So Beautiful and sad. I have a semi feral cat that looks just like him. I’m wanting to retire far away but want to take him with me. Not sure how to manage this. Bruiser will be waiting for you on the other side🌈🙏💖
Absolutely!! I'm sure in his mind the day he met her and walked up to her to hug her was like love at first sight, probably broke his lil heart when they had to pry him off her. At least he got 4 good years with a loving and understanding family. He was probably ready for his fight with that horrible sickness to over with and spent a beautiful day with someone he loved.
I am so very sorry for your loss! It's so hard to lose a darling little pet, even if you knew that your time was limited!! I completely understand about Bruiser cuddling into your neck, because I have a darling little kitty who does the same thing, and it must have felt so very sad to feel Bruiser cross the Rainbow bridge!! God bless you for all that you did and felt for dear Bruiser. I truly believe that you will see him again, all well and happy, running around Heaven, never to part!!
All of the lost, all of the forgotten, should be treated with the dignity and love that Bruiser was gifted in the golden years of his life. This video made me cry happy tears.
She is teaching every one a great lesson. That these sweet souls who have been abandoned by the families and let down by humanity are sweet little creatures who needs compassion and love and that they are well worth all the time and love that we can give them
@Metal Fan Don't say that. They had several kids and two cats already, all of which is a huge amount of work and costs a lot; it's not unreasonable for him to think a new family member would be too much - and one with a serious medical condition who would inevitably be chronically hospitalized at that. As an extreme cat lover, I'm obviously on the mother's side and think she did the right thing by just bringing the little one home regardless, but don't insult her husband. There's nothing to suggest he's not a cat lover himself and obviously, he accepted it and made it work once his wife made the call.
I'm dying inside when her voice started to crack. He is not suffering anymore. And your love and the family you gave him.... Eased him to rest. Rip kitty. You have a good heart and he knows it.
Me too, her meow just broke me to pieces , and I am happy he received this love and felt accepted and worthy and loved , I’m just so moved and with tears and emotions but like you said now he is heaven with good angles who make sure he is happy and healed completely
We had a stray leukemia cat come stay with us. She was at death's door when we found her on our property. The vet said she would last only a few weeks and did we want to make her comfortable until then. That was seven years ago. She outlived all their expectations and had a wonderful healthy 7 years with us almost perfect health. We just lost her a few weeks ago at the age of 16 to kidney failure, it was devastating. Love you forever Koshka. She also looked like Bruiser! Except she had long hair. :)
Her dear cat look like mine..😢 Exactly the same, passed away Jan 2022 also but my cat of 4 yrs passed away due to heart disease.😭 He also didnt like to mix with other cats. He wanted to jump on my moms bed so i hold him up, sat dwn on the bed and hug him close to me.. Watching him close while im crying, he feels uncomfortable, struggled for a moment, gasping for few secs…and finally in his last breath……….😭😭😭 I wan to mit my cat in Jannah….😭😭😭
Hard to get past that purr-motor. When they're happy they can really rev it up. I live with seven cats, all indoor and all rescues. I've lost four since I started rescuing cats and the most beautiful sound is that purr when they are happy.
I'm happy she went with her heart, this cat clearly wanted to be with her and she with the cat. Beautiful story! I'm so sorry for your loss, bruiser was so loved by you and that is all he needed. It makes me cry as i lost both my cats in the past year. one looked like bruiser. I know how heavy it feels when losing them .. RIP Bruiser
@@tracyparris1475 I know, 9 months after my cats passed I'm still recovering and having breakdowns. let it all out, it will get easier (that coming out of my mouth is a surprise right now, but true) Much love to you ❤️
@@oliviawutam No, I have had cats my whole life, I don't just get one, we find each other. for now I do cat sitting for people that go on holiday so it's something, and I'm not over mine yet
This Lady is like an Angel on Earth .. She not only gave Bruiser a beautiful life with her, she helped all those other leukemia cats get adopted as well .. And now her children are learning how loving such cats can be and will be very compassionate adults .. Thank you, GeoBeats, for sharing this incredible rescue story 💞💞💞💞
I knew I was going to cry but I didn't think it'd be this much. I'm so happy that he got to know love and have a family too. this was a sad but beautiful story.
@@user-me7iw6ft8z well obviously, he came around or Bruiser wouldn't have stayed with them : she'd have found an adopter like she did the other sick cats.
Her kids were so sweet and gentle around Bruiser, I get so scared when small children are around animals but the moment her son walked upto him with a bowl and said "Do you want some food to make you strong?" and fed him, it warmed my heart. Very sweet family 💚
All parents should be required to teach their children about compassion and empathy but so few do. This is a shining example of parenting done right! These children will teach their children and the world will be a better place because of Bruiser. I'll keep this video forever!
Oh my goodness, if this doesn't touch peoples hearts, I don't know what will. What an amazing woman for bringing Bruiser home to be a part of her family. The last 4 years of his life, he knew nothing but love. So so sorry for the loss of Bruiser.
I feel certain he wouldn't have lasted nearly that long in the shelter. She gave him the will to live. So thankful she was able to help all the others too. Amazing what one person can do.
@@JanBee1122 I totally agree. All the love he was given helped him live 4 more years. I was so happy when she said all the other cats with leukemia got adopted too.
Some people don’t have hearts. They’re too selfish and self absorbed to care about others, especially animals. I love people who love animals. And not just as pets, those people who truly love and respect animals. Bless this lady, she’s truly wonderful!
Bruiser fought to live and love. He could have curled up in a corner of that shelter and given up, never approaching his would-be mom that very first time. He fought to find a human that would love him and that he could love back, and he indeed found that. Rest in Peace, Bruiser. Your story and your loved ones live on.
"He had just been failed by people time & time again". His purr literally vibrated his love & gratitude to her for giving him a happy, loving home for four years.
I'm sure his life span was extended by being adopted into the most loving home. Some humans make up for all the other ones who don't care about animals or other humans for that matter. This lady is an exceptional person. Maybe she just sees Love instead of illness or labels. 💖
4 full years of joy. That’s wonderful. That remote shelter must have thought he had days, maybe weeks. But giving him that love he needed empowered him to live his best life.
The 4 years made such a difference in Bruiser's life as well as their lives. He passed away loved and wanted. The best way to go in my opinion. Compassion goes a long way when it comes to loving fur babies.
I put a ton of money into slowing the progression of my cat's cancer this year and she died just under a month ago. It was worth every single dollar to me to have 6 more months with her, she was my little partner and I miss her every single day. When I adopted her 5 years ago, she was a bit older 4-6. Very laid back and lazy, and wasn't too bright, so people passed her up for younger more spunky cats, but I just wanted a couch cat and that's what I got.
You're amazing Zane , not enough people like you and the woman in this story ! If more people looked at cats the way you both do then we'd have alot less sick and senior and cats that aren't kittens in the shelter. My boyfriend and I have been trying to help the strays in out neighborhood. But what I found out was people are throwing out their cats for all kinds of crazy reasons including 6 month old cats. We've rescued and found homes for about 8 cats so far and foster failed in 3 more !!! Smh!!! But we also have taken neighbors cats and my boyfriend pays when a cat gets sick and they don't have the money . Which is the reason I suppose we'll never be rich the more he makes the more we spend on the outside cats and any sick cats who's owner's don't have it. But I'm OK with that as long as I feel we're doing what we can!!
Cats have such deep souls. She healed Bruiser's heart, and I am sure he healed a part of her. Love is eternal even with our animals. One of the greatest blessings in life.
@@JustapErson They're not trying to pick up chicks. They're targeting women with some sort of scam to convince them to send money. This happens all the time in Geobeats and The Dodo. They need to be REPORTED.
Just cried my eyes out. We have had many special needs animals over the years and hopefully gave them as much love and care as Bruiser received. Beautiful story 💖 🐈🐕🐎🐑🐇🦘🐔🦆
Yes! Bruiser got to fill his heart with precious love for his family. To belong to anyone. To be needed by someone. This is what keeps us going. This is love. This is love.
Giving them a good, happy, love-filled life is the very best we can do for them - that's the only peace there is about losing them at the end - that they felt love and comfort 💖💖💖💖
when she talked about her last day with him i lost it, i knew id cry but damn, "and i felt his little head go limp" hurt hearing. it really makes me rethink how much time i spend with my cat, it makes me both dread and look forward to the next 10+ years. this woman is so amazing, what a saint.
Years ago my wife & I started "being with them" whenever it was time for one to be put down. I hold them, we both talk to them, let them know we loved them & they're not alone. And when I feel the life go out, it just about turns me inside out, I'm tearing up remembering. But, no matter how gut wrenching it is, we'll always feel it's the right thing to do, they deserve it
I am so thankful to this woman. I've been around cats with leukemia, and it's sad to watch them deteriorate before your eyes. It's always awesome to see someone make a difference for animals that desperately need it. I doubt he'd made it 4yrs if she didn't take him. And on top of that she got all the other sick cats homes as well! An awesome person for sure. Thanks for the great story!
I watched this back when it came out, my cat had been diagnosed with cancer in January and I knew I didn't have too much time left with her. She passed away in late march, saw this video again on the side and clicked on it. My cat was always hanging out with me, at night I'd put my arm out because she loved to sleep on my shoulder. I miss the weight of her little head there every night, her gentle purr and us sometimes stretching at the same time when we would wake up. I know I should look back at the good times but a heavy & empty chest is what I feel everyday.
So sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is. I lost my furbaby in February and still miss her every day. Videos like these bring me comfort as I remember her. Hang in there, friend.
Oh,honey, I am so very sorry for your loss. It is never easy, and the only good thing is you have a heart full of memories. She will always ALWAYS be with you. Hugs and love ❤
Two years ago we found a stray cat in our garden. Nobody knew him or missed him, so we took him in. He has Leukemia, but our other cat is vaccinated against it. This way they can live together without any problems. We have a lot of vet visits behind us. Herpes infection in one eye, surgery and cat flu on a regular basis, but still he is a very happy little guy and i don’t regret taking him in. I hope Mr. Lucky still has many happy years ahead of him. 🥰
Hellou, I just adopted a cat with leukemia, my vet is reluctant that the vaccine will protect the other cat that lives in my home. Can you tell me what your experience has been with this? Are your other cats okay? This for me is a struggle, because in my country there is no vaccine, I am fighting to bring one from abroad.
So many people want to adopt a"perfect" cat or dog. Bruiser was that perfect cat who was able to live the rest of his life in a loving family. RIP dear Bruiser and see you with all of the other sweet animals at the Rainbow Bridge.
This is so similar to my cat Bob, a stray who had Leukemia too. I only had two years; there could have been no more special soul. He even took walks with my dog and I around the block, and the memory of him sleeping next to my back (what a heating pad that was!) is still with me. He actually looked like Bruiser; gray with green eyes! RIP my Bob; I hope to be with you and Jimmy, May and Davey later, my wonderful boy...
I had an indoor cat never went outside & was never around other cats. One day I saw a stray outside my door & decided to take him in as it was freezing out. They ate out of the same dish & because unbeknownst to me that cat had leukemia and my cat caught it. My vet gave her three months to live but she lived for three years& I truly believe it was because she knew that she was loved so much that that gave her the will to live. ❤️😢
Ditch the husband... adopt the cat! Anyone that doesn't care about animals is a no go in my book! This woman truly is a great person. She gave this wonderful cat the best years of his life and got some of the best years of hers. We need out pets just as much as they need us. I truly believe that.
He obviously was so starved of affection. Bless you for giving him all that love before he passed on. I cried with you in those last minutes of the video!! Bless you and your family!!!💙
That would be me. My husband has no say...only acceptance. 😁 actually, he's pretty awesome. He got me two little sibling kittens when my 9yr old cat vanished without a trace in 2017. I still have dreams about her too. Miss her immensely. The kittens came 3 months later. I swore we wouldn't get rid of them if my girl came home, but she never did 😢
I am literally in tears😢 Beautiful sweet baby❤️So happy he found this wonderful lady ❤️ Thank you so much for giving this baby a home, a place to live, peacefully surrounded by love and compassion🍀🙏🏼 Rest In peace little one🌈🐾
This story was so emotional. She gave him & he gave her so much love ❤ I'm crying 😢 Bless her for taking on a very sick cat & making his last years feel loved & wanted. 🐈⬛
Hearing her voice begin to break broke my heart because I know exactly how it feels to love an animal so much, that when they pass away it ultimately hurts. Cats and dogs aren’t just pets, they’re your best friends. I’m glad she took care of him to the very end, they deserved each other.
It got to me too. I had a wee doggo named Edward. Looked exactly like Benji from the movies (you're prob too young to recall, lol). He was approx 2 when we got him. He had a broken front leg and a punctures lung. When the vet shaved him for surgery, they found a bruise in the shape of a work boot on his side. Edward was my soulmate. He saw me thru 2 bouts of cancer, the loss of 2 dear friends, and the shocking death of my husband of 28 years. He was 19 when he passed. This was 3 years ago and I still wake up in the morning and peek over the side of the bed, looking for him. We don't deserve pets. They add so much richness to our lives and ask very little in return. When he passed, I held him and told him that this was HIS turn to go ahead first and wait for ME. That he and his Dad would be in heaven when I get there, to just be patient. Sorry for this long reply!! I just loved what you said and how eloquently you put it. Thank you. Love and Bless xoxo
I cried my eyes out as I also have a Russian Blue that I rescued from a shelter. But this lady is far better than me ... she is an angel and I am so happy she helped Bruiser and all the other cats to be adopted
@@leboeuf05 I adopted my Russian blue from a shelter. She is a strange little character. I know she loves me but, she will not be around anyone else. When people come to the house she will hide until they are gone. She only likes to eat when I am around. I got her when she was four months old she is now nine months old & I know she will never be a people person cat. But that’s OK she is what she is. ❤️
We adopted a leukemia cat when I was 15 (back in 1985). His name was Willy and he was the best. A black & white moo cow that lived another 12 years. ThankGOD.
Bruiser had THE best 4 years of his life with this lovely family. Thank goodness that there are so many brilliant, kind people out there ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I cried with joy when I saw this lady adopt this cat, and with sadness when he died in her arms!!!! She gave him with her family protection and love and I am convinced that these 4 years have erased all those spent in shelters; thank you .
Aww, so sorry for your loss, you gave him everything he needed and wanted those last 4 years, and getting all the other cats adopted?! You’re an incredible person ♥️ God bless your heart
His little trilly meows as he nestles into you is so damn adorable. My cat does the same kind of thing with following me around, and curling up with me at night. He’s such a sweetheart, and so is yours
Bruiser must have known she was an angel when she 1st walked into the leukemia room, I am so emotional after watching this, I'm happy that Bruiser's story ended so great but am sad for all of the sick cats in shelters that nobody wants. 😭😭😢
I don't think I could do it not because I don't want to but because I wouldn't be able to watch them die I have had to many animals that have crossed the rainbow bridge and every time it felt like a piece of me left with them they all become family and once they die it hurts too bad.
I was thinking about the 11 other cats in that room the whole time, and then she said the room is empty now. Im crying.. So thankful for people like this
When she couldn’t get Bruiser off her mind and even her husband had said no to her many times ... but she pushed through for the sake of Bruiser. That being her one thought and instinct to help him and the other leukemia cats. For this kindness she received so much love from Bruiser. What true friends they were!
I am deeply moved by the trust, love and honesty in Bruiser's eyes when he looks at you in this video. It's obvious that you shared a unique and special connection and he was touched by your divinity within. Be blessed.
When she said they were watching the sunset and he had his head on her shoulder as usual, then felt his head drop, I lost it. An incredibly sad yet beautiful moment.
My faith in humanity has increased slightly after watching this. What you did for Bruiser and the other cats...words fall short of adequate description. Thank you.
What a lovely person, no wonder Bruiser fell for her. Four years happiness for him, well done to the lovely family who cared for him, kept him safe & gave him everything he deserved. 💖🤗🐈
This lady is INCREDIBLE!! She has created such change for Bruiser and all the other cats she has helped. What an amazing person and a fantastic example of humanity Laurence has set for her children.Much love and respect to you❤️🙏🌈😸
Bruiser probably didn't have much of a life till this woman adopted him. Those last 4 years could have been the only happy years for him. A very important story , as even leukemia cats deserve a loving home. As long as they get their medications they can live longer. These cats didn't ask to be on the streets abandoned like that. Its scary for any cat to be sleeping outside at night in any season, simply terrifying. I feed abandoned cats, catch them and take them to a no kill shelter. I want cats to get a chance for a better life. Cats are so loving & affectionate, they deserve more.
You are Million percent completely right !!! They definitely deserved to be loved and cherished , and I think we should all do our part and im so glad and thankful to this amazing and wonderful woman , who gave him the love and comfort, and safety and warmth , and made him feel accepted and belong and part of her family and especially it moved me so much how he snuggled on her pillow besides her and escort her at night to the bathroom and back , it was his little cute way to shoe how much he loved her. And I do also what I can to help Street cats , with what I can
I cried watching this...specially now that one of my four furry babies was diagnosed with leukemia...I'm still trying to figure out what to expect of this journey...so far he's fallen anemic with a tremendous loss of appetite which calls for me to constantly beg him to eat...he used to be such a strong, happy, purry cat, and now, he only wants to be in a dark spot inside a closet...watching this video, ultimately realizing a fatal end is the only certain thing I have with him, breaks my heart
So... I understand this far more than I feel like anyone should. My little girl (she's technically 17 in human years) was recently diagnosed with Kidney Failure. Obviously, it's not something that can be fixed or replaced or anything. Especially not at her age. I panicked.... I broke down.... I knew something was really really wrong when she didn't come say hi to me after I got home from work. She always did, even if she was sleeping. She knew when i was home and came every night. When i saw the state she was in, I started fearing the worst.... I stayed up all night trying to get ahold of emergency vets in my area to get her in. To get her into any vet after 8 am since that's when everyone opened up..... First day, we took her to a vet. They checked her in, got some vitals and had us wait for an hour. After that first hour, we were brought back into a room.... We were there for 3 more hours with no one checking in on us, no one giving us an update. We had to constantly ask someone and it was just heartbreaking. By the time we left that place 4 hours after walking in, I had been awake for over 24 hours because of how scared I was. On the way home, we got her an appointment for the next morning. As soon as we got there, I could tell that this vet clinic was gonna be different. They were constantly checking in on us and checking on her. Testing what they could to see what was wrong before finding an answer. We spoke to the vet and one of the assistants there about what could be done and got her on some medication. Including the day i found her in that state, she did not eat anything for at least 4 or 5 days. I had some of those tube treats that she loves and I had to force her to eat even a small amount of it. She never turned them away before then. But as we gave her the IV medicine every day, the pill fragment that we were to give her, and with constant love and support, she got better. Because it's so recent, everyone is reminding me of her age and that she might pass soon and it's so hard to think about that.... But as long as she has the fight in her, I will fight for her no matter what. I'm not giving up on the one that never gave up on me. Though all my dark times, she was always there for me. It was finally my time to be there for her. A fatal end is not all that's left.... Talk to your vet. See what can be done. See what is reasonable and what you're willing to do for them. They see how much we fight for them and they will return that with undying love. According to YT times, it's been a month since you posted this.... I truly hope that they have gotten better and are holding on strong with you. One diagnosis does not mean the end. It is a challenge in the road of life and a new bonding experience. I am very grateful for the second vet I mentioned. Because of her, my baby girl is able to curl up and sleep on my bed behind me, even more affectionate than every before. She still needs a special diet to help her, but she's working with us as we are working with her. The memories you've made together will never fade and the tears you shed for them are never meaningless. Both show just how much you both love each other. ((sorry for the long reply, i have no idea how to shorten it to make it easier))
@@Mizumii25 You're such a strong, loving and caring CatMom🫶🏼. You don't let your cat down and she feels your love and support and therefore she's willing to fight. So glad you've reached out to this second vet. Hope you'll have many more wonderful days, weeks, months and years with your beloved cat. Don't ever loose hope. My Georgie was diagnosed with chronical kidney disease aged 8,5. After 4,5 years he's got lymphoma and one more later hyperthyroidism. He passed away 1,5 years later (just 3 weeks ago), I had to let him go, he couldn't take it any longer. But all those years he was so full of life and urged me to take him outside on little strolls on a daily basis. He was so grateful for every single day and he showed me his unconditional love and affection till his last breath. We came such a long way despite all his medical issues and I'm so thankful for our 15,5 years together. One last thing: thank you for loving and caring for your precious cat.
@Ruby Benge I wish I could say she's got a few more years in her but we sadly had to put her down this past Wednesday. I feel like such a failure to her. It's hard going through the days now without her. She was such a heavy presence in my life that it's hard doing my normal things.... I swear I see her all the time out of the corner of my eyes. It's so hard looking at the things she touched and not crying.
In the next life you both will be together forever, I'm sure, we all will be with our beloved (human or animal) in heaven. I adopted seven cats (street cats, sick cats) in the last 20 years, five of them passed away and I miss them every day! Thank you for sharing!
Teared so much... But knowing Bruiser is free of pain now, it must be for the best. Thank you for loving him until the very end. Rest easy, Bruiser 🌈🌈🌈
What a sweet boy Bruiser was. He was lucky to have a family that loved him and they were so lucky to have him. Bruiser is now running and playing with no pain ☺️❤️
Wow. 4 years. Minus all the obvious signs of affection he showed, the fact that he held on for 4 years shows how much he loved his life with them and decided to delay his cross over the rainbow bridge so he could savor every last second of cuddles. What a beautiful show of love. Also, the act of love that SHE displayed when she let him go when he indicated he was ready is honorable. It's devastating when you are faced with the decision to let them go, and people sometimes focus more on their own emotional pain rather than their pet’s and end up prolonging their suffering. But because of their bond, she knows she did what he wanted and was selfless so she can rest easy on that despite the grief.
The heart this woman has, helping so many cats find homes and finding one very special fur angel and giving him the very best life anyone could ever hope to have
His purring said it all. ❤ thank you for loving them all. I laughed when you said shelter asked how did it go with ur husband, and u said you got the GREEN LIGHT 🤣.
I rarely write comments, but you are an angel. Watching your and bruiser’s story had me weeping yet brought me so much joy. Im so happy you gave him the best life. Now bruiser is your forever angel.
What a story. The emotional ride goes from disturbing, to inspiring, to happy, and then to sweet sadness. This woman is a saint. Bruiser was-and still is on the other side-a spiritual giant.
Laurence, you are an extraordinary woman who should be a model for the rest of the world! What you have done for Bruiser and the other leukemia cats is amazing. I was touched by your little boy bringing food to Bruiser, saying (not an exact quote, sorry) "Want some food? So you'll get strong." -- proof that you are also raising extraordinary children by your example. They will save many Bruisers in the future and do other humanitarian things as well, I'm sure. Thank you from me and from my cat Giacomo, both of us mourning the recent loss of his mother Musetta, the most affectionate cat I've ever known.
Bless this woman, every single day. She taught me so much about an open heart. How painful to let him go when he was ready, but my gosh, what a gift to both of them.
This is so nice to see. My 14y old cat has seizures and epilepsy. He was almost lost 2 years ago but I never gave up on him and he is doing much better now. When I was having panic attacks and feeling that life was not worth living, he never gave up on me. The least I can do is do the same for him, as long as he is with us. Warm hugs to this beautiful family.
This made tears rolls down my face, I have a senior cat who was abused in the past and the love these poor souls have to give us so pure. He is the greatest gift in my life and I never take a single day for granted. Special needs and senior animals are angel!
May Saint Gertrude bless her kind heart. As an owner of a Russian Blue cat, this makes me cry to think of seeing my baby in that condition. All cats need a home, especially the ones fighting for their lives or spending their last days. No cat deserves to pass away spending their last days in a cage. ❤️

@Metal Fan Please don't say that. We don't know the reasons.
I'm crying too 😢
Suffering cats should be euthanized but you want to play hero and prolong the pain ...
Truly disturbing and selfish!

My 17 carot/red cat died of leukemia 4 years ago, it was horrible.
His sister is still kicking at almost 21y...
Bless you for giving her a wonderful life!
So sorry for your loss. What a beautiful soul you have.
Thank you for taking care of her.
that is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us

The purring is so loving. He clearly knew he was loved and was very happy.
Hard to get past that purr-motor. When they're happy they can really rev it up. I live with seven cats, all indoor and all rescues. I've lost four since I started rescuing cats and the most beautiful sound is that purr when they are happy.
I’m so happy that this wasn’t a story about just one cat getting adopted, but that the whole room was rescued. Now that’s a happy ending!

All parents should be required to teach their children about compassion and empathy but so few do. This is a shining example of parenting done right! These children will teach their children and the world will be a better place because of Bruiser. I'll keep this video forever!
That's because their mother taught them to be sweet and gentle around animals. What a lovely lady 💕
@@lolcatz88 Very true. This was a beautiful story.
Bruiser fought to live and love. He could have curled up in a corner of that shelter and given up, never approaching his would-be mom that very first time. He fought to find a human that would love him and that he could love back, and he indeed found that. Rest in Peace, Bruiser. Your story and your loved ones live on.

Hello Diana how are you doing today.
You can hear her ruptured voice when she talks about his death. I cried with her, you can feel the enormous amount of love she had for him.

When the little boy offered him food “to get strong.” Legit cried.
Four years with his family that’s amazing
The 4 years made such a difference in Bruiser's life as well as their lives.
He passed away loved and wanted. The best way to go in my opinion.
Compassion goes a long way when it comes to loving fur babies.
She's such a compassionate human being and she did the right thing and Bruiser had the best 4 years of his life. ❤🐈
May God bless You.
You are truly an angel on earth.
Love and greetings from sweden

She did a most wonderful thing for that kitty. He knew he was loved!
4 years is roughly a third of a whole life for an average cat. That's never enough, but it mattered to him a lot.
We dont know how old he originally was.
Yes! Bruiser got to fill his heart with precious love for his family. To belong to anyone. To be needed by someone. This is what keeps us going. This is love. This is love.
so sad. What a beautiful kitty, rest in heaven. You gave him a wonderful life for the time he had left.
Honestly this is heartbreaking but I lost it when she said about him passing in her arms 🥺😭😭
Beautifully said. This woman is an angel.

He's purring so hard for her he sounds like a mixture between an alien, a raccoon, and a chicken. He was such a happy kitten.
Vaccinated against cancer?
@@Crooftop feline leukemia is a virus. It's not the same leukemia as humans get

It honestly could have been the only happy years for him.
@@juliamclane8319 Hi 🙋♂️
I cried watching this...specially now that one of my four furry babies was diagnosed with leukemia...I'm still trying to figure out what to expect of this journey...so far he's fallen anemic with a tremendous loss of appetite which calls for me to constantly beg him to eat...he used to be such a strong, happy, purry cat, and now, he only wants to be in a dark spot inside a closet...watching this video, ultimately realizing a fatal end is the only certain thing I have with him, breaks my heart
I know it's hard but you have to keep trying for them. Have you tried NHV feline leukemia supplements yet to see if they help?
@@Mizumii25 bless you for being so good to your cat.
Wow animals are so lovely, cute, sweet and such an adorable😍🥰. Do you have a pet?
@@marcolorenzo00089 No, they have me, lol, one 17 year old female born at my place, her old cousin, and a dropped-off gray tomcat.
@@oliviawutam PLEASE don't engage these scammers that prey on women. You'll be SORRY.
Wow.
This made my cry sad and happy tears. Thank God for people like you in this world, so full of love ❤️
same, as a big cat lover whos had 15 plus rescue cats. this made me remember many of those only given 6 months to live.
Well said. I'm also crying.. What a wonderful woman.
4 years for you was 32 for him, you gave him SO MUCH love and a descent life. Thank you.
Bless this woman, every single day. She taught me so much about an open heart. How painful to let him go when he was ready, but my gosh, what a gift to both of them.
So sad, but also glad that he found his hooman who gave him all the love he could ask for and he gave just as much I
in return. Rest in peace. 💕
Its so sad when you think of all the other Cats living in Shelters Being alone
@@katharinagschwantner1779 It is.
Dear owner, thank you so much for loving the cat..😘
Yes, may St. Francis of Assisi bless her also.
Thank you for giving Bruiser the best 4 years of his life. He left this world feeling nothing the love. What a wonderful life to have lived,
