Love the new testing / scoring system, especially the shooting 450g arrows at 28" vs. 30" to really get an idea of the efficiency! That is so helpful for those with shorter draw length!
Thank you all the hard work this year on these videos along with all your other content. You and Tim have helped me learn a lot and become a better archer. PSE is bring some heat this year. I cant wait to see the other big dogs this year.
If this bow was a Mathews coming that close to speed rating MFJJ would be hooting and hollering saying OMG nobody else comes this close! It's crazy how much more excited he gets about Mathews. It used to be Bowtech he would pimp, now he's a Mathews fan boy through and through.
He’s very similar with darton. Elite has and has had innovative features for tuning for years now ahead of darton and he gives elite sloppy scores but now Dartons version of limb adjustment tuning is the cats meow for some reason
Thanks for shooting the shorter draw and feed back. This camo is the best looking out of all the bows being made. Looks awesome, wish you could tune it like bowtechs tho
Take a look at Lancaster Mach33 review talking about dynamic brace height. Not sure if it really matters, but makes sense to me. Found it interesting. Love bow release season!
We only have two pro shops around my place and I have bought the new Mathews bow from them every year for the last 9 years but the problem is neither one of them know how to properly set up a bow or tune a bow!! They will both put your rest way out of center shot and never touch a top hat!! This really fires me up so I bought my own last chance press and the draw board goes on the press and I do all my setup and tuning myself!! Since taking over my own setup I can shoot any broadhead I want with no issues and arrow I want with no issues paper tune absolute bullet holes and my bows shoot better now then they ever did when the shop set it up for me!! I feel like a shop selling top tier flagship bows should have to be able to set them up and tune them 100% of the way through to be able to sell those flagship bows!! You get a bow of that quality and it won’t shoot a fixed head because a bad shop makes people think twice about buying another one if they can’t tune a bow or have a press of their own!!
Do bows come out of the box ready to shoot? Axle to axle means distance between axles correct? I ask because axle to axle will not equal center to center or outside to outside. measuring incorrectly could cause bow setup to be incorrect. After all, some of these measurements you are taking are the whole reason to to have a "pro" set up your bow.
As a man let with a DL of 26.5” this bow would probably be great for me. I shot 80 lbs now down to 70 lbs because drawing 80 in the northeast in late November can be a bitch. I just wish the tuning system was friendly as bowtech or elite.
Only pse store near me is bass pro shop and they only have the stinger and brute, so i do go to my local pro shop and he salse mathews and the cheaper bear bows so i shoot the mathews lift this season
How comfortable are you shooting shorter axle to axle bows being the longer draw do you prefer a longer ATA do you prefer a shorter ATA i myself in the 31-in draw give or take and I'm curious how you feel about it because you're more experienced than me if you don't mind help me help myself 🙏
I would love if you would measure the bow less and shoot all the bows with same gear all year , maybe 100 arrows at 60 yards, give us your feedback on the performance on the bow. Maybe measure 10 groups of 10 arrows at 60 to 80 yards. Thats the feedback we really want. How does the bow shoot down range
@@joshuadouglasarcheryI do, and we're not even allowed to hunt. But I use it when the walk to the first target of a competition is longer. And then take off the sling to shoot. But mine stows out of the way on the bow if needed.
You should grade the speed like this with the 450 gr arrow, if it shoots 275 you give it 7.5 if it shoots 287 you give it 8.7 if it shoots 301 its a 10.1 then everyone will know the exact speed looking at your scoring.
Brace height is measured to the front of the string. This back of the string thing they are doing now is B.S. It is measured to the part of the string that contacts the throat of the nock, which is the FRONT of the string. It's been like this forever. What is the deal this year with brace height. Lancasters' review is talking about "Dynamic Brace Height". 😵💫
Im not happy with any of the new pse bows I shoot a pse omen with 60# limbs got a set of 70 limbs on order i really was hoping for a new bow with a ibo of 350+ and nope we got bows that are even slower...
@Jonny0Colorado its starting to look that way the good thing is hoyts still making a speed bow like the zs1... this omen is my first pse bow typically I run hoyt I also have a 82# vtm 31 running 460 grain arrows at 305 fps its fast flat and man dose it hit hard nothing has managed to stop it yet.
nothing is different -just like the dumb (maker)and dumber (buyer) its insanity for like 10 years-there is so many places to spend money if you are heavy into outdoors bow is like the last on the list

I just saw this bow shoot through paper bullet holes and it hit 340fps.

The Wabbit season made my morning!!! Great review and I appreciate your view points and reviews of all the bows and products!!
great way to test besides the appeal, it adds a score that is objective. love the vids man.
Thanks for shooting the shorter draw and feed back. This camo is the best looking out of all the bows being made. Looks awesome, wish you could tune it like bowtechs tho
Really enjoy these. Maybe do a summary video after you’ve reviewed them all. I’d like to see score to score in one video. Thanks keep it up 👍
Take a look at Lancaster Mach33 review talking about dynamic brace height. Not sure if it really matters, but makes sense to me. Found it interesting. Love bow release season!
I have measured this on a ton of bows. 100% makes a huge difference.
Great review, keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing your reviews on this years Bowtech line.
You really don't like PSE 😂😂. Doesn't matter love the show.
Awesome MFJJ!

I have had similar experiences!
I lick the db measurements and the speed at reduced draw length.
I wished I had never sold my old Decree HD. Was an awesome bow.
i have the dream season decree and have been looking to upgrade but not with these bow this year losing too much speed and gaining to much weight.

The Wabbit season thing almost got coffee on the screen man!!!!
I feel like PSE is trending the same as Bear in the $1000+ price range bows. Good, but what really sets them apart?
What sets any bow apart from another?

Is this the best PSE has to offer this year ?
So not much new for PSE's aluminum?
Only pse store near me is bass pro shop and they only have the stinger and brute, so i do go to my local pro shop and he salse mathews and the cheaper bear bows so i shoot the mathews lift this season
I would be curious to know if the heavier arrows also make the bow quieter.
The rubber grip might be adding weight. String angle measurement would be good to know on these bows
X2 on the string angle. I’d honestly rather see that as a published spec than ATA
@@The10pele the most overlooked aspect of a bow

Nice bow, its a fortis with a roller guard!

The Mach 36? Was that a hint or a slip up and you meant 30/33?
There's a 35 this year
Is this a carbon riser too? PSE has it listed under their carbon hunting bows, if so i love the look of the riser compared to the Mach line.
We got it fixed, this is an aluminum riser!
Meh...the 35" Darton was only about 1/10 pound heavier while being 4" longer and having only 1" of riser reflex. 👍
And some slick new tuning ability. I like the new dartons too.
Just seen this bow tuned bullet hole through a speed test, 30/70 350 grain and it was 340fps
Thats how we do it!
Well I buy everything from you!!! That’s that!
That's your problem
Forgetting the QD sling swivel receivers as a feature.
Has anyone ever used those?

You say they are all being better at posting accurate speeds. Didn't the bear bows come up super short on FPS?
Looks like gonna be prob buying a 2024 bow I don’t see the new ones from any brand blowing me away …

Same score as the Mach 33?
For the algorithm, you're welcome lol

We engineer our bows to have a greater brace height at full draw, leading to more stability where it matters.
New scoring statement is overly complicated...but whatever makes MFJJ feel smarter
Did you mean to say system by chance?
Nope, it's simple
👍
Dudes that use vibration as a form of measurement voted for Kamala and got their nails done after
Safety wise, what's the lightest arrow can you shoot on a 70# 28.5"draw? 650 grain?
Not really any different than the evolve or fortis. I was hoping with the name it was gonna be a revamp of the dream season decree
The evolve cam is so amazing I can see why they wouldn’t want to change it.
Kinda like Mathews, they have had the same bow for the last 7 years, they Just added a few do-dads and some gimmicks.
Local pro shop????
NYC and NJ they DO NOT let you try any bows......today I called 4 shops non of them will let you try any bow SMH
My nearest pro shop is horrible. Gouge the prices for service work and try to take advantage of people. Will never give them my business again.

3 ounces isn’t .3 lbs
Nothing wrong with with the Seattle boys but Tool>Nirvana
The rise and fall of PSE. In only 7 short years lol

A very credible comment, insightful too.
Far away from old Decree
That's my favorite bow decree ic
