@@sheshranjith That is too much. Full time 2 yrs MBA colleges prefer 1-4 yrs of work ex. You should go for Executive MBA instead. But what you were doing for 7 yrs out of 15 yrs ??
@@mohitbhandari1461Hi Mohit! Unfortunately I couldn't get into FMS or IIM K due to lesser movement than expected and lost those seats by hardly 10-15 ranks. I believe if some one has slightly better acads and lesser number of gap years, they stand a good chance provided they do well in the interview.

Upsc exam takes time, it is a content rich exam. Candidates have to developed intellectual bent of mind. So preparing for cse exam is not a gap year. Govt of India funded bureaucrats for their higher studies from standford Harvard etc. Upsc cse is a mother of all exam. This girl shows her intellect during her cat interview. Knowledge control power.
It is an opinion detrimental to all including you. The video is about building from scratch and leveraging strengths to score high marks in one of the toughest exams of the country. I guarantee you that similar candidates are studying in different IIMs and IITs. In case my story doesn't inspire you, find those candidates and feel motivated. The entire point of the interview was to motivate those who might be at the end of their rope so that they get some inspiration to fight a bit more and not allow opinions weigh them down. But, you do you, buddy. Whatever it is, be happy and work hard towards a better life. P.S. : I was way above General cut Off for majority institutes. Just because one belongs to a category doesn't mean they are automatically incompetent. It reinforces the irrationality that has always plagued the society.

It matters for a composite score, but if you crack CAT with 96+ percentile you will make it into IIM.
