An amazingly informative video that will never get the amount of likes or attention that it deserves.
This is excellent! Having watched approximately 10 other videos on this topic, I can assure you this is the most informative and clear, about what is required and how to take the steps. The language is also very good, as each topic is addressed separately, and connected to the whole. In other videos, I often had MORE questions because things became nebulous. WELL DONE!
Wow, awesome to hear! We are glad our approach was helpful! 😊
This was the most informative video on this subject. Searching online and you just find people trying to file for you. I want to learn the process and how to do it myself. Thanks!
Muchas gracias por el trabajo y el tiempo dedicado a este video, muy educativo y bien estructurado. Excelente, sigan trabajando 👍🏿 con esta maestría. Saludos desde (Valencia) España! SyR

OmG Thanks so much !!! I really appreciate it.
No problem!!
Love how y'all spelt religious.
I'm a little lost. Your video says a team would be a mutual benefit, but the professional service website is sayinga mutual benefit is HOAs or unions. Which one should I pick?
Hiya. I have all the info I need for the ART-PB-501(c)(3) but I'm wondering if I can file without securing my name. I understand the reasons for checking - but do I have to secure it?
It does not seem so. Form ARTS-PB-501(c)(3) has to be signed by each incorporator. That said, the when the non-profit is registered with the state of California, the name will be secured. Thank you for asking!

This was EXTREMELY informative!
I want to start a nonprofit, but I'm a solo person (as of now).
If there another route I can take where I can start a charitable organization on my own and be recognized by CA as one?
By default, the IRS regards a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit as a private foundation. A private foundation can be directed by a sole individual. Private foundations are typically funded mostly by “insiders”, the person(s) who starts them or operates them. A private foundation can accept donations from “outsiders” but to the extent those outsiders are considered members of the public, the nonprofit will be required to have permission from the state to solicit funds from the public. @@HowtostartanllcOfficial awesome! Thank you
@@HowtostartanllcOfficial This part confuses me. You can basically do it alone or you need all those positions filled... board of directors, secretary, treasurer?
You do need those positions filled by others, yes.
How rapidly can one establish their NPO if they do it all themselves?
Establishing a nonprofit in California may take some time. That’s because there are several phases, some of which, like choosing a name may be done relatively quickly, while others, such as selecting board members may take longer.
Applying for and obtaining 501(c)(3) status may take up to six months but, more typically, around three months, on average. For more information on the steps to take, see our article startupsavant.com/start-a-501c3-nonprofit/california-nonprofit?ref=yttxllccc
there are no links to the templates you mentioned in the video most especially bylaw and conflict of interest
