I have a ‘71 GTV but my steering wheel is on the correct side of the car. I’ve owned it since high school, almost 40 years ago. This video reminds me that I have to get it back on the road!
Thanks for sharing your ownership experience. I have only owned this car for 4 years but i plan to keep it for a long time like you. I hope i will still be driving it like this by then haha
C Liang I had the body restored and repainted back in 1982 (my high school graduation present from my folks). I rebuilt the engine around 1986 and drove the hell out of it until 1988 when I bought a GTV6. Not nearly as much fun to drive, even with the extra power and better weight distribution. The 1750 is sitting in my barn, patiently awaiting it’s reawakening. I can’t wait!😎
Wow This is the 3rd video Of yours that I see. It shows a lot of you. One can see your sweet face in the rear view mirror. Great camera position; one can really feel like being in the car with you! FUNtastic! 😊 Thanks. Namaste!!!!
Excellent!!! Drive it like you stole it! I am hard to my car because Alfa's are made to be driven that way! Hope to meet you one day, I have a 156 in Bkk too ;)
Hey Mark. I'm semi restoring a 1968, 1750 Berlina. I should be turning the engine over for the first time since owning it (almost 8-9yrs) by about 4th January 2021. Those 105's are something special. Way ahead of their time.
@@markg2702 The project's still ongoing. Aerosol paints are taking an aeon to dry in my garage in the UK's winter. I'm aerosoling components, not bodywork 😉
@@73alfaromeo82 it's literally impossible to drive these cars with a light foot for me. When tuned right, these cars just want to wind itself out. Over here in Thailand, it's summer all year round lol
The nicest car ever.
That sound is music!!!
And that’s the way you drive an Alfa!
