every robot (except eyebots) can explode if you have Robotics Expert! just uh- shit it down *before* you do that, otherwise it'll keep attacking and yes, you can just: hack > shut down > return > self-destruct *without* having to re-hack it
Nope, the free man, the gun he was using is actually considered a higher lvl weapon and is used by specific class builds. And it seems to me, if he was wearing combat armour, that must mean he must've been doing a big guns build or melee build, the free man in fall out 4 filters into the big guns section .____________________________. I play too many videogames ._____________.
Or, alternatively, as a big-guns/melee power armor build playing fallout 4 on survival difficulty, it's just a copious amount of time cringing every time you sweep something's head clean off with a super sledge, be it man, monster, or machine. They're the lucky ones, they dont live long enough to see what happened to their heads.

Those things scare me more than suicider super mutants. If you're in Power Armor at full health with little rads, you can tank it. Assaultron? You may as well be in your underwear wearing cardboard boxes. That X-Men Cyclops beam will cause a VERY quick game over if you don't move quickly.

Second clip reminds me of a moment I had earlier today actually. Started a new character and got to Covenant. Was sitting there doing the test and suddenly 3 super mutants just waltzed on up (using the "War of the Commonwealth" mod, so lots of enemies everywhere) and started shooting with assault rifles and even a damned sniper. I just casually continued with the test and completed it while one mutant ripped 12 rounds straight through the back of my head. Then I stood up and turned around only to see Dogmeat snarling uselessly at the guy and Heather (from a companion mod) sitting down bleeding out. I then promptly busted out my REC-7 (Modern Firearms) named "Helminth" and hosed 2 of the mutants while the third one ran away, only to get blown up by a Minuteman with a damned M79 (also Modern FIrearms).

I used to pick up trash cans and bodies in new vegas and carry them in front of me to sneak around enemies.
