This man stopped a civil war in his country with football....legend is too much of an understatement
iitbftw No he didn't stop a civil war LOL.. he adressed a message to politicians to calm down and negociate..
khader Which they did.
+tungtjockis i agree with you lord
DROGBA - king of chelsea football club
People need to stop going on about him stopping a war, all he did was make a 30 second video of his team mates singing that turned out to stop a war
Dider Drogba great player and great person respect from United fan
Wunderkinddd drogba + rio= legends
Vojo samo napred
good luck next season but only in the champions league :p

Pure Class
It made me sad when he said Oscar, real potential there and very young, but he sold out :( could've easily been one of the greats
Pure class
@@Odin_ He didn't sellout and who are you to say where he or any player should go. STFU and watch football bitch.
@@adamsamuel8593 well he literally went to a random Chinese league for the money over his career
@@gorillachamp5271 he had to feed his family context is important
This guy is a legend (especially what he has done for his country).
Respect Mr Drogba, from an Arsenal fan.
One of the best center forwards of his generation. Left foot, right foot, headers, volleys, runs in behind, physically a nightmare to deal with, impossible to shake him off the ball and a leader of men. Proper legend!
Preach
Exactly. A beast of a man. People have short memories. Back in the day, he was the Haarland for Chelsea. The bloke was a machime of a man. My brother is a die hard Chelsea fan, sadly I am a Norwich fan but I remember when Chelsea were any red teams' nightmare.
Free kick specialist and all
Not only a great player, but a great person too.
ragiiofficial Spot on!
Vojo samo napred Lol.
How can you hate this guy?
You can't
Tha Mathedis exactly
Ryan Veyr Who does hate Rio?
and Drogba... ;)
Ryan Veyr Nah, anyone who hates Drogba is just a very biased idiot. One of the best to have ever graced the Premier league for many years. Such a lethal weapon he was. I always feared, yet admired him as a rival fan (MUFC) #respect
Ryan Veyr legend on and off the pitch
Arsenal fan here.Henry and Drogba are my favourite strikers in PL. The Drog is a legend!
Well, that's nice comming from a gunner, wise words #Respect
+andonis slacker Henry is the best PL striker ever (Chelsea fan)
Henry and Drogba 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
kizi
I get emotional thinking about May 19th 2012.. thank you so much Didier!
I was so lucky to meet him personally in usa(they can go around like normal people) and I can say he is absolutely humble and easy to talk, cool dude!
What a giant Drogba was - I remember him almost single-handedly winning that CL final. Incredible.
THE Big game player, what a legend
Drogba was a beast of a player, as i write this i feel he's the last of the great premier league era of strikers.. after Shearer and Henry!
Originally i was pissed off at him for what i felt was dirty play against my team Liverpool in the Carling cup final.. but
When i watched him lose UNFAIRLY against Barce in THAT Champions league game.. you could just see the passion in him and you cannot beat that!
He is an absolute winner and it's fantastic what he's doing for the children's charities, he hasn't forgotten his roots and his feet have remained on the ground dispite his success.
That forehead has scored so many important goals :P
Snorlaxxll Lmao, you made me laugh, I gotta give it to you. - Chelsea fan
Snorlaxxll 😂😂😂 made my day
Yes powerful forhead that goal against Bayern at the final.
King Didier
🤣😅😂
Im a Liverpool supporter and i have immense respect for Didier Drogba. Someone who was always a big threat when we were playing against Chelsea, a player who you would fear could hurt your team. I didnt like his character when he first came to England and i feel he deserved the reputation he crafted as something of a cheat... someone who dived and went down easily at any opportunity. But after a few years in England he really cleaned up his act. He became a role model to younger players and also became more honest in relation to challenges and penalty appeals, and more respectful in his general attitude. Great player.
Drogba, Lampard, Terry, Czech and others... It was so big part of my childhood, my dream team. They made me proud of the club.
Other thing that I'm proud of is that the most talented player from my country Andriy Shevchenko was a player in that golden squad(and I know that he is one of Didier favourite players). Even the fact that he didn't make his best doesn't matters.
I will love that team for the rest of my life.
2 legends in one place :) (man utd fan)
My favourite player ever. No contest
As a united fan, I absolutely respect Didier Drogba. Thank you for all you've done for football.
he always makes me feel proud to be African its add somuch believe to us that we can go all the way ..what a colossal legend for Chelsea the best striker ever at my beloved club
DA
let us be proud Africa
Thanks so much for uploading this! Really good interview, Rio is an awesome interviewer and it seemed like he and Drogba got along well
MrChelseaDan Yeah they get along surprisingly. Although they've had intense battles, the rivarly is put to aside sometimes. And United are just our rivals based on trophy hunting. But ArseWhole are our main rival, and now Cech will be their keeper FFS!
Ballers Life yeah man he was my favourite player as well, still can't believe he went to that shithole
MrChelseaDan Same mate. He's a legend. What a shocker!
Ballers Life still even tho he left to them he's still a legend, we wouldn't have won the champions league without him!
MrChelseaDan Exactly. And he will never win as many titles as he did with them, so yeah not entirely worried about what they will do.
Drogba was a beast of a player, as i write this i feel he's the last of the great premier league era of strikers.. after Shearer and Henry!
Originally i was pissed off at him for what i felt was dirty play against my team Liverpool in the Carling cup final.. but

end of an era for bpl strikers? sergio aguero.... best goals to minutes in premier league history...
I think he means the typical, classic striker. Strong, agile. Aguero is a good striker too, but if he plays in the early 2000 era I don't think he can achieved what he achieved now because of his size and that era's style of play. In the modern game, yes Aguero is one of the best.
great premier league era strikers and you don't mention van Nistelrooy? 219 games for United 150 goals, simply spectacular striker, +20 goals in 4 of his 5 premier league seasons and still united's joint top goalscorer in European history, surely he deserves a mention "/
spreadz 1990 i said he's the last of the great ERA, this era included Van Nistelrooy.
And Drogba is still playing as far as i'm aware - making him the last from THAT incredible time when we were graced with the likes of all the fore-mentioned strikers.
It's cool Colonel some of us knew exactly what you meant loool
Ferd is not just a good player. He is a great journalist i can see
Remember ronaldinho mashup rio in Wlc 2002 😂
Loved this.
This is one of the most amazing interviews I've ever watched, two of the world's legends "just amazing" Rio with great questions and our very own Didier with great answers.
A legend is interviewing another legend.. what a legendary interview.
You just cant hate drogba and lampard
Jagteshwar Brar West Ham fans hate Frank & even booed him when he played for England.
paul eggins thats because west ham fans cant accept the fact that a brilliant player like lampard cant stay at a low-level club like west ham, west ham is literally the worst team london could offer in the prem.
rio is such a good interviewer, he understands a players mindset so much more than a journalist
Tom Smith he just needs to scrub up a little bit more and he will b a good interviewer..
What an interview from one of my favourite players ever. My chelsea legend. DROGBA. Great stuff this.
He's up there with Thierry Henry when it comes to EPL greatest strikers Drogba was a freak coming from an Arsenal fan
As a United fan out of all our rivals, Drogba was my favourite rival player to watch. I would've loved it if he came to United when he left Chelsea first time but he was always a Chelsea player. Defiantly a PL legend.
Beanyman you're amazing
Ryan Veyr Thank you. Haha
even as a Leeds fan I completely respect drogba
2 of my favourite legends - what an interview, thanks for uploading
Meeting of two legends ❤💙
I can only see legends on the screen and no thing else
And #Drogba God bless you, can't get over the feeling you gave us on the 19 May 2012 🔥🔥🔥
Would have been a bit awkward if he said his favourite player was John Terry. haha
BeanymanSports It would've of been bang on imo.
BeanymanSports Why?
eddie hockley Terry's a racist
765sanjay And you haven't learned life yet, or you're too young. Educate yourself before you make such conclusions.
765sanjay Sure - his good friend A.Cole pure white male
When I'm about 15 years old, i watch my favorite team which is MU against this monster on the final,, y'know, when i hate to see my favorite team take the lose, it's impossible to hate this man from how good he is... Speed, power, balance, right foot, left foot, heading, instinct, damn...
We love Didier Drogba in Eritrea. He is an African icon.
CLASS CLASS yet HUMILITY and What a player ! God bless him !
Drogba was the ultimate big game player. I wasn't sure about him when he first came to Chelsea but boy did he improve. He's the exact kind of player we could do with now. He could score from less than half a chance. Great in the air and he was so strong that defenders just couldn't cope with him. Chelsea legend. COYB🔵🔵
Yes bro like ever since he left we had a huge issue with strikers
none can hate Drogba!!simply yhe best person in and of the pitch #CFC
Good job drogba ur the ☝️ and only legend in Africa we proud of you!
Eto'o .. Weah
Semere Haile Okocha, Abedi Pele, Kanu
Semere Haile what are you saying? The list is long..Africa has got great players in the past and present..you must be high on drugs dummy, for saying he's the only football legend ever to come from Africa..it shows you're a learner about football or may be you just started watching soccer.
George weah
I fucking love this channel, great content.
Arsenal Guy Thank you, glad you like it
The part where he talks about his childhood got me thinking. It's so awesome to hear these kind of stories of guys clawing their way out of the abyss and making it big. Mad respect
Didier is the ultimate Striker and all round great person, he deserves every bit of praise he gets and was awesome in a Chelsea shirt
my favorite legend
drogba is an ultimate legend, from his achievements on and off the field. lampard, hands down one of the greatest midfielders and just top class off the pitch as well. great great age of chelsea football.
My favourite Chelsea player! What a guy and a legend!
Didier a LEGEND!
😍😍😍 Drogba 50 yrs from now u still be legend 💪💪💪👑
Top guy, Drogba. Great insight to his career, keep it up BeanymanSports
I was only 9 or 10 when I watched the 2012 champions league final. The first full Chelsea game I will remember forever. I think it was the closest game after my birthday and I remember being so happy. It was from that day forward I knew I would always be a Chelsea fan. Respect to Rio for doing this interview, it really brought the memories back.
Absolute Legend Didier Drogba, Chelsea will always love you, thank you so much for all the moments
I respect Drogba a lot as a footballer. As a person though I love him. Seems like such a cool & fun person to be around.
I love the respect Ferdinand showing Didier. Love both these guys.
The Droggggggggg love this guy. AFRICA is proud of you big bro✊🏾
What a beautiful career and man. Respect.
What a legendary player he was. He had this swagger and gave me a lot of good memories. We need players like him nowdays when our club is so full of people who don't care anything behind paychecks.
Next 40 years from now there are going to be kids watching this and saying the same things we are saying right now 2 legendary player's.
+Omari The People Ramsey interviewing Eriksen or something
Luigi Anastasio Boyka what you mean?
Rio and Drogba are legends. Ramsey and Eriksen are still young. Who knows, maybe 15 years from now they will be retired legends and be interviewing each other exactly like in the video. Need more details?Omari The People
Luigi Anastasio Boyka ????
Omari The People
Gawd you are clueless. Forget it
2018.. miss the Chelsea KING
Great video. Drogba is a true legend!
hero without ballon d'or
Not only a great football player, He is a great person too. He challenged President Gbagbo to end the civil war. He made a desperate plea to the combatants, asking them to lay down their arms, a plea which was answered with a ceasefire after five years of civil war. #THEKING #legend
What a BRILLIANT man standing ovation
The reason I starte supporting Chelsea in 2005! Love this guy. Legend
SandoTrini u r black???
What?
SandoTrini Are you black? That is what they meant.
SandoTrini bandwagon.
SandoTrini me too and for lampard also
Excellent striker with respect
This is what football is all about. See who are seated together, awesome.

Great work mate.
Ballers Life Benny!? haha Glad you liked it
BeanymanSports Haha, spell check mate. I'm sure you know now lool. And yeah I did mate. Great work as usual.
Class!
Ferdinand i love him what a spirit
Wow💗💗💗 great interview with DD. I risked watching the interview with my last data. I never regretted it. It was an awesome one. DD was actually a great player Chelsea can't forget for life. His love and passion not just for the game but the blue jersey was overwhelming. He was actually a motivator in big games especially when Chelsea is losing the game. Today's crop of players in Chelsea lacks such a huge potential.
how can u not love Didier ? the man was a beast
Only as a blues fan you’ll know how much we owe this man
I really respect didier as a player, i will ignore his moments against man united but he is top quality. repsect mufc family
Another one of my favorite strikers
The goals he be scoring ⚽️
My favorite player of all time, and I'm from Liberia
This was so memorable to watch. Much respect to Rio, he was a great defender who gave Drogba tough times back then.
DROGBA - king of chelsea football club
I appreciated this interview. I knew little about double D from Chelsea....always respected him and now I respect him even more
Good one , they faced each other and had to reminisce what transpired between them. What a great interview
he is one of the best striker i ever knew. he is strong, fast, great skill, and ontop of that, he know how to score many goals...
chelsea won't have great striker like him anymore...
Didier, Okocha, and CR7 Are my favorites of all time 🙌🙌🙌. So great love for them, moreso Didier
His charities are so underrated. Ma man scored in 12 finals out of 13 winning 12 trophies.
May not have a huge no of goals like some, but always made a difference when it mattered the most, such a huge character in the dressing room. Such a legendary player
wow what an awesome interview.
Rio and D/d both respect ✊
Whoever you support. This man is a legend!
Legendary Didier..king of Football's
I can relate about that last goal wins🤣 Africa is amazing
Will both be missed true legends .......
