And well, of course the openings look 10/10 too

I mean, what's the point of the armor's still image at the end of the episode? Feels cheap, forced, out of place and style. Even if the scene and voice acting are kinda good, there were many production decisions that definitely didnt help at all

I don't mind CGI at all, this is bad CGI which really sucks and genuinely the way the anime is edited is just not at all strong. Berserk is like pizza though in that shitty pizza is still pretty damn good.

Look at the manga panels. But really, either fully commit to 3D and invest, or don't do it at all. Don't try to make it look like 2D anime. Just full-on Arcane that sh*t. Make everything look detailed and painterly. Go ham on the 3D action like Trigun: Stampede, mo-cap the acting, and other artistic liberties that might work. So long as you got the heart, it could work as an adaptation.

To me its the kind of groan of metal being molded and bent in a way that it definitely SHOULDN'T be but is because of pure fucking spite. Guts literally was so fucking pissed that the armor changed on him.
It's like Kentaro Maori knew we were needed the secret ingredient to survive these nasty times we live in and guys is that missing ingredient. When we let go of fear nothing and noone will stand in our way!
Berserk needs an anime studio that'll do it justice, Linden Films(production), GEMBA(animation) and Millepensee(animation) did Berserk and Kentaro Miura dirty.

I mean I liked most of this series, just not most of the CG. The other aspects of it were great and I was able to disregard my gripes with the CG so I enjoyed it quite a bit. I think people fixated too much on that.

I didnt mind the animation quality that much, so it always surprises me to see the same vocal minority acting like the Holocaust happened. I'd take this over another adapation of the same arc we've been shown for the last 25 years.
