Great timing. I just finished up the posies on the Lady Francis blanket and it has a repeat of the burst "?" pattern which is similar to this but I love this leaf pattern and am going to switch out the last repeat. My stitch count did get off but I fudged it and it looks okay (as long as you are not a savant) and might have to fudge again a little but I think it will work. I have a feeling that this Vintage Christmas will be going on my "to do" list. I like texture and color work that doesn't require me to change yarn in the middle of a row. Thanks for the reminder on half double crochet going to the right. I always have trouble with them. I like these bobbles. Definitely on my to do list.

I just finished it. However, my color choices weren't the best and I need to go up a hook size as I crochet tight in single crochet so I will just have to make it again, even better and prettier than the first time. Of course, I need to go back to the Little Mermaid afghan which I interrupted to work on this. Thanks for the pattern. I love everything about it.
