A lot of people complain about Insta360, and I've had complaints too, but one place where you have to give them props is in their updates! They work very hard on making their cameras easier to use and edit footage. Wow, first comment. Cool. Nice video as always, man, you're truly the best 360 guy out there!
Poor Ben is in the process of trying not to be the 360 guy, then gets reminded he's the best 360 guy out there. Don't worry man, you can be great at other things, and still be the best at this.

Great updates. . Managed to create a few videos in minutes last week whilst in capri and shared them with the skipper on the boat I was on . Couldn’t have done that so quickly before

I was pleasantly surprised to see the Studio version on my PC had a clarifying feature that really cleaned up the video that rivals my Action 4 for clarity.
Definately a Yay!. Thanks for testing it out. I couldnt update the app yet. probably delay due to app distribution. These features do remind me a little of the GoPro's Quik software but on steriods. I remember that the app tries to identify the 'action' from foortages and then simplifying the editing workflow for you.

I like the new pro feature, that's not to say, this is going to completely replace re-framing, but it's great addition to the existing list of functions available. I can see myself using all three modes. that's dependant on if you can use the intermediate mode to do the scrubbing. allowing you to take the clips it highlights into pro mode, and fully manipulate. ai mode is something I'd use if I needed a quick demo reel, to show the client - a starting point

Good video thank you, good update, I wish insta would add a snap edit ie, when editing one clip of video, you use different angles from it without panning or zooming. It’s instant and all the sound is still intact, many thanks
I've been away for a few years. I used to love using the Shot Lab editing tools with Insta 360. But was so disappointed that they could only be used while editing on a Phone. Did they still have the shot lab and has anything with it changed ?

I only operate from an iPad Pro and used the pro mode mostly, but haven’t found a way to change the aspect ratio in the Pro mode. Is that even possible or do I have to go to the quick mode first for that? Thanks.
Great video Ben very helpful, I love my X4 but I HATE PHONE editing in the app, the phone screen is too small, I don't do vertical video which phone editing is better suited to and with my big fingers its hard dragging the little handles on the small screen and getting the level if finesse I want. What I would really like to see is ALL this editing capability AND shot labs etc added to the DESKTOP app.
My insta360 app is notifying me that this update has come out but it's not available in my app store yet... Hopefully soon because this looks awesome. I'm mainly interested in the easier camera movements feature

We've been waiting for a long time to get all the automation of the mobile application in the desktop one. Is it really possible that Insta360 decides to take this step? That would be really helpful
We need all of this in the pc studio software! Not just the app. And if in the app, then all functions, features, edits etc should be possible in landscape. Then maybe we can use a tablet instead of using a small phone screen. Is insta360 listening????

Hey, Mr. Ben! I know insta360 has some of the best 360 cameras on the market.. However, they have some shady business practices beyond the latest RUclipsr scandal.. Do you know if they have an exclusive deal with Apple? They have Bluetooth capability.. but only for airpods?.. please expose this to put pressure on them to open Bluetooth capability to all Bluetooth devices. Thanks!

The desktop software and integration with Video Software is the most crucial updates.

These are tools for reframing, which is specific to 360 videos, yes.
