      Great advice thanks,
      I struggled a lot to sound natural on camera using word for word script until I found the option to present my videos using Powerpoint slides in a teleprompter, so I mirror-flip the slides with PPT Mirror software (using a bluetooth remote). which helps me to record videos while I keep eye contact with viewer and I always have my whole concept in front of the camera. Maybe this could be the best easiest option,

      This is a great option! It is always best to try out a couple different ways to see which one works for you. Thanks for sharing :)

    Great vid!
    Notes to self (Hope they help others also!):
    1. Know your content. Only use the teleprompter as a guide if needed.
    2. Read your script out loud while practicing. (Will also help catch grammatical errors)
    3. Write your script in the same way that you talk.
    4. Read your script out loud in front of a mirror.
    5. Make sure you're projecting a lot of energy. (Think about how you'd like your audience to feel)
    6. BEFOREHAND: Get yourself in a good mood (Sing, dance, fave coffee, play with your dog)

    Thank you for this! I am excited I found you. I started a professional organizing business and I’m using my college best friend to do my social media. She’s pushing me to do more in front of the camera because she knows I’d be good at it. I don’t think I’m terrible at it but I know I could come across a lot better if I could just “be myself”. So thank you for providing tips to work on that!

    You look good and sound good and your delivery was well executed. I'll offer a couple of my own tips from having worked in the field of video production since 1988. Your composition is poor, with your eyeline being approximately 1/2-way down the screen. If you watch the news or any professionally done video with a narrator on camera, you will see their eyeline is approximately 1/3rd the way down from the top of the screen. That's more pleasing and natural looking. Your background is a little cluttered although you have low enough depth of field such that it is softly out of focus. So that's a positive. The other issue I have (it's personal preference) is your use of background music throughout your presentation. That does nothing (for me) to improve your presentation. In fact, I find it distracting and would eliminate it entirely.

    You are an expert ! Is there any way, we can record in instagram reels and repurpose to other channcels. what is the best proces? Thanks dear

    • @WandermintCreative
      @WandermintCreative  2 года назад +1

      Yes absolutely! You can repurpose your IG Reels to TikTok and to RUclips shorts. You just need to make sure you are keeping the content native to each platform by following the best practises for both. I would recommend creating TikTok's first and then repurposing those to IG Reels since TikTok trends are usually ahead of IG.

    Biggest struggle is recording video without the script for less than one minute videos. Do you recommend me to use the telepromoter for one minute videos. But changing the background will be an issue.

    • @WandermintCreative
      @WandermintCreative  2 года назад

      Hey Suma, you could totally use a teleprompter if you like but the setup/takedown will be much more difficult. I would recommend writing out a brief outline and sticking it behind you somewhere while recording or even holding it in your hand so you can glance at it. Then in editing you can cut out the parts where you are looking down to reference your notes.

    • @WandermintCreative
      @WandermintCreative  11 месяцев назад

      Hey! I would recommend either continuing to look at the phone and then cutting out parts of the video where you are looking at the script, or you could use a teleprompter right on your phone!

    Biggest struggle with video content is the sound of my voice over video. It sounds nasally. Any advice?

    • @WandermintCreative
      @WandermintCreative  Год назад

      Yes! Are you using an external microphone or internal? Using a proper external mic will make a huge difference. Also, you can use a wind sleeve over the mic to reduce and muffles.

      I so resonate with this comment. I had this feeling too. Then I realised thats just what I sound like! 😂😂😂. Then I got used to it. Then I got over it. I read up on this and it has something to do with sound conduction in your head so you sound different to yourself compared to how others hear you.

    Nice presentation and good information, but the biggest fault is in the jump cuts that you have included. Surely if you had rehearsed the script then these cuts would not have been necessary. Well done all the same x

    • @WandermintCreative
      @WandermintCreative  2 года назад

      Thank you. Sometimes jump cuts are used for attention resets, and although you have a script and practise it that does not mean you won't fumble over your words and have to start again. That is where the editing process comes in.

    • @vincentoliver
      @vincentoliver 2 года назад

      @@WandermintCreative They certainly grabbed my attention, but not for the right reason, it just made the presenter look like she had a nervous twitch. However, the content was very good once you ignore the distraction.
