Thanks Ben. I once went to an informal demo of photography lighting by a BBC lighting technician. Somehow I either missed the key points or they weren’t covered very well. Your video has clarified all the missing points.

Ben ... always like and appreciate your videos, no matter what the specific topic. Well done. Stay safe, my friend. Chuck (Northeast Florida - USA)

Hi! Ben! Thanks for putting me on the right track. (1) I need the fill light and I'll follow your recommendation. (2) I do have a good soft box! (3) I ALSO have a ring light (55w 5600K, 18 inches -- It's powerful but you can't adjust temperature ). (?) Can it be used as a background light, maybe throw a sheet over it? I don't know? I bought it randomly a couple years back during the Ring Light hysteria. It's been reduced to a makeup light for iPhones and it puts candles in your eyes. But can we modify it for a background light or is it trash? I want this to all come together and because of your experience I'm glad I found your channel. If the Ring Light is trash It's trash. I'll just drag it around the apartment and use it for finding stuff I dropped or spilled. What do you think?

I honestly wouldn’t use the ring light- 2 lights is more than enough, if you follow the single light setup from this video you should be fine 😀
