My Mantra for Life - Don't Procrastinate. It steals away all peace, joy and comfort. If you do things then and there you feel accomplished, you don't have to remember to do it and you don't need to get tensed for doing it late or rather not doing it.
I began the habit of keeping a mindset journal during lockdown last year. Each morning i write down: how I slept, how I feel, the things in my life for which I’m grateful, three things to bring me joy this day…I leave a space for my evening reflection: three good moments from the day.
I like decluttering. When I get anxious or overwhelmed, it's nice to review the physical stuff I've accumulated and evaluate if I still want it on my metaphorical back. Using a month-box is a good first step sometimes. Things you're not sure about go in the box and after a month you evaluate if you used them or wanted them or even remember whats in the box. There's no pressure to get rid of anything so its just a nice way to test ideas.
I love this!! It’s so true what you said about exercising. You gotta find what works for you and your body. And not feel “guilty” since a certain workout doesn’t work out for you. And yes, you’re right, consistency is the key to success!
My goodness, you covered so much ground in this video, and every element makes perfect sense. One good thing to come out of Covid was being forced to slow down, reassess and prioritise what’s important in life. I really admire how you live with intention and simplicity. Thanks for sharing your video with those of us who are still working on that. 💚🌺
Thank you for continuing your efforts. As a blind person, minimalism and slow living came to me in pieces. This philosophy has saved me. It is part of my Buddhist nature and is in line with my quest to be healthy living.
Finding an exercise that works for me and my body has been life changing!!! 15 minute stretching exercises daily have been what my body needs. It is just right and also makes me feel great.
I have a job that, due to COVID, has kept me in my home office in a chair all day, reviewing products. It's grueling, to put it mildly. Everything you're discussing here makes perfect sense and either has helped (exercise, reduce screen time that has increased due to not having coworkers to chat with, clutter free environment (thanks for your help with that)) or will help in the future (I need to dial down the fast food and get a pet--houseplants don't cut it).
you are happy to have a job like that. i have the same full lifetime schedule at my job just like prior of this covi thing. i have just 3 free hours a day when i must eat, shower clean and prepare for another day in the full time job. in weekends i am so tired, i sleep all day long and the cycle repeats and i am too old to change jobs.
@@globalmuffin2 Brutal. When I was commuting I had basically the same schedule. I've found I can do my job from home and I'm going to push to keep it that way. I don't know what your job is but maybe you could push for working from home? I save about 3 hours a day by avoiding a commute.
I do like morning yoga to start my day with, and before sleeping I listen to Qur'an, it's a such soothing and calming thing💛 I'm working on phone time, it's very difficult though..
I drink a large glass of room temperature water right after waking up. Then I brush my teeth and clean my tongue. I usually won't consume anything else but water for a few hours after waking up. This helps me focus as I dont take in any sugars that would make me crave for more soon after. Sometimes I cheat and have a coffee with milk before heading out to work. Thanks for the insights you shared.

And there are a lot of inspiring fit channels in RUclips, so why not to use them properly - not only to watch. I wish I could discover so many new, interesting excercises at school, but that time was mainly basketball or valleyball. Then I did squats, because I had to, now I do it, because I want.

I like the way you enjoy life in this video. I find out more young people to tend to work less and enjoy more. This is an awakening age from the wrong old idea that we should work hard for living.
I'm in my premenopause age so it seemed as if nothing was working for my weight and sluggish feeling. I don't like gyms, but I do enjoy walking so I'd walk A LOT, but was still not losing weight. I started learning more about the metabolism and added rebounding (trampoline) to my exercise, I added juicing organic greens and intermittent fasting, lower carb intake (and carbs I do intake are healthier, like whole grains) and I've finally started seeing a noticeable difference, especially in my clothes and energy levels. I agree we each have to find what works best for our bodies as no two bodies are the same :)
You touched on everything I would have. The only other one I can think of is being in nature more but that's honestly linked to physical activity and reducing screen time too.
Your video was just what I needed today...to remind me to slow down and also make more time for taking care of myself. I like to cook and exercise by walks--I may do more stretching now. Thank you for your beautiful calming voice and message I look forward to your new videos. God Bless.
Hey. Thanks a lot for this video that has a lot recommend for us. My guess is healthy life has one world of peace for us and whatever we see in every time.
Sophie, you live in a beautiful part of the World. I do my own exercise's, I will say, that people have to be careful how much exercise they do because, you can go over the top, and then it become's a choir rather than simple and effective. Tips,. try inhaling up your 👃 nose and exhaling out of your mouth, 5 times. Great video!.
Hi beautiful its me again your avid viewers from the philippines 🇸🇽✈💖 i would say that your content is have big impact on me specially living in a simple way, mabuhay keep posting your video.
Hello sophie, thank you for todays video I can try all of these .I have my 7 yrs old son with me plus online class and work. your videos helps us a lot. now I have time for my yoga ,exercise and time in each particular things in our daily living.
I just drove past somewhere I used to live, and saw all the gym posters. Ugh, not for me anymore. As well as it being exercise you enjoy, it has to work for your body in your particular life situation. I used to be able to do really hard-core sport. Right now, I‘m so thankful that I can swim. I definitely need to incorporate these habits, asap.
Your videos are always so beautiful! Definitely agree with finding an exercise that works for you - I love taking dance classes and workshops! Focusing less on material possessions and more on experiences, and getting joy from the possessions I do have, both have been so helpful for me. And *yes, yes, yes* to batch cooking - oh my gosh, this is a lifesaver for me in terms of helping me eat healthy! I'm not a big fan of cooking, but too much takeout just doesn't feel good to my body, so batch cooking several days worth of clean meals in one go makes things so much easier. In general, I love just going out for mindful walks, going to a local wooded park, or just enjoying the flowers on the side of the path or the tree blossoms, focusing on these instead of the hustle of urban suburbia where I live.
Ive come to hate the word ‘diet’ diet to me assumes it is for a short period. I much prefer adding things to my ‘lifestyle’ thus it becomes a part of the way I live and not a fad.
1) not to eat too much for every meal ( probably 70% to full) 2) walking after meals rather than sitting 3) Listening in lieu of watching to relax your eyes while continue your learning and getting knowledge and information

차분하고 명료한 목소리와 말투도 자꾸 다시 보게 되는 이유 같아요.
다른 영상들도 잘 볼게요.
감사합니다🥰

Hello sophie, thank you for todays video I can try all of these .I have my 7 yrs old son with me plus online class and work. your videos helps us a lot. now I have time for my yoga ,exercise and time in each particular things in our daily living.
I'm happy to hear you're making time for yourself and your son :) thanks for watching
Yes I agree with you! I used to dance, but now my body has changed a lot. Swimming is one of my favorites too
@@MalamaLife yes, dance is so tough on the body! I’m with you on that, too.
Lovely video Sophie! You are such an inspiring person. Learning to live with what we have! All credits to you. Keep posting! ❤❤
Thank you! So sweet of you ❤
I love your voice :) So calming...
This video is what I exactly need 😍👌🏻😍👌🏻
Thank you so much ❤❤❤
:) Happy to hear that! I hope you enjoyed
Absolutely, I will never get another gym membership. I get bored very easily, so I do different low impact exercises on a weekly basis.
I really enjoyed watching the video. Thanks
❤️
You’re a true inspiration…..thanks for another great and relatable video.
Thanks Tamara 🥰
I love all your videos. If you ever write a book, I'll be the first to order 💕💕
You're so supportive. Thank you so much!
Inspiring 💗💗💗💗thank you always ☺️💗
Ive come to hate the word ‘diet’ diet to me assumes it is for a short period. I much prefer adding things to my ‘lifestyle’ thus it becomes a part of the way I live and not a fad.
yes! agree with you. Fads come and go, but lifestyle is for the long term
