    Glad to see you wait until snow is on the ground to burn the brush pile. I always did. As a firefighter, I wish everyone waited.

    We attended a nice bonfire awhile back. When first lit the flames were like 100’ high! Dry cedar branches will do that.

    Hi Dan, Glad to see you have come to discover another use for your leaf blower. Oxygen supports combustion. The more oxygen, the more combustion. Ever hear of an Oxygen Lance or Burning Bar? The concept is to use a torch to get a material hot, and then turn off the gas and increase the Oxygen. Steel mills use them to cut up giant ingots. They will even cut through concrete because everything will burn, if, you get it hot enough. Just be careful not to melt your leaf blower. I use a dryer vent pipe as an extension for that. 😊 Shalom/gw

      @Back40Firewood  8 месяцев назад

      I like that idea of a dryer vent for an extension....might have to keep that in mind for future bonfires. Thanks!

      Cattle don't know anything about parasites. They eat it because it tastes good because it is high in minerals and their diet is short of minerals. Civil war soldiers ate wood ashes with their food. They could walk 50 miles per day.
