Mr. Trimble sir, i love you exercises BUT for some reason i am not getting what you are doing (which is looking very simple) the breath stop all of it i am not feeling it in my body. i wish i could explain this to ask the question better. but I tried the hallah it seemed to work but its so much work to just get my voice out it came out but my body after not my throat my body was so tired after and my lower back hurt i was uncomfortable doing it. Is there a simpler instigator other than what you have documented?? i am a Mezzo or at best so i was told. :)

My teacher says simelar ( in many cases the same) things to me regarding the breath control and body position... The only thing i would like to ask is about the head position witch is on your first video! So you say that the head should look high ( 2nd or 3rd floor).. Is that position realy nesessery? Because i feel much better when my head is looking streight or maybe even with a small angle down, especially on the passaggio area.. I feel that this way i have a better mask resonance but not a nasale sound.
Anyway thank you very much sir for posting these tresors of vocal teaching and sorry for my bad english!

I felt like my muscles needed exercise yes so I understand what you are saying and even that I might be doing them wrong, can I please send you my voice so u can perhaps tell me what u hear I mean I know u can't or I have been told that I should get exercises in Trinidad but there is no teach here that teaches like or what u do. And I am not trusting my voice in any ole persons hands I purchased a cd from a teacher who teaches the things or similar things you do they call him the voice teacher David jones and I was told my voice improved cuz I sing in church at times but I want what your sharing I just need guidance. I will try again. With what you have suggested.

I'm sure this would appear to be naiive question, but when using the breath stop, if I stop the breath on the sternum and free up and relax the vocal cords, and then begin singing and shortly thereafter feel a tight glottis in a closed position what is my problem? I seem to have a tight glottis and can't keep the breath stopped......thank you Michael.

Ive got this problem too only my breathe seems to go higher in the body as the song progresses especially if there is no time to breathe then I end up with tension in y shoulders and jaw and all this built up air and hoarseness after singing heavy repertoire when i can't keep the breathe low

ps they get the wobble because they try to fake a vibrato

That’s what I tried but then I realised if I let it do it naturally it sounds so much better and not fake
