Maybe a dumb question…… but why did you pick that style of sluice pan compared to the normal round style? I’m trying to see other folks points of view. I’m down in Stockbridge for the next few months and wanting to hit up some places in north Georgia and possibly Tennessee and NC. TIA.

@@covanfamilyadventures1890 I line the gold claw for test panning and in general, the maverick I like in place of a round pan just because it’s more packable

@@RemOutdoors makes sense for sure. I just bought the gold fox back pack sluice. I want to go check out that creek you panned around Marietta on the bike trail. I’m staying in Stockbridge for a few months so trying to find shallow creeks so my son can play while I pan here and there. Thanks again sir!
