Thank you for making this video. You saved me $800 bucks. Didn’t take long. People follow his instructions and watch out for the pivot ball.
    Thank you again

Very helpful video. When I go to slide the assembly back in it doesn’t go in all the way. Seems to be getting stuck about where the o ring would slide into housing.

You should feel a lil bit of resistance Make sure the o ring has some lubricant so it will Slide in better And to help prevent pinching the o ring

Hey thanks for posting. Was dealing with loss of transmission fluid for the past few months and there was so much i had no idea where it was coming from. Your video took me right to the source. Did you get your o-rings at an automotive store or manufacturer?

I just rebuilt a velvet drive,,, that o ring is a generic size, so if you buy an o ring kit, it will be there... if you do this ob yourself... BE CAREFUL AND CLEAN!!!! that shift shaft is very sensitive.... that is your trans fluid pressure regulator, if you get any chunks of debris in that and it sticks, you will be blowing out your front main seal... so I would not be loading it up with Vaseline. get yourself a can of assembly grease and apply it in the shaft housing where the o ring rides
