Did you got yours? I also ordered mine 2 weeks ago, it should arrive in one week (Premiere Edition/Launch Edition, I don't know if this edition also exists in UK, its full package with 17" rimes in Tokyo Red Fusion).
@@Nookiezilla I did get mine last month, here in Germany got the middle trim called as Team Germany edition. Got the blue color and 16" wheels. Am very happy with it, no complaints, it's easy and fun to drive. Congratulations.
Im getting old. I started off driving in a 1.3xli starlet... great in a straight line, scary in corners. The kit that drivers get now as standard is unreal. I use to be happy with a tape deck 😃. Great review.
I really like your kind of reviews. Just straight up to the point and closeups of everything. Really enjoy watching it like that. Also, i have the Yaris icon tech 2019 and have to say it looks more spacious than the new one cause it doesn't have the hump in the back between the seats lol. So think they made the new Yaris smaller which i don't like lol
Nice review Mr Nobby. I learned to drive in the predecessor to the Yaris, the Starlet. It was a 1.3L, a great starter car, very easy to drive and had of course Toyota's ubiquitous reliability!
Great review - cant understand why some manufacturers are so mean with USB ports. €18k and nothing in the back. Would it have cost them a tenner to install? or is it a poor excuse for differentiating trim levels?
Thanks for your review! About the noisy AC: You probably could adjust it by switching between Eco, Normal and Fast setting on it. Eco should use the lowest fan speeds in order to save energy. I also think that the max speed for EV mode they're referring to, means the max speed the car can switch engine off at (downhills etc.), not max speed at which you can force it into EV mode with the button.
Around 2:18: It’s good to see the latest one still has a spare (at least, a ‘compact’ spare). I had to use it on my previous model Yaris. The puncture was repairable and it cost £25. Better than a compete replacement of a relatively new tyre!
H'mmm. Don't think the VW Polo, Clio, 208, or Fiesta are going to loose much 'sleep'. Or sales. But a massive improvement over the last Yaris. Good review and flashes of humour! Thank you.
@@NobbyOnCars True! And reliability and resale has to be considered. Not always by the heart, purchase by your head and wallet! Have a friend who has new GR, cannot wait! Roll on end of Lockdown! Thanks again.
DO NOT get the 1 liter version. The hybrid is so much better in every way, and consumes the same amount of fuel, or even less. 100% worth the extra cost.
Made an extensive test drive in both the Yaris and the Jazz. Clearly the best (at least for us): the Honda Jazz! More spacious, quieter, more comfortable. Resting in our garage for a short while now... 😃
@@NobbyOnCars funny you say that I only had it for a year then baby no 2 came along and got something bigger, double buggy filled the boot!! And I seen the car about 8-10 years ago still flying.....
I initially thought this was the GR yaris review then I thought wait, ice already seen your video on that lol. It looks nearly identical. You should have told the Gardai to watch your channel lol.
Nearly sure it's Pearl Ice white from memory and looking at the colour of it. Sorry I dug out the spec sheet of the car in this video and the colour is not on it.
the car can't go past 35/40 kmh in electric but it can glide once you reach any speed with the petrol engine, ofc you need a plain or light descent to do it, this car habitat is the city.
Was never a Toyota fan even though I grew up in Toyota’s. The interior especially the dash imho is bland compared to some of the French models like the 208 for example. Not enough flare about it.

Love these no nonsense reviews, much more satisfying to watch than the likes of other channels, keep up the good work :)
Thanks 👍🏻
great review, I'm thinking about buying one
Ordered one about year a go still waiting. I watched probably every Yaris reviews in youtube. Work fast fed up of waiting
Thanks for the review. I just ordered one this week. Our first car.
A great first car!

This one is one of the highest specs. It’s odd alright but Toyota aren’t alone here in it either

I tried flicking between the different speeds of air con and still no joy.
@@NobbyOnCars Oh, thanks for the clarification. Guess it's something to do with the whole design of the system then.
TOYOTA & HYBRID 👍🏻 YES, YES, YES 😎

Is the Yaris bigger than the Hyundai i20?
20 years time might be a united oireland who knows.

The GR puts this to shame really - I will just take one of those instead!
@Thunder Rhodes But where is the fun in being grown up?!
I wonder if this new model will come in 3 door variant
It does if you buy a GR version :)

They generally don't do flare, just simple long lasting cars built to keep going.
Very expensive. ,but very cheap made materials. Only one benefit is, fuel, money economy.
Show the car more in pov and not your face please
