think of in my head, also Blur is fine imo. Also for Tender I would do the TCT 2013 which has noel gallagher as well

In the interview which you can't understand what he's saying the interviewer asks why they left Creation Records. Liam jokes it's because Alan McGee (head of Creation) came onto him one night and Liam says "Back it up. I don't do it with people with ginger hair"
