That's an insane joke because spoiler this scene is essentially the first giant reveal about shannon = kanon , which technically makes battler gay, well not really but yk what i mean, thus making Battler leave the closet. God damnit you're a genius
@Cecily D Aria SPOILER FOLLOWING I think you slightly misinterpretedthe 6th game;) Battler is confronted with the same situation that Kinzo was in - there's a daughter of Beato that looks exactly like the person you once loved. But in the end - unlike Kinzo - he is able to accept Beato as being herself. He obviously would revive Beato, but not for selfish reasons. He does so to give Beato peace of mind and to fulfill her wish. There's a reason Beato herself created her piece-self... She will stay with him now for the rest of his/her life, obviously (wink wink nudge nudge). Also you missed one of the major plot points - he indeed does kill Beato at the end of the 6th game, exactly like she wanted him to : he kills her body that exists in real life. Guess why Beato closes her eyes and why she alone isnt able to shoot "Erika" - he too has to hold the gun to kill her off. "Magic cant do what you cant do yourself". The scene where he shoots Erika is the magic-interpretation of what happens in real life. He kills Yasu, who is, like Anges aunt, beyond help. Beato is only his illusion/his piece, so she cant affect real life herself. In ep 6 he tries several times to kill off "Erika" and hints at his plans. Even his locked room was supposed to deal her a fatal blow (quite literally), though at this point in time, its almost impossible for him to do that. But even after killing Beato's other half/her vessel, as his delusion, she will still always stay with him - she doesnt want to die as his delusion, she "only" wants to die as Yasu/with her body. He does everything for Beato to satisfy her, even though Beato was quite the *** to him in prime: she completely toyed with him and betrayed him and was one of the reasons that he ended up in hell. But he still ends the circle of hatred between the two of them, that already started back in Kinzos time.He forgives her and takes on his part of the responsability - something Beato didn't do until it was too late. Battler imo is no hero, he's more like the victim that in the beginning cant fight back and at the end doesnt want to fight back. His corresponding metaphor is Maria before she turns evil, someone who takes on all the hatred and turns it into nothingness with white magic. He wins by losing;) In comparison to that, Kanon...
Infinity Stop So, that's why Battler asked her "If it's okay"? He was asking if it was okay to kill her? **Sobs** That's tragic. And it puts what Will said into perspective: "Beatrice(Yasu) only saw bad endings, and never believed in a good one." Yasu was beyond help, because she didn't want help. Just like Ange.

/spoiler Battler revived Beato for completely selfish purposes, put completely unrealistic expectations on her and rejected her when she did not live up to them. Even if it was an intentional error on Battler's part, he wasn't heroic, as Beatrice wanted to die, and be killed by Battler (which he wasn't able to do). As for EP 8, when compared with Ange anyone looks heroic. Kanon, on the other hand, fought for the happiness of others. So yes, Kanon is ten times the hero Battler is.
I loved the scene where Kanon saved Shrek from jail and gave him the push he needed to go save Fiona
Lmaaaao. And that wedding scene looked like the ending of Shrek 2.
Oh my God the beginning really sounds like that track xD
I love how accurate this is
Kanon helped Battler come out the closet.
fantastic double entendre!
That's an insane joke because

@@Ping0309Does that make Jessica bi?
@@andrewmiller5126 i mean i really just said that because of the closet joke everyone is still straight because they're attracted to opposite gender.
Not even the drops of water under that heavy rain could stop him
Even if you're only a fragment of an insane mind, Kanon, you've proven yourself to be as much a hero as Battler is.
Run Kanon. Save the happy ending !
I love this song... it's so heroic.
"Gohda? I hate that guy."
I like Gohda.......
Same
But sometimes he gave me sweets... I liked that part of him.
Magical Gohda Chef!
I thought I was the only one that liked him.
I wanna marry him and hug him and kiss him
Kanon, save the world !!
This ost is so unappreciated. Kanon's the 🐐🐐.
Heh, I always envision Battler as the father of Phoenix Wright. His age is about right for the role!
phoenix is older than battler
@@backseatgaming9087 Yes, but Phoenix was the age he is much further in the future. Ergo, it's quite possible for Battler to father Phoenix Wright.
How peculiar. Batttler's point finger is based on Pheonix Wright. So says the author of the novel.
@@Rojaniel but Battler was busy with dealing with brain cancer and ptbs lol
God, this music's SO FUCKING AMAZING~ *___*
Two words to describe this song: Bad Ass
Wasted opportunity to call this track "Battlefield" instead of "Battlerfield"
I'm actually glad that I didn't really listen to some Umineko songs, some amazing songs should be left out for later!
Amazing song tbh
con esta cancion kannon se gano mi respeto
I don't remember this song at all but man do I love it
sounds like a fire emblem song lmao

Interesting interpretation. My only doubt with it is if Battler did kill Beatrice at the end of EP6, then why was Will the one to receive her heart?
@LeFatTurkey Yeah I know, right?! Yet it's three times more awesome just for being in that scene! Top that Sora!
@LeFatTurkey Sora vs the Golden Sorecerer XEMNAS!! +___+
Kanon T_T
Jim 2(snes), eres tú ? :v
what about the Eternal Sorceror Xemnas?
Honestly, Kanon seems a better protagonist. Wouldn't hurt to see a spinoff series starring him or at least an alternate version.
@lastxwriter More like ten times the hero Battler is.
When is this played?
+kael070 I believe it was EP 6 when Kanon saves Battler from the logic error.

This sounds so much like Touhou fighting game music it's not even funny
