@@noctaeol I would assume Arena has allowed you to play a considerable amount more of games than compared to IRL, which may be affecting your view. I can probably play 10 BO1 matches in the time it would take to play 1 round of BO3 at a prerelease. Those round timers are no joke lol
Ive had quite the success in U/B just focusing on the flyers with counters + proliferate, sort of like a aggro deck. Trawler drake + nesquito into proliferate once or twice (and the drake always double dips) got me a few 7-0s.
If you can get enough proliferate, blue black control is pretty strong. I once had an annoying game where op played that milling oil artifact and then just mesmerized every creature I played then milled me out in a few turns.
Oddly I have had a ton of success with blue black poison decks. When it works it works! I usually have a ton of good cards of course but poisoning wins came very easily.
I feel that last loss. Getting brutally flooded is the norm for any deck chock-full of rares I draft, or getting stuck on 2 lands turn10 for some godforsaken reason, even tough I have 17lands in the deck. Oddly enough the decks with no rares do insanely well. Maybe game was rigged from the start.
55:31 Doesnt the assing damage happen after the instrectible counter. So they can choose to kill Anatomist. I think i dont know the rulings very good, can someone explain to me what is happenig? :P
The order is defending player assigns blocking creatures, attacking player orders them for which creature takes damage first, then damage The opponent ordered the blocker such that tekathal would take damage first, when it got indestructible it could still take "lethal damage", it just doesn't die to it, so all the damage goes to the indestructible dude. If the attacker had 6 power the second blocker would've taken 1 damage
@Skulos Mario Gav Only with deathtouch as one damage is then considered lethal even if the blocker has indestructible. Otherwise, you need to assign based on the blocker's toughness.
I may be greedy, but with 6 prologues and 2 auguries, I'm going to 15 lands. MTGA loves to stack 5-7 lands in a row when I play draft, it has happened in all 3 games of my last draft so I vote for reducing the probability of it happening.
The shuffler is completely broken in magic arena. Drawing 6-7 lands in a row is a bug. They are banning post on reddit talking about this issue, because if we ban the users complaining about the bug , the bug will magically fix itself right?
"Terribly designed" is a bit much. It is the most complex card game in the world as far as I know, and I think it would be difficult to accomplish such complexity without colour combinations and such. It is, however, undoubtedly the biggest issue with Magic. Screwing, color screwing, or flooding all make it so that a lot of games just aren't games at all.
That last game was so painful to watch.
No way around it in order for the game to work, but nothing in Magic is worse than flooding out hard like that. So miserable.
Its nonstop on arena
@@bluejene2146 Yeah, exactly. I played my fair share of rl games and never got so flooded like in the online ones...
@@noctaeol I've got flooded 3 times in a row (during a BO3 match) like that irl. So it def happens, annoying, but it's just part of the game.

I like how almost every piece in the last opponent's deck was there to either find, protect or proliferate jace
With 6, it's no longer a prologue but rather a full-fledged course lmao
It may not be the most winning color pairing, but man, when it comes together it's fun to watch

27:00 If you phyresis into necrogen isn't it exactly 10? So there's still an out
What necrogen?
Would love to see a few more strixhaven drafts!
Thanks for the content. Excited for Innistrad.

A welcome appearance from Nearly-Headless Nummy today
This makes up for all the RG/RW decks. Love ya Num. Bless.
this just shows that black/blue can be good with the correct set of cards ... now if i try to draft it would be a disaster though ^^
I lost to a similar deck but there were minimal creatures just a Jin gitaxias
I just drafted my best toxic deck with TWO skelv's hive and THREE slaughter singer
My first trophy in this format was with a UB infect deck too, lol.
And it was not as good as Nummy's (only 4 prologues and no rare double proliferator).
Nice green shirt, my boi.
i love poison decks
I d9nt really agree that hive has to be on curve it can be good even late if your opponent is corrupted just to give all your toxic creatures lifelink
Good content thank you
This was my dream deck idea when previewing this set. Just want to kill someone without a single toxic creature with poison.
We aren’t little nummy!!!
Nice games... :)
i had 0 hope for game 1 but wow.... poison overpowered
Blue is so fun to watch on ONE
Man you've become such a toxic streamer 😉 great content, thanks for the great drafting
Good old hard flood on arena. For some reason never happens in real matches...
Love.
I’m a little nummy-tuber 😊
It’s cool to see you milking the open blue
Decks like this is why I watch limited
Uber flood on Arena? Pfft never!

Nah, if you would've gone lower then you'd just get stuck at 2 lands constantly.
Noice

It's not a bug lmao. If you couldn't draw 6-7 lands in a row, that would be a bug
@@chubbs6684 ppl out here seriously thinking if they don't win the game the game is bugged lol
Is it a bug in paper Magic too?
Your comment makes absolutely no sense. Do you even know the meaning of the word shuffler?
Game 3 is why I'm convinced this game is terribly designed. :/

Not a tin foil hat guy but man it feels like when you flood on arena you really flood hard, like programmed to lose hard
