This team is very reminiscent of the capitals last year. They are a fringe wildcard. Washington realized that early and retooled effectively and gained some assets. Hopefully Sweeney realizes that and does the same
It's well overdue. This club needs a fresh set of eyes to look at the roster objectively, with no ties to anybody on the team. Not Sweeney and his buddy, Neely. For these two to get swept out, the Jacobs clan has to really look at the entire situation and not just the profit margins of 42 home games and some playoff dates, which, by the way, may not happen next spring.

It is not time for a rebuild. Not as long as the guy that "cobbled" this team together , is still pulling the strings. Time for a change at the top.
