    It’s ok to start over, 8 years is a long enough interview for the job. Let’s see who steps up going forward.

      You aren't winning in the post season without a viable run game on offense and a defense that can stop the run. Not even Pattie Mahomes.

      So there's no scenario you could see that would make sense to extend Dak?
      - Salary cap?
      - Talent?
      - Poor secession planning?
      Sounds like you are only using 1/4 of your brain and 100% of your feelings.

      @lorddylly, salary cap? No, I’m not looking to extend the mediocrity for the sake of the cap. Talent? Dak is less than average. Poor secession plan? You have a poor success plan.
      Sounds like you’re a midwit. Go drink your bud lights.

    Anyone, who's not understanding this team doesn't know how to draft QBs or develop them is missing the point... This team not finishing strong is a leadership problem, Dak would win bigger with a better organization behind him...

    Why draft a QB? We have Trey Lance

  • @worldtsunami9142
    @worldtsunami9142 Месяц назад

    My Biggest reason for wanting to move on are these simple facts:
    1.) Dak doesn't have the arm talent of Phillip Rivers, or other elite QBs.
    2.) Dak doesn't have the Pre-snap read ability of Rodgers, or others, PRE-SNAP means AS SOON AS you read the defense, knowing that they are in Zone Coverage, he drops the ball in exactly the correct place without hesitation.
    3.) Dak isn't an elite top 7 QB BUT wants to be paid on an escalating scale and HIGHEST paid QB of the NFL.
    Yeah no, can't be the 11th-12th best QB and demand higher pay than Mahomes.

  • @seanchristopher4683

    The first caller and Nick are Dak homers. They’d rather us stay where we are than dare the unknown of a QB search. Which is weird because Dak was drafted and they like him plenty. But all of a sudden it’s too improbable to draft another? I’m for at least trying to find a new franchise QB....

    No, the difference between Dak and Allen is that Dak flops terribly when he take’s L’s Allen takes L’s but he fights back

    Let Dak walk, trade Micah to a Draft/Cap rich team for a load of Draft Picks. Instead of having one Pick early in the Draft, how about two Picks for each Round? Let Will take over and Draft 6 aces for us.

  • @Capncomeback2023
    @Capncomeback2023 Месяц назад

    Personally, I’m ready to let Dak walk and to trade Micah, during the Draft for Draft Picks. We should be able to get quite a bit for Micah. And we need a lot of roster help. If they love a certain QB, they’ll have enough to trade up for whoever they want. I believe the pressure has gotten real bad for Dak and it’s more than he can bear. I can’t blame him, since he’s only human. I try to put myself in his place but it’s extremely difficult since the type of pressure he’s under is unique.

    Sell Jerry! Bring in a young oil tycoon who’s got the grit to blow it up. We are the Dallas Cowboys and should not except good or average or it’s hard to find a quarterback crap. Also get rid of these players that are more about their brand and not the Dallas Cowboys brand. Trade Parsons and send a message and commit Nothing but excellence. That’s what Jimmy Johnson would do

    If that’s the case then sign Dak to a 10 year contract cuz according to yous. How can u do better than Dak. Yous don’t even want to find out if someone’s better. So just stop wasting time and sign him to a 10 year and keep losing and blame it on everyone else and keep saying well how can u do better then Dak lmao

      What would your secession plan be

    • @ronwill06
      @ronwill06 Месяц назад +2

      The secession plan ideally would be to draft a QB in the first round in 2025 or 2026 I would think.

    • @LordDylly
      @LordDylly Месяц назад +1

      @@ronwill06 Since 2015, 102 QBs have been taken. 28 have been first rounders.
      4 of those QBs have a Superbowl appearance.
      1 has won a Superbowl.
      There's something to be said about QBs on rookie deals, but to find the RIGHT QB on a rookie is next to impossible.
      If they extend Dak, I'm ALL FOR drafting a QB in the coming drafts. But Dallas needs to have a better plan in place for when Dak leaves in that scenario because if he leaves in 2025, he leaves them in salary cap hell. And that's obviously not ideal to bring a rookie QB into. You want to surround that rookie with talent.

    • @ronwill06
      @ronwill06 Месяц назад

      @@LordDylly Right! I agree with you. I'm just saying given our situation I think that's the ideal plan IF the Cowboys want to move on. If the Cowboys keep Dak, the Cowboys are going to be good enough to get 10-12 wins. As a result, the Cowboys won't be in a good enough draft position to pick a QB that is at the level or better than Dak. I also agree that drafting a QB in the first round doesn't guarantee that QB will be great. However, drafting a QB does increase the probability tremendously that the QB you pick will be a hit. The Cowboys have been lucky to find a 4th rounder and an undrafted QB that has been as good as Dak and Romo.
      Additionally, I agree that letting go of Dak would put the Cowboys in salary cap hell. However, what other options do the Cowboys have if they think Dak ain't it? I think this is where the organization is given everything I've heard reported. It seems they're ready to burn the house down and maybe pay CeeDee and Micah. Then, bring in a young QB via the draft that has a somewhat decent foundation around him. Hence, why I think they're hesitant to spend any money now.

    • @LordDylly
      @LordDylly Месяц назад +1

      @@ronwill06 I think the team has a shot to win as currently constructed if they have a successful 2024 draft class. I think they have a good enough core that they can remain competitive for the next 3-4 yrs.
      I'd rather roll with that and then move on from Dak the next go around when they have a better secession plan in place. You remain competitive so there's a shot at a SB, meanwhile planning the next move in a few years. I'd hate to waste a top pick in your scenario and set that guy up for failure, as opposed to surrounded a young QB that maybe the team drafts at the bottom of the first rd with talent.
