The way I’ve been upgrading my life is by taking care of my body. I never knew or felt the importance of working out, or any Physcial activity. I set a goal to push myself and try different things. One of them was running a marathon. Ive always wanted to do it, but never applied it. I decided to stop thinking too much and just start. It’s been an amazing experience to push myself and work towards a goal.

I also like to take friends and family to places around here thats old to me but new to them, it's like a refreshment and I get to see it through their eyes; it's a beautiful way to renew your love for your own backyard.* 😊💕🌺

So much of what is thought of as luxury is about being perceived as rich to others when you could still feel completely dissatisfied with your life. Instead, I believe we should all focus on cultivating happiness, fulfillment, and a sense of wealth in our own lives, which is much more of a rewarding and enjoyable pursuit. Yes, you do need a certain amount of money to live comfortably, but wealth is so much more than money and that is important to recognize in our money-focused culture.

I've just finished 2 books inspired by the Truth of God's Word and it also taught me that in order to meet the life that God has designed for me, I have to submit to Him and follow His leading. We are so precious in God and all He wants for us is to have the abundance of life that He originally prepared for us. I encourage you all to choose life (obedience) and walk with God, who is love.

One way I've been upgrading my life is through addressing any and all health issues (naturopathically), some forced on me. For some reason several issues have come up and I've just decided to address all of them, actually at great financial cost (even my cat's health!). Even though this doesn't exactly fit your topic of upgrading on a budget, it is kind of out of the ordinary. But if hopefully all gets resolved and accomplished, I can't think of a more valuable asset than my health. We tend to take it for granted until something happens. I'm willing to spend significant discretionary income, and also I have an HSA, so I'll get a sizable portion back in a tax refund.

I'd say that the main theme I got from this video was that we need to see what really matters in life. This is a huge part of minimalism since the point is to be intentional with your space.

Do anybody else feel like this: I watch these videos and listen to her words, enjoying the beautiful pictures. Afterwards I can't remember anything at all, there's something about the advice that is hard to remember, it doesn't stick.
It's not just her videos, it's these types of videos.
I don't mean this in a bad way at all, I still like them and watch them, but they end up being more a tool of relaxation and taking in something just in the moment.
If these videos can leave you with a good feeling, I'm happy. I think that's more powerful and lasting than any words or advice I can say. With that said, I do want to create more content that people can personally connect to! thanks for your comment

I love your philosophy for life
I am not doing well financially during this period, but I am keen to upgrade my life. I am still trying to find the best way to do that. Due to certain regulations in Italy, life is not easy here and I am considering moving back to England for the winter. Decisions, decisions :) Loved the quit fast fashion part the most and I totally agree with that! I am also a big fan of charities shops and if I will go back to England I would love to do a documentary about them so I can raise awareness as not everyone is keen on second hand clothes. Here in Italy not many buy second hand clothes, In England instead they are very popular, even people with a certain status buys them. Great video Sophie! You always find the right topic!
