Rod knock, BIG END bearing failure and what it looks like on the BMW R53

    Did you replace rod bearing and fixed it?

      Pretty happy with the fix. There appeared to be no wear to the crank or Conrod. The bearing, in this case, had sacrificed itself.

      It is due its next oil change since doing them. I will inspect it and hopefully there are no sparkly bits. £47 repair. Cannot complain.
