I feel so bad" and/or then call your phone thinking you're awake.
Been using this feature with my Pixel lately, it's awesome haha. I mostly have used it to let my boss know I'm "feeling sick". Schedule that text to hit his phone at 7:12am and then I can keep on sleeping.
Well thats why the feature isn’t easily accessible to the point where youd accidentally send s scheduled message 😭 and you can send regular messages immediately after a sceduled one.

Samsung's messaging has had it for a long time and I'd always use it to send a text early in the morning to make it look like I hadn't stayed up till 4am the night prior. the text would just be something I wanted to send, like a video, but I didn't want 4am attached to it lol.

Most people don't even have message tones enabled so they wouldn't see the message unless they check. It's not like calling someone at 3.00, which would wake them up and demand they pick up immediately.
Android has had scheduled messages for years. Genuinely shocked to learn that Apple is so far behind, yet they are pushing this like it's revolutionary.

I've been using this on Android for years when I don't want to ping someone in the middle of the night. But I'll be switching to iPhone soon because I'm tired of the glitchy experience & Google Photos on Android. I'm glad Apple is catching up to some of the convenient features Android has. I'll appreciate it when I switch sides.
Make sure you buy the iPhone somewhere where you can return it if you don't like it. I recently bought my first IPhone and it's overall just such a bad and clunky experience.

Yes, but most users are too dumb or too lazy to set up a Shortcut for that. There's a truly amazing amount of functionality you can get out of Shortcuts, if you know how to program them.
No, they did not; they had the feature to set up repeating scheduled messages, like text “see you after work today!” every Tuesday but not one-time scheduled messages unless you do it in a very roundabout way with annoying extra steps
I love how you wrote the text message in the notes app and then overlayed it (as the typing indicator is the same colour from the notes app, iMessages one is blue, or green when sending an Text Message)

I'm not going to go buy a TV that's 720p, half the brightness of others on the market, with support for half the apps in hopes the brand will improve, just because I like the brand.
