I have been living a slow lifestyle for 4 years now. I love it! Sometimes, I feel like it made me lazy. There is definitely an opportunity there for me to find more about that laziness’s feeling
We just woke up to a beautiful rainbow over our house and we all came out of the house to enjoy it for the 5 mins it lasted. Little things like that make you start your day in the greatest way.
I agree, Society says constant productivity is good… It absolutely is stressful and leads to burn out. The past couple years I’ve been embracing slow living… I’m so much calmer and happier.🥰
For me, it’s important to have a productive morning. Then, for the rest of the day I will be in a good mood. I truly appreciate the morning times so I make sure I’m prepared the night before so I’m not rushing the best day. I get my coffee grounds ready to go in my French press, get my outfit ready for the next day, and make sure I have my snacks ready for work. That way, I can truly enjoy the magical morning time with my kitties. That’s my favorite part of my day.
I completely agree, if my morning goes well then the rest of the day follows suit. If I let myself get lazy and lag through my morning it's so hard to break out of throughout the rest of the day. Getting some form of exercise first thing in the morning and having a nourishing breakfast is one of the most important parts for me.
I have a busy city life and i find these videos very calming. The videos are inspiring and gives me hope to live like this sooner than later. I have learnt to let go of things slowly and even say no to work when I need to. Long walks by the harbor every other day is keeping me grounded and satisfying. Also spending more time on Coursera to learn more skills which I enjoy learning. Life must be enjoyed in whatever little way we can, and like you said make it enjoyable and have new experiences. You have a gift for translating many of our inner thoughts in these videos. Thank you.

Toxic productivity is fast following toxic positivity and while humans are capable of great things, we are still human, and being human means we are perfectly imperfect, a work in progress and we are all different yet we are the same. Our mental, physical and spiritual being will fluctuate according to what stage of life we are at, we live, we learn and we grow. We can still demand a standard for ourselves yet we must do this with compassion and kindness. Comparison is the thief of joy, we are all here to live our lives at the pace that works for us, as the saying goes, “A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it. It just blooms.” - Zen Shin, we will all thrive or perish in different environments and what works for one may not work for another. . Our wellbeing which includes health and happiness is important and our time is something we can never get back. This is so true! In my main job, I'm working as a nutritionist and most of my patients need besides nutritional advice, also inspiration on how to establish healthy routines in their lives, such as meditation or yoga. Also it helped me a lot to fight my chronic hip pain. Videos like these are so important. People should watch that istead of TV. Thank you!

When I was younger I hopped up early and was done by 3p each day. My current situation calls for mid-day work and I'm done by 5p/6p. I don't care for it but it's what needs to happen right now. As one gets older, different health issues will pop-up and go away, so I have to be strategic with everything. I don't use those issues as an excuse to do nothing. However, it does take me longer to get momentum in the morning.
Different people have different life style suits to them. But my dream life style it's anything you having in current. It's an freedom life, not tied up by deadline, works, money & everything bring up the stress. Just need live for ourselves is enough 🎉

There isn't anything wrong with taking inspiration off of another person's positive life choices, it's just that EVERY life lesson is put into someone's life in order to help them to learn a specific lesson and evolve past a particular point that's holding them back from transcending to the next stage of spiritual ascension. And I wouldn't suggest learning things that are outside of YOUR divine plan But hey, knowledge is knowledge, eh?

There isn't anything wrong with taking inspiration off of another person's positive life choices, it's just that EVERY life lesson is put into someone's life in order to help them to learn a specific lesson and evolve past a particular point that's holding them back from transcending to the next stage of spiritual ascension. And I wouldn't suggest learning things that are outside of YOUR divine plan
