Since Schierke mentions the armour's ability to help its wearer tap into od, I would say the wearer does in fact get a boost in speed and strength. Probably battle IQ as well - like spidey senses. Stronger, faster, and increased perceptions, but to an ungodly level. Basically calling in arms to the astral world, which bolsters him up and increases his abilities in that way. It's a fetish, like Serpico's wind sword or Isidro's flame dagger.

And it doesn’t give the wearer superhuman strength and speed, it only removes the mental barriers preventing the wearer from using the full capacity of their body.
Millennium Falcon had it down better. Starts out with the skull helmet and then it morphs, Guts runs around like a possessed drunkard, and then proceeds to swing and cleave through Grunbeld and Zodd with insane acrobatic special moves. Also having Signs play in the background was great.
The only reason why I played this game is because it’s literally the best adaptation(compared to the animes) that actually follows the story pretty damn far.
And it’s also the only adaptation that actually covered the Black Swordsman arc in full (although heavily altered). Both Snake Baron and Slug Count make an appearance.
You can really tell Miyazaki used GUTS as inspiration for Artorias, The abyss Walker, and One of the four knights of Lord Gywn. I fucking love it even better, cas Artorias is still my favourite till this day before even knowing anything about Berserk, and when i first watched it, Guts is one of my favourites

I would give him probably a 20% margin of error because who knows what else Godo used to make the sword, but even still, that would theoretically make the sword somewhere between 252lbs and 378lbs. But I bet it's on the heavier side - it isn't called the dragon slayer for nothing.
Considering how the universe works, it makes sense that being in the interstice allowed him to develop even more superhuman strenght, Schierke also comments on this.
Oh man, I think I need to see that now. Not only would the gameplay, visuals, and audio be fantastic but also the story and lore might be even better than the manga. It would be like how The Witcher games are better than their source material. Take the story and lore of the manga and add more to it, deepen it, expand upon it, but don't change what is already written. Stay true to the source material but also add more to it and make it billions of times better in every way.
I dont know that much about berserk but hear me out I think guts uses elf dust or something to heal quickly and the guy who made the berserker armor told guts he was using it wrong, so what if the berserker armor is made to be used along with the elf dust so that the user doesnt die or have permanent damage after using it

Platinumgames would do the combat better. Though not every game Fromsoft makes has to follow the souls formula. They made Armored Core back in the day.
Grunbeld got the Short end of the stick in his apostle transformation, hes supposed to be way bigger than that, even a 7ft+ armored man is just the size of his head

@@elpsykoongro5379 actually, I figured it out since then To activate it, you have to fill the frenzy gauge, activate frenzy with Circle Button, then fill the deathblow guage and hit the R2 button to activate berserker mode. Notice how it’s a different button from using deathblow. Berserker mode drains the frenzy guage a LOT more slowly than frenzy does, and you can extend it with accessories. Also, if u complete layer 100 of the Endless Eclipse, you can have berserker mode always on. Thats both easier and a lot harder than it sounds. I’m on layer 100 and can’t beat it. It’s easier than in sounds because you get a break every 5 layers

Its a fun game to go through the story, but the "endless eclipse" is so bloody monotonous to play through for all the desires.
